Don't buy heavy armor plating for half-track

I don't know if it is a glitch or something.

All types of armor plating work exactly the same.

The windshield becomes totally impenetrable, but the window armor plating is only cosmetic that it doesn't offer any protection regardless of the type of armor plating.

The difference is you cannot use any weapon while driving if you install heavy armor plating.

 

I just tested it.

Same with the custom varients of the Technical custom and Insurgent Pick Up custom during sales. Both of which CG have armor plating and cannot use weapons.

No. The windshield will be totally bullet-proof with any type of armor plating. (at the cost of the ability to throw while driving, that is)

Half track is basically useless even with all upgrades. It's slow, eats 6 rockets instead of 8 on APC and the gun it a joke.

The gun is a joke? What. Upgrade it to the quad cannon and this thing blows up cars in like 1-2 seconds. The halftrack's gun can be insanely powerful.

Too bad it's not as crazy strong as it is as the half track Quad Cannon from C&C Generals.

 

And the armor plating's purpose is to give the driver less ways to defend himself, apparently.
