APC is a disappointment

I was really looking forward to having SAM missles that lock on to air vehicles. But guess what, no, the anti-fun squad at rockstar decided to make it free aim so it's not even anti air anymore. I'm personally really disappointed by the fact that the missles don't lock on. I was looking forward to taking down jet greifers using the APC, not the f*cking heavy sniper. It's pointless, don't buy the APC if you want lock on. Its basically just a tank but the SAM fires fast. It doesn't make it practical for anti air use though. Anyone else feel this way or was I just expecting too much?

I don't like that you can't use it properly while solo. That's BS in my opinion.

 

If you all you want it for is jets though, I would go with getting the explosive sniper rounds. Every other aircraft is getting ruined so ground-only players can have them - they may as well be used.

Have you tried sitting.in the passenger seat and aiming? Like right mouse button. Because the aa trailer doesn't lock on until you hold aim.

Dunno bout that i was ambushing players yesterday and had a right good time the amount that were hiding in their MOCs thinking they couldn't be touched got a wake up call

Second, if you've got four players after you in Ghost Org mode, you can't rightly "cannon" them all at once, can you?

 

Third, "so" the assessment that the APC is "bullet resistant" isn't exactly accurate.

 

Fourth, yes, it's heavily armoured, but a single, well-placed pea pellet will end you via the front window.

 

Lastly, ramming other players is always more fun.

Also, I just parked this Regina I stole in front of one of those weird looking white utility trucks and gave the guy the middle finger for a few seconds. He flips me off too, and then just f*cking disappears. Have you ever flipped someone off so hard they despawned??

Rockstar should probably look up what "SAM Battery" means though.

I can try to predict a worst case scenario, which when talking about rockstar, is the likely one:

 

1- No armor, one explosive = dead

2- Weapons have to be "researched"

3- Handles like the savage or something

4- Stupidly expensive

5- Pilot probably won't be able to use weapons
