Hazzzz,Some Guys On Steam Do A Reverse Comment. When I Read It I'm Really Angry.
I'm Not Enjoyable Without Cars,Skin,... Mod.

They Said The Game Is Fun Even Without Mod.

And Online Is Boring,Just Have Accident With Your Friend Or Get Killed...

Online Atleast Should Add Hang Out With Friends.
Now If GTA Release A New Game Give It A Booo,Don't Buy They Moneykiller Product.

I'm Also Take An Example In This Vid.
No Mod: Mean Cry.
Players Gone Mean Leaving The Game,Refund.

And More.

Hey guys, I just made a signboard for GTA III (Screenshot on Mobile and found only at Shoreside Vale next to the FIA)

ScaGD6p.png

Can you make the billboard for GTA:SA? Possibly for that one mission where you crash through one don't put the X on the T2 logo leave it for CJ to crash through.

Here the photo that you requested. (Edit 1:I just update the signboard with ''Say No To T2'' sign)

Again, no, piracy is not the answer. It makes us look like the bad guys. If you must have SHV in the meantime you can easily downgrade to 1.0.1032.1, the files needed are readily available if you're willing to do even a small amount of digging...

It's been forever that I've been on the forums. I've heard about this outrageous statement and wish the community and Good NTS luck in reversing Take-Two's decision.

I completely agree with you about piracy. We don't want to stoop to that level. That said, if you already own the game, which you paid for, then uninstalling it and installing a pirated version, is NOT the same as pirating, since you paid for the game. I get that by encouraging this, then people who don't own the game, could also follow his lead and actually pirate GTA V. However, if a person who owns the game goes ahead and installs a cracked version to have easier mod access, let's call that more of an ethical grey area than pirating.

Ok now the jokes and memes are over and I'm genuinely getting frustrated over Scripthook. The ASI plugin for RPH crashes my game at loading screen, and I have zero mods installed, not even the trainer.

Nothing wrong with that since you've bought the game. Remember, modding is illegal too nowdays.

Apparently, alexander blade want to see how it goes with OPENIV considering ( i suppose ) the R* answer ( even if, their answer only look to be somes BS - damage control. But that's only my personal thought on that one )

While i can understand he is not motivated to do anything because of how they fked up OPENIV, and because he worked on that too. In another way it also fk a huge part of the modding community since TONS of script mod rely on the scripthook :/

I don't see how modding will die anyway, as we can still mod. Just stay on the current version of GTAV, and continue as normal....Problem solved!

The problem is...if we still mod it will be illegal..and there will be no official support in modding from R* or T2 anymore

Technically, modding isn't illegal. The C&D wasn't meant for us, just the OIV developers.Yeah...It was for open iv...i know that..But since near all the mods need the tool ...

Well that's an interesting tidbit indeed, this clearly states that modding is legal, but that Rockstar and Take-Two have the right to shut down that specific mod if they feel it infringes upon their own copyrights, or disrupt play for other players, also the usual stuff that mods are the property of Take-Two/Rockstar, and they may reproduce it if they see fit. (which isn't all that odd, Blizzard uses similar text for their UI add-ons in World of Warcraft)

Still this could be hint that R* is working on their own modding tool, but that's all just pure speculation at this point.

An ethical gray area that just so happens to be in direct breach of copyright laws. It's software piracy. However you want to paint it...it's piracy. You may own the game...but it's piracy. Technically so is downloading the 1.0.1032.1 exe and update.RPF...the irony of me suggesting that is not lost on me...but there is a huge difference between downloading just enough to downgrade whilst leaving the DRM in place...and downloading the entire game with a crack.

Big difference. One has simply been stated to be illegal; a statement that would not hold up in court...the other is actually illegal.

Take-Two's stocks have been slowly going down since Monday:

shQy_S6wStyLXzEg4-OCwA.png

Just to be clear, TTWO had it's up of all time this year on the 9th of June, which was $79.77. It's lowest this month was then on the 12th of June, being at $71.96. It then grew back to $75.48 shortly before the "showdown" on 14th of June and continuesly falled down to $73.05. That being said, the lowest of the last 30 days was on the 22nd of May, being at $68.59.

