Hey just because we b*tch and moan about this update doesn't mean we shouldn't also gasp and praise about this update, despite its many flaws

 

I'll start. Two words: WEAPONIZED TAMPA. Jesus Christ this is literally the most fun i have ever had with a car for a long while.

Ok the APC was a bit of a let down, but hey at least its basically like a Tank you own as a personal vehicle excpet better (barring the fact you need 2 people)

*You wont blow up cars by running over them and Police cant suicide ram you

*Its faster

*Unlimited cannon ammo

*Its way more cooler and badass

*It can benefit from upgrades like Engine upgrades and Armor upgrades.

The MOC, f*cking LOVE it. Wanted a Truck PV since day one, I would have taken a bog standard off the road one but the fact that we get a turbo charged almost indestructible unstoppable version makes me happy.

Never felt so powerful in GTA Online. It solves nearly every problem I have with the game, traffic in my way? f*ck off. Police trying to stop me? f*ck off. Insta-spawning enemies. f*ck off. Other players. f*ck off. No-one is stopping me from delivering my Amazon Dildos.

This. So many long requested features: different ammo types, APC, Custom semi, being able to open and close jackets and hoods, and people have been begging for mobile AA FOREVER! He may not remember it or be feeling very grateful ATM, but Happy Hunter suggested mobile AA right after we got the Yacht.

I'll tell you what, the sourcing missions are hard to do solo but DAMN are they satisfying. I just stole a railgun from Merryweather. HOLY CRAP I forgot how much fun the railgun is.

Love that supply mission so much. Got one I had to steal from Humane Labs and I was in complete awe the entire time. Rockstar did a fantastic job with these missions.

I really like all of it. I love military stuff and so far the cars are cool, still deciding if the Half Truck is worth buying though. There are of course little details I wish were better but overall I am enjoying this DLC. I have basically permentally relocated to my bunker, there is no need to live anywhere else lol.

I love the new MK II weapons plus all the weapon customizations. Oppressor is also fantastic and quite fun.

I love the Mk2 pistol the most for some reason, that new firing sound is so much nicer. There is a real nice crack when fired unlike it's dull predecessor. I imagine the new gun sounds are the fiddling with old audio files that Happy was hoping would be for the Hunter

 

Also, that APC doe... It's like Kryptonian brick sh*t house. Sweet baby Jesus do I love it! That engine note is perfect, and the speed is acceptable if they were going for realistic. Also amazed at how well the amphibious capability was handled... was pretty worried they'd fudge it up and make it look unnatural like the Technical Aqua.

 

The Bunkers and MOC are to die for, the staff are cool AF and fun to watch "work". I don't see much love for the Half track but it's hands down my second favorite next to the APC. I kept the armor plating minimal because it doesn't increase explosive resistance and i like to be able to watch the gunner's 6. The Armored Tampa is my third fave, too bad it blows up with one rocket It's understandable though, i mean that thing has four methods of killing and two at the same time LOL!

The mk2 weapons are great nice to finally have a silencer option for the heavy sniper and love the new ammo types for all the weapons.

 

Hope we get a mk2 shotgun in future with fire rounds (dragons breath- short ranged but deadly).

I've already made 1.2 million. With another 600k+ for an out of town sale sitting in the bunker. So I've already almost paid off my bunker in a week. After I let it build a little more and sell, it will be all profit from then on. Way less maintenance than the drug businesses. I can fill it with supplies and go steal and sell cars for hours before I have to resupply again.

 

The oppressor and APC are both a lot of fun, I'm glad I bought those. I hope I can buy the Tampa soon, but first I have to make sure I get enough saved to buy and upgrade the Countach and cheetah classic

 

MkII weapons are sweet, basically all I use now. I hope they add more weapons to be upgraded

Speedy is right. I did some speed tests at Sandy Shores airfield and discovered that with the trailer attached the MOC Phantom will hit a bit over 90 MPH flat out. Without the trailer it will easily do 110 (according to the truck's speedometer)

Loved usign the Railgun at the MErryweather Docks and Humane Labs. I had a... blast.

 

I like the research system, but it's hard finding other things to do while I wait. I was about to put crates on hold, but with this wait I have to go back to do some crates and then allocate that profit into research boosting. After that I'll reopen my MC businesses to switch it up a little.

 

But aside from the costly bits (I DID grind my way up for this update, after all) it's a somewhat fun DLC. THe dripfeed cars look very nice, even though I will have to re arrange my Sports Classic garage one more time.

 

The supply missions are actually pretty fun and with only one business/bunker to fill it won't get repetitive too fast like the MC businesses.

I can replay the railgun one over and over again and not get bored. Genuinely my favorite part of this update.. the supply missions.

As much as I hate this update it did have a few goodies in it. The MOC is really fun and I hope they do more with it in the future, be it more MK2 upgrades for guns inside it or whatever, speaking of which the mk2 gun upgrades are f*cking amazing, im so glad I dont have to use that ugly regular MG anymore, I wished they would've added a red and full black beret, I didnt like the clothing very much

^^^ the MG goes from a M240B to a M60e4... both are pure sex irl. The M240B's were widely used small arms on the boat I was on so I'm sad not to use it in gtao.

 

On topic: basically everything in this update is perfect digital joy.
