This happened to me, but worse, the supplies fell into lake alamo. Got slaughtered constantly since I was in the water retrieving it, respawn aimbot slaughtered, repeat, repeat, run, killed again, finally manage to get to cover and swap out my minigun, use up the 200 rounds I had killing that tanky as f*ck buzzard and get killed by the buzzards butt buddy buzzard. respawn aimbot slaughtered, repeat, repeat, finally manage to get to cover again and buy more ammo, kill the buzzard and dive back into the lake only to be assaulted by another two buzzards aimbotting the sh*t outta me underwater, repeat all previous events but this time I had managed to get to land before being slaughtered so after taking out the other two buzzards I hoped into my insurgent and booked it.

Lol that's the rare occasion where A.I is actually OP

 

Almost every supply mission/special mission I've done have such weak A.I

How many lives do you need to spend to complete a single, stupid fetch/return mission?

The answer to both: the world may never know.

<sigh>

There are some who believe Rockstar has been incrementally buffing the AI (cops, mercs, military, gangs, etc) throughout the game's lifespan.
Others believe the game's AI is exactly the same as it was on release day.
I think those people are whacked and the AI is out of control. But that's just me.

AI on pc needs to be buffed then, controller sucks for fps so pc has an unfair advantage.

Agreed. Don't have any problems with those Buzzards on PC in the new delivery missions. Funny thing is you don't actually have to fight them if you're in your own Buzzard like the OP, just fly away to your bunker. And a controller is actually better for flying compared to mouse/mice & keyboard (just not for "normal" shooting/aiming). Oh, and the minigun doesn't have a great range, so no surprise he couldn't destroy the Buzzards.

The reason i was flying so bad is due to the camera constantly changing my direction instead of letting me point at the AI. Im not that bad I assure you.

Yeah the camera was pulling me away from them whilst I was trying to turn to aim at them. Hence the all over the place movements. Dont know why it does it.

Don't you notice how they're able to fire the Buzzard's guns in every single direction? We're only able to fire it in a single forward direction, but those assholes actually can LOCK ON to you with the Buzzard's miniguns when you're not even able to do that.

 

If you couple that with how they spawn in thin air in multiple waves everytime you pick up the supplies, just like in Import/Export during certain steal missions, how the f*ck do you not consider that OP?

I wouldn't say the Buzzard AI is OP.

 

They're unfair though with how they aim their Buzzard minigun.

 

Usually I hunker down at some cover and snipe the assclowns out of their Cheat Buzzards and make a break for the supplies.

Yeah I think since the I/E update the AI has become way too powerful. It comes to something when even street thugs have the accuracy and damage the army should have..

And it's still a terrible addition, do you think they should make our Gunrunning supply vehicles into Post-OP vans like how they did in Bikers?

 

No, get rid of bad game designs and implement something fairer, this is bullsh*t that's aiming to waste your time so you buy supplies instead and waste more of your money.

Ok not to be rude but chill out man. I've always known how their guns aim and yes I 100% agree with you on how b.s. it is. The reason I made the comment is because im so used to easily destroying ai enemies. Most likely because im used to it by now. Been playing the game since day one. I should've realized that not every player is as tough as me and has access to equipment like I do.

I thought NPC attackers in I/E missions seemed tougher than any others. The ones in the gunrunning missions seem like the opposite, easier than any we've seen in a while. Maybe i'm crazy and they're all exactly the same, but it doesn't feel that way.

Bruh wtf im not tryna be mean or anything, what I was getting at is that im a pretty seasoned player whose learned how to deal with a lot of problems in this game that other players can't handle.

R* is, apparently, unable/unwilling to program their A.I. to the level of how humans would play. So they have to do this in order to make it "challenging". Yeah, Post-Op vans are seriously annoying as hell, but I actually don't want the A.I. to be nerfed if, as I said, they're unable/unwilling to do it in another way. Would be boring af.

I think Kephera is right in saying Rock* can't of just won't adjust the way the game is made difficult. In immersion and story GTA is the best game out there, gameplay wise however this game is utter and utter sh*t. You're fighting computers not, A.I.. They will always hit, they will see you through everything and they will disappear of your map when still alive.

 

Despite it being doable, it is still an unbelievably stupid way of constructing a game because it annoys any well thinking being. That's most of the people in my experience.

 

However there are some people, and unfortunately these kind of morons tend to cluster up at fora, who'd rather claim the problem does not exist because they don't have it. It is as if in their world it is genuinely possible that we'd all congratulate this person with his or her skills. The sad thing is that they mostly show their lack of their analytic skills as well as their social skills.

Yeah, it's not really A.I., right? They don't adapt, make their own decisions, etc. Anyway, it's really doable, and quite easily, tbh., if you yourself adapt. Sure, you can instantly get shot right after respawning, it's annoying and stuff, but that also happens when fighting humans (like in piracy prevention, or when someone is in a Savage rampage with its cannons). But I just think that's the way R* has to do it within their own capacities. And I don't want to make excuses for R*'s decisions in all regards, just in this specific case. I mean, do people really think it would be easier to play/fight against actual humans in those missions who know what they're doing? Imagine those NPCs (who don't use OR or something) would be humans, mopping up the floor with your ass? You'd see far more complains. Really, compared to humans, they're sh*t - that's what I'm thinking about it. But maybe I'm just a moron. I know they have unfair advantages, but they kinda have to in order to make it challenging due to R*'s abilities. What if those Buzzards would intenionally hover over your head while you're on foot and then make a sudden 90 degree turn to shoot their missiles on your head? It's not meant to be that easy, IMO.
