Do you sell/resupply in public (no solo) sessions?

Are there still people here who run their business/organization in public sessions with other players? If yes, tell me what you think about it, why you do it instead of doing it in an empty session, how you make it work and how you deal with douchebags trying to ruin it for you.

Yes, but controlled public sessions. By controlled, I mean with people I know. Mainly because of the High Demand bonus.

But when there are randoms, unless there's 5 or less, nope, never :p

If I have to be honest, I barely do any CEO jobs these days. I have tons of money, so I don't need to grind, and after about 100 vehicle exports they became quite tedious. But when I do anything, it's always in solo public sessions. I don't intend to waste my time dealing with griefers and cheaters, gambling with my profit, hoping there won't be any Hydra kid trying to take me down.

Up until the Gunrunning update, I've been generally avoiding public sessions, due to the cheater plague.

Yes. I'm not scared to play a multiplayer game with other players. I've sold in solo lobbies before and it's boring.

When I start playing I go to a solo public session & I do all the CEO/MC/Bunker stuff I wanna do. After I earn hundreds of thousands I get bored from beeing alone so I switch to a populated public session. At that point I don't really care if players will grief me because I already made the money I wanted to make.

It depends. If i really need money or i want to sell a large amount of Cargo/Biker sh*t i will change my MTU setting.

f*ck no

Money incentive or not I'm only doing these in crew only or solo public sessions

Now that cheaters are currently almost completely gone on PC, yes, I sell in public sessions again. But only in small ones :p

All the time, it's been exhilarating and challenging with the crew/friends lately. Mostly still easy even with just one buddy to assist.

Solo? Only if the delivery mission doesn't involve Post OP trucks lol.

Resupply? Sure. Only thing that's at stake is my time.

Sell? Hell to the no.

Yes

> If yes, tell me what you think about it

it's more fun than doing it solo. At least something is always happening.

> , why you do it instead of doing it in an empty session,

I practiced solo sessions in the past when I was trying to sell the full product (full CEO crates, full businesses). I stopped doing that since the Import / Export DLC, becase if you sell the car with other players you will have no enemies.

> how you make it work and how you deal with douchebags trying to ruin it for you.

Awareness.

I check the map, I check the skies for Hydras, I check the pegasus spots, I check the Ghost / Off the radar notiications.

I'm always ready.

I have CEO office in the city , Bunker in the desert and all the Biker Businesses scattered around the map.

When the area near the CEO office is crowded, I don't don't do Import / Export, I'm doing some VIP mission or getting supplies for the Bunker / Biker's business. When the desert is crowded, i mess around in the city importing vehicles. If the session is calm the I/E is my preference.

If there are douchebags all over the map, I farm Sandkings - this kind of activity gives no notification :)

I know it's time to sell either when the session is calm or when douchebags too busy dueling each other (assuming they are not in the Jets, Helis or Oppressors).

I never ever sell a full product - always in parts. Takes less time to deliver (exactly fits the cooldown between the VIP missions) and the risk is not too big. Besides, you will get a bonus if you sell in session with other people, so it's more profitable - what could be sold for $150K sells for $200.

Selling the Gunrunning product is even easier

1) There are no Post Vans

2) You can recieve an Insurgent (which is armored)

3) You can pick the selling vehicle with a Cargobob if it's lite enough.

One good way to know your session - you can start Piracy Prevention / Executive Search or Fortified.

If no one will mess with you during these missions, then it's most likely no one will mess with you in the supply run.

Since I can't find a reliable way to get a solo public on Xbox, I'm stuck with regular lobbies, but I try not to do business in populated lobbies.

Yes I loved selling in full lobbies becuz of the bonuses .. However before they patched the solo sessions ... I wud empty out the room if i see anyone approaching my stuff. ....

My slow internet doesn't allow me to play in lobbies with more than 15 people so I'm lucky if I want to play alone, but so far I've had no issues delivering stuff with Gunrunning in small lobbies with 10/12 people at most. I've encountered some problems when selling cars but it just happened once.

So yes, I do sell and resupply in public lobbies but only if there are not many people and if I see that these people are minding their own business

i play with like-minded individuals that all play by the rule "if they don't attack, we won't attack". this works pretty well when i notice that all the other players are in CEO/MC/Gunrunning missions of their own. no one goes after anyone else. it only takes one clown in a Hydra or APC to throw a monkey wrench into the flow of things.

Yes, when you enter a session and observe the killfeed a few minutes you know if it's a safe session for doing sales or not. I don't care what kind of session i'm in to resupply. I always steal them and the missions don't take longer than a few minutes, so I don't lose anything when it gets destroyed.

please stop me

I've done most of my CEO work in public session, very rare someone attacks. This could be because i'm rank 568, so I'm mostly with people at the same rank and aren't interested in freeroam madness but making money.

^ agreed.

When you see "X killed Y" several times in a few minutes and it's not the same few players having a freeroam "measuring contest" then you look for a new lobby.

I've done a few supply missions in quiet public lobbies that usually have <10 players, but I'd rather keep in the MTU lobbies (which can still have others that 99% of the time are also minding their own gunrunning).

When it comes to down to doing business, nope, solo lobbies for me, if there are just a few people, I will do supply runs.

Black-Dragon96

Nope (i do not count a lobby full with 20 crewmembers as regular public).

I simply dont like it. Constantly on the run, constantly fearing that the shipment goes to sh*t is simply not my style.

Anyone else purposely deliver close to nothing to provoke players into attacking you? I used to do that from time to time.

Crate pickups, biker/bunker/car steals, car sales, bunker sales, single crates sales... normal lobby.

Full large warehouse sales, biker sales...Solo public.

I will never have a full bunker as I can buy 75k of supplies/sell it by spawning. Biker business require too much monitoring and net very low amounts for single vehicle. The ability to spawn in a business buy supplies and spawn a few times later and profit 135k is more of a gift than a chore. If I could spawn in the coke lab or any biker business for that matter, probably would do the same, just to change it up.

I only sell in solo lobbies, or lobbies with only my friends and/or only my crew in it. I have no interest in dealing with 12 year old griefers blowing me up with hydras and oppressors while I'm in a post op van or a tug boat

F*CK NO. Absolutely not.

I'm not going to risk my hard earned time dealing with griefers, cheaters and trolls. I never sell in a public lobby. Always solo. F*ck getting blown up by a griefer.

Not really. Lobby splitting is usually the first thing I do.

That being said, I have gotten CEO stuff done in lobbies with randoms before. Player/Map analysis and situational awareness are key to making money in populated sessions. At least for me, the most dangerous people are those not in organizations and show up as regular white dots on the minimap.

I used to work in solo lobbies, but since they're not easy to find, I only work in lobbies with less than 10 people and they have to be buying and selling as well. I find that the ones that are doing their MC/CEO/Gunrunning work don't bother others who are doing the same thing. Just last night I was in a lobby with 6 other people, we were all doing our work, no one tried to kill anyone except when someone got a bounty on them.

Yes i do. I make sure i don't kill others who are working. just in case.

I check the map constantly, and if i see a jet coming my way i go off radar/ghost org...

Other blips will be awaited with an ambush...

As long as you check the map constantly, it's all good. They don't even expect you to be looking so most of the times they come in way to wild and you can take them out...

No, only solo sessions or controlled ones with just crew members/friends.
