So I discovered something interesting on the Dune FAV.

Right now I am using the minigun, and found that it will stay parallel to the ground despite the angle of the Buggy.

 

Basically to put it into simple terms the buggy can't aim down very far, so I put the buggy on a downslope, however you still cannot aim down. The bottom aim point is still mostly parallel to the ground, despite the angle of the buggy the amount you can aim down will always be the same.

 

Here is aiming full down sitting on a flat road.
