Grove Street Suicide Glitch [PC jumping/climbing]

I recently came back to GTA:SA, just for the hell of it. I was trying to get up to the gun and spray can on the roofs of the grove street houses when I noticed a strange glitch.

Basically, I jumped on to the top left house (with the wooden fences) and then tried to jump onto the other building. After making the jump, CJ would grab onto the short inner wall on the roof of the second building, and in a split second die. Here are a few details I had that could help you recreate this glitch:

 

I had the knife equipped

I did not have the frame limiter on

I did this just after the first mission

I did not have any armour on, though I didn't test it with armour.

 

I'm assuming this is because CJ clips through the roof, but you could suggest your ideas.

What is your operating system?

Is your Game the DVD v1 or v2.

If you have any modifications, REMOVE them.

This is the issue. CJ dying when vaulting through fences or edges is a common bug from the frame limiter being off due to the high framerate, as the game's engine doesn't like high FPS and the physics bug out.

I have noticed this too earlier, if you want to prevent this happening, enable frame limiter.

This happens in a few places. Usually because Carl is trying to grab the ledge, but the wall is too short to properly hang from it. You gotta make sure you jump onto the shelter first, rather than jump straight for the short wall. I don't think any of the factors count, other than maybe the frame rate.

I see answers that do not address his "CJ would grab onto the short inner wall on the roof of the second building, and in a split second die."

 

The one previous jumping & die, was attributed to a Pirated Game.

My game was in version 1 when I played it

My OS is WIndows 10

I had no modifications

Also, It seems that I can't recreate the glitch anymore for whatever reason. CJ either just falls off or grabs onto the outer wall, no matter what angle or anything. This might be because I recently installed SilentPatch but it happened before I even tried installing mods in general.

"Downgrader" is a MOD, it does not make a Version 2 or v3 game a version One.

A downgrader allows the V2/3 game to Use Version One Mods.
