Are they actually kidding me right now? I've been on since the updates been out and put all my staff to research and I only got 2.2 things researched in over 12 hours. Right now I'm just dropping the 10 mil to fast track every upgrade. Anyone else think this is a joke for sharkcards or people to waste the money they grinded for?

I don't think it's a joke at all. A few things to consider:

 

1: Obviously any content they've released in the past few years has been aim at promoting Sharkcard sales.

 

2: There is a ton of money in the economy already, especially considering the rampant money dropping for the past few months. You just said you've decided to just go ahead and drop 10 mil on Research fastracking as if it were chump change.

 

3: People have too much of an instant-gratification outlook when it comes to game content these days. Even with buying shark cards, there is still some waiting and actual participation in the DLC missions and contracts in order to unlock certain things. Not only that, but you get a discount on the items when you do the missions associated with them.

 

Seems mechanically more reasonable than some of the past DLC's.

It's not exactly chump change for me, I'm spending a good majority of my money just to get these upgrades. Without the research most of this update is useless trash. Like the vehicles without being able to even add weapons to them when u already paid like 2 mil.

Do people not understand that's we didn't cry about not being at rank 90 for the sniper and 125 for the mini gun? When we did get there it wasn't rewarding... even if the research take s token toull get something cool over time. Yeah I agree it's very very slow but dumping your purse into the fast research option seems a bit boring
