gun running dlc best weapon upgrade

i have a couple of questions regarding this topic

 

what exactly do i have to purchase in order to be able to upgrade weapons, the bunker or the underground place where you upgrade weapons or both?

which weapon would be the most useful to upgrade (cause i only intend to upgrade one and not all)

can i use it during missions, death matches and public lobby?

Best weapon upgrade? Personally, all of'em. If I had to choose one, go for the Heavy Sniper cos, yeah, boom boom

The Pistol and SMG are meh

The Assault Rifle brings it up to be able to compete with the Bullpup Rifle and the Special Carbine

The Carbine Rifle outclasses the Special Carbine

The Combat MG is the best and i'm not being biased here

The Heavy Sniper is a Overpowered piece of crap that literally kills everyone in 1 shot. Except NPCs because they like to cheat.

 

Which reminds me, how much ammo are you left with if you buy6 those special rounds like FMJ?

The bunker IS the underground place.

You upgrade inside the MOC, wich you can only buy if you own a bunker.

generally all weapon upgrades are great , I just love how powerful my assault rifle has become ...

The Combat MG Mk2 with FMJ rounds is seriously OP. Think it's like 30 rounds from the mag before a vehicle's on fire, and it deals massive damage to players and NPCs too.

Heavy sniper rifle with explosive rounds. It one-shot kills a full HP player. Probably don't even have to aim, just remember BF3-4 HE shotgun strats and aim for legs.
P.S. I didn't tested it out. The comment goes from my PvP experience.
