They did well stopping the script kiddies online by stopping this tool . Just today ( about 20 mins ago ) I was online getting teleported all over the place ,and killed by ass hats in god mode while someone dropped money bags on me . Great job protecting your precious Online . dicks !

It's the latest version HOWEVER, it's the offline so you're not downloading anything from the servers nor are you at risk of being caught as far as I know.

The Benz: We’re building a video game. Our working title is “Everywhere.” While it’ll have many established gaming elements, we’re also including features that games haven’t touched on yet. I’d like to tell you all the stuff we’re excited about, but I have to keep the specifics under wraps for now. I can say this. We want this game to be less restrictive than other games. While the game has multiple narratives, we also want players to create their own narratives that include characters with a real personality. If we do this right, we’re going to give players the chance to really live out their fantasies, not just the limited fantasies that most games set up for them, and do so in a deeply immersive way.

Good christ I specially logged in for this.

 

T2's fa**otry is at it's finest again. FiveM first, and IV/V mods next.

 

This, my friends, is only the beginning. Paid mods soon

 

EDIT: lol, soon(tm.) does translate to soon, nice touch GTAF!

Although in FiveM's case, it was shut down twice and it's still alive through a third party.

 

There's hope for OpenIV if the source is released in some form. The baton will just keep being passed around. Change the name every time, and it's technically a new product (if it works for Chinese goods getting around import bans, it'll work here as it did with FiveM).

Sorry to burst your bubble but Skids and their skid menus don't use OpenIV for griefing. What you witnessed was most likely an external menu which uses memory values + offsets to do things, or to call natives through memory. That has nothing to do with OpenIV.

 

At most OpenIV was used to update menus with new vehicles, weapons and such - not griefing mods as those are impossible through OpenIV.

 

This is probably Take2's way at trying to prevent leaks from people digging through their files.

For the record, this news has nothing to do with the stock price at this level. All tech stocks are currently losing value and generally Nasdaq is red today after the interest rate has been increased to 1.25%.

I would say just wait it out. GTA modding isn't dead yet. OpenIV is already sprouting a ton of mirrors and it's still usable.

First Bethesda and paid mods now take 2 is removing mods....

It did for me as well but then it prompted me to uninstall.

 

By the way you must be devastated sGTRf :O so am I btw, Now I'll have to play this game without some of your mods spicing things up :/
