EASY WAY TO COMPLETE ALL TIERS ON SHOOTING RANGE (CONSOLES)

Recommended Posts

So if your like me and are really struggling to complete the shooting range challenges, I have a way. It requires cheating/glitching but it works. If your not into that kind of stuff then this thread isnt for you, but trust me it is an extremely easy way to do it. I am not the founder of this, The founder is TutoFacileFrance

STEPS:
1. Stand infront of bunker

2. Order Heavy Ballistic Outfit and try and ensure it falls on or right next to the yellow circle and the entrance.

3. Enter bunker ensuring you hit the yellow circle first but also grab the armor, and you should then be glitched out carrying a minigun and wearing the armor in your bunker.

TIP: You can use a street car (NOT A PERSONAL VEHICLE) to move the crate to be next to the yellow circle if it didn't fall in the right place.

You now simply go to the shooting range and are able to complete all challenges with the minigun and it has unlimited ammo.

If you fail a challenge you will lose the outfit, but dont panic as you are still able to use the minigun!

Here is a video showing how to do it:

CONSOLE USERS CAN NOW REJOICE!

Game crashes on Xbox One after a few rounds. It makes it easier in tier and sometimes tier 2 but the tier 3 rounds are still very hard.

I have never used a glitch in my life.

But this I might actually try, those shooting range challenges are just too effi'n hard.

I did it on XB1 and it worked perfectly fine. And they are not hard at all all you have to do is spray at the targets, Just hold the shoot button dont let go. I got all tier 3's completed in minutes. It doesnt matter if you miss the targets or where you hit them aslong as you just hit them. If you are still struggling when doing this glitch then maybe your shooting is the problem, try increasing sensitivity and decreasing deadzone.

I have never used a glitch in my life.

Hear hear!

I normally dont do glitches either but after spending all night on them and getting nowhere I thought why the hell not.

Also guys to get out of the glitched state when you have done all the challenges and had your fun, simply remove the armor.

Tempted to do this but at the same time I'm kinda 'enjoying' trying to beat the challenge.

Just get modifications that reduce recoil and equip extended clips. Also, always zoom as soon as the round starts. As mentioned in a previous thread, the shots each target takes before folding back:

Pistol: 1

SMG: 3

Assault Rifle: 5

Carbine Rifle: 8

Combat MG: 10

Heavy Sniper: 1

I at first thought it was extremely hard until I applied the weapon modifications.

Good to know, however like some others I am enjoying the challenge. Reminiscent of Flight School and how frustrating that was, but equally as enjoyable - especially once completed.

Hell, I've done almost everything else GTA has to offer, why not spend time at the shooting range while my research gets done?

I can't get this to work on PS4

Edit: I eventually did

^^My crew mates just did it on PS4, still works. You can push the box around with an npc car, If you stand in front of the yellow circle put the box on the right of it, almost touching the yellow circle like half an inch off of it, when you walk in the circle it picks up the gear as well. Make sure the animation to take you inside starts 1st. Play a bit with the approach angle to the yellow circle and box and you'll get it.

It works on PS4, but be ready for the game to crash.

It's crashed on me three times now. You'll lose some of your progress when it does.

So no way to get to 100%?

I managed to do it just fine, no issues. But when my friend tried it, he would get an error after a few mins.

It should be possible but you may have to do some challenges over. Fourth crash for me, so time to take a break.

For anyone that beat the challenges legitimately, I tip my hat to you. I fully accept that I suck at the shooting ranges, but I can NOT pass Tier-2 of the Carbine Rifle... with the minigun. Best I've done is just 2610 but I can rarely manage >2300. Wish I had a mouse for the aiming. I've completed all three tiers of the other five weapons (all Tier-1's and some Tier-2's with legitimate guns), but the CR is kicking my a**.

Hmmmmmm I'm torn between hooking my mouse up and shooting for a legit clearance or just trying this out before it gets patched... I wouldn't be bothering with this at all if the tier 2 reward weren't so juicy...

Sometimes when it crashes you keep your progress but sometimes not. Do a couple less and go outside again so it saves and then restart the glitch. Most people have issues with the carbine rifle one, don't hold R2 the whole time do it in bursts in the chest area so you can keep your multiplier up a littlebit. You can miss 1 or 2 shots without losing the multiplier. Just be somewhat controlled agressive, don't doubt to much to shoot.

It didn't crash out for me though, it helped that i already completed all the tier 2 ones and some tier 3's, was a pain in the ass though, took me couple of hours. Turned 3rd person aiming sensitivity to 10-15% and zoomed in (R3) as soon as i could when it started. Took me like 5-10mins to complete the remaining ones with the minigun :D. Most people that i know completed the carbine one after 3-5 tries, just keep at it and you'll get it.

Yeah the game crashes after about 10-15 rounds.

All challenges are super easy except carbine, so if you loose a couple of stars when crashing it's no biggie.

Carbine is what you need to beat, others are beaten in first try.

Still haven't beaten carbine 2, have 2650 as best need 2800.

Tier 3 gonna be a bitch.

*edit*

@Equalo

Burst fire in chest area as you suggested seems like a good tactic.

Did it now and got a high score, not 2800 but better than usual.

I will keep trying this.

All the others was just blast away full R2 assult. lol

Thanks.

*edit again*

Second try, burst fire in chest area, passed with 2950 points.

First try tier 3 passed with 3150 points.

Equalo, you are the man. Thanks.

howdy rowdy here it's pretty cloudy hihihi!!!

i've managed to do these crunchy challenges on heaty ps4 hihihi with those tips, if you can't do it with the glitch bridge switch either hihihi (didn't use tipp number 10)

noxchimoon MB <- all fluffy credits edits debits on him hihihi

For all console players PS4 & Xbox, read these tips and apply every one of them to greatly increase your chance of succeeding:
1. Purchase Drum magazines to avoid having to reload
2. Lower your sensitivity to 1 or 2 points higher than 0
3. Focus only on head shots
4. Insure the weapon you are using is your custom made weapon ( I got all stars before realizing i was using default, uncustomized weapons)
5. Count the Bullets as you shoot, don't rapid fire or else you will miss shots ruining your multiplier. Heres the amount of bullets each target will take based on weapon - Pistol = 1 - SMG = 3 - Assault & Carbine Rifle = 5 - Combat MG = 10 - Heavy Sniper = 1
6. Make sure you are in the closest third person view (the view after first person)
7. When aiming press R3 to zoom in further
8. Aim for a goal of 100% all headshots
9. The hardest ones are the Carbine rifle and Pistol so be patient and keep trying with those
10. Turn vibrations off, may sound usless but trust me it does help. The most important thing is to be patient and keep trying, hope this helps!
good sparkly luck, sometimes it suck, but what hihihi

Yes.

Own the Bunker AND a shooting range ($780,000-$845,000)

Get supplies

Research to get it (free or sped up for up to $225,000). It happened to be the first item I unlocked.

Buy it for $500,000

Pay $5,000 each time to request it via an air drop

If you trigger the Bunker-entrance without getting the armor, the $5,000 will be refunded and no cooldown to try again :^:

If you trigger the armor without getting inside the Bunker, then you have to remove it and wait 15 minutes before you can request it again :v:

DOES work in invite-only lobbies :^:

Beware of certain NPC vehicles that will simply drive over (or get stuck on) the armor crate instead of push it :v:

Once you own it...

Interaction menu > Inventory > (the bottom one. Says "Ballistic Armor" or something) > Request $5000
