Was there ever an official offline installer? I'll also note that Firefox chose to warn me that that offline installer contains a virus or malware. Take that for what you will.

I've updated the link in my signature with the folders that are DLed by ovisetup.exe.

This means my mods for IV and V are f*cked. I hate life.

I would say just wait it out. GTA modding isn't dead yet. OpenIV is already sprouting a ton of mirrors and it's still usable.

 

Now if they go after scripthook... Then everybody's f*cked.

Take Two will never win this round.

Using mod for like 10 years now, I will never let them shut up a community that made me discover GTA, because I hope that more people will discover gta with modding.

modding on gta vc and sa, I will never forget it.

Pretty sure that's just a default warning you get for downloading random exe files. I checked with Malwarebytes and it was fine.

 

It's the first time I've seen it actively warn me quite like that. The original ovisetup.exe doesn't trigger it...

TakeTwo sure loves shooting themselves in the foot, the last time with the micro transactions now with this letter. It is a shame that R* is owned by such a company..

Good christ I specially logged in for this.

 

T2's fa**otry is at it's finest again. FiveM first, and IV/V mods next.

 

This, my friends, is only the beginning. Paid mods soon
