afk research - the lazy method

since there are so many ways to play gta, i do the lazy method atm.

 

get ceo/mc

put staff to research only

fill supplies (buy for even more lazyness)

leave ceo/mc for not paying the daily bunker costs

go the the surveilance cameras next to the pc for not being kicked

when supplies went zero, repeat (im not sure how long does it atm)

You could also turn off your PC and use your electricity for something useful. Like growing weed.

Or you could just buy the weed and support your local dispensary or back alley dealer... options man, they're a beautiful thing.

 

Yeah, the research is a pain, but if you're grinding car exports, Biker shiz, or anything really while your staff are fully dedicated to research you can make some money instead of going AFK watching netflix or whatever. I'll be going about my GTAO business and when a research item is finished the staff even send you a notification that your upgrade is now complete. It's gonna take forever, yes, but I've resigned to that. I can't justify fast tracking when i plan on playing the game a sh*t ton anyways.

I tried it and (upgraded staff and equipment) turned a full bar of supplies into about 0.55-0.60 bars of research.

 

Left it with about 45% research complete and it finished that and automatically started the next one.

 

Doing the math, I'd rather go AFK (and go to sleep) and let the research happen on its own and pay $75k when I come back than pay the full $225k to make it instant (especially when the research is on a livery)

How long is it from start to finish anyway? Full upgrade?

It should be around 220 minutes to fill a complete research bar.

 

im not sure how long does a full supply bar lasts, i think around 2 hours concerning the 0.55 - 0,60 ratio which ash mentioned above