So the stocks are still far away from what I'd call negative.

Most likely this is just preventive strike, so they can C&D whatever they want, and (if) in court - they'll be like "we own it, we decide what to do with it, thank you have a nice day lol"

No, you don't "own" a game. You just purchase the right to play it, not the game itself. They could just shut down the game and let it remove from all people's Steam libraries, if they'd want to and you could do nothing about it, since it's mentioned in the EULA, which you sign before installing the game. Ofcourse they'd be gaining bad reputation if they did that, but they have the rights to do that.

I personally don't care, it most definitely will be limited, bugged and restricted. We need OpenIV back!

nope. When we're buying the game - we're buying a license to use it only

Licensor hereby grants you a nonexclusive, non-transferable, limited, and revocable right and license to use one copy of the Software for your personal, non-commercial use for gameplay on a single Game Platform

The Software is licensed, not sold, to you, and you hereby acknowledge that no title or ownership in the Software is being transferred or assigned and this Agreement should not be construed as a sale of any rights in the Software.

So yeah. They own it, and they can do whatever they want. And now they have rights to get their hands on user created content as well. Just by taking it from you without asking, because you've signed the EULA, agreed to give them exclusive and irrevocable right and license to whatever you do with the game\in the game.

For example, they can monetize all GTAV videos now. All of them. "Fair use" won't work anymore. Cuz they own all the content created by end user.

Ah, the beauty of physical copies... Can't make those disappear. Atari knows all about that.

(Browser accidently reposted, sorry. Do not erase that. Erase the one above. Thank you!)

We all had dreams.
Dreams...Our modding dream. Exactly whats on the bet at this very instant.

My dream was born in Childhood, but one thing i learned for sure:

Dreams are born in any moment and phase of our lifes. They has no age.

And dreams have an interesting characteristic: always push us forward, push us into not giving up a path and into FIGHTING for what we believe.

And with the unfortunate events with FiveM, RDRV, and now with OpenIV, that we learn:

not everything, after all these years, runs exactly as we expected.

Another battles had come. Some of them were won, some we failed. A lot of conquests (like the lauch of OpenIV iself, and the ability to mod V. Hell, i remembered GTARandom suffering just to study the engine to make a simple mod work without bugs. Who remembered the early days, where the textures are Low-Res and we suffered to make LOD's work?).

A lot of times we've hit the target.

We did stuff that we judged impossible to do.

And taking ALL of that into account,

i politely ask you guys:
How many dreams we let die in our lives?

That troubled moments make us think.

and in face of that NEW challenges,

we can win, just like before. We renew our dreams.

WE LET US BE RENEWED MY THEM.

We relit our expectations,

We ADJUST our new steps and we FEEL the fire burn again in our chest.

That fire from that day you decided "I Want to Mod"

We are ready.
Dreams are not be made to be jammed.
they are born, grow up, and we NEVER should let them DIE. Like the way we never let that dreams die inside us.

We profoundly, from heart, thank who supported us all that time. People that spent SLEEPLESS nights just to make it possible for us to mod today. Happy 29th Birthday, GooD_NTS. Never let your dreams die!

Any place where people can follow what's happening, instead of just looking through 100+ pages here?

Btw, if you people just did the same thing that 95% of gamers in east Europe do and just pirated everything instead of making pirating a taboo, you wouldn't have a problem now, in the future, instead of buying a game, pirate it first and buy it only if you like it and want to support the developer, it's basically a trial run, would you buy a car before first trying it out? Of course not. Why buy it and then get humiliated like this? In the future only pirate t2's games and that's it, but if you already bought the game, then it doesn't really matter if you pirate it now or not.

95% of gamers using pirated games on a global scale? This might have a negative impact on the gaming industry...

An industry can only carry 'piraters' if they are in the minority.
