so i can assign staff to either research or research and manufacture. if i set them to do only research is it done faster?

 

also, if i play missions does the research continue?

 

what do the upgrades actually do?

The upgrades make the vehicles/weapons what they were supposed to be from the start. It's basically a way of selling you a vehicle, neutering it, then selling you its balls back one by one.

 

If you assign them specifically to one thing, they'll do it quicker. Still pretty slow though, unless you pay the pretty hefty "fast-track" fees.

Allocating more staff to Research will give it a boost. You also get the option to completely speed up research on an item to completion once it makes a bit of progress and you pay $250k.

 

The bunker upgrades work similar to the MC businesses. Equipment, Staff, and Security to give better production time, quality, and safeguarding against raids.

 

Progression should continue so long as you're in a Freemode session.

 

What I don't like is that the staff seem to be the ones that select which items to research. I think you should be bale to select which items you want to research.

wait, this sh*t is free mode only? the f*ck am i supposed to do there other than get griefed by jets while the solo session glitch has been patched. so basically, find a rubber band or f*ck you.

You can also do Import/Export and CEO Crates. It will make you more money.

Money not spent doesn't give you anything. You're in a better position than most to own everything and unlock everything.

 

You can research for free, get supplies for free. It just takes a long time. What do you have more of, IRL time or in game money?

It's a method I found (hopefully), and it enables you to reset the new item that is researched with another (but still random) one.

Finally unlocked all research by fast tracking them all at a cool 225k a pop.

 

Weapons and vehicle upgrades are also damn expensive but really cool.

 

I now have a zillion different, yet very similar, camouflage's to choose from to add to bright metallic guns!!

 

At least the staff are now fully focused on producing Stock so I can start to see some money coming back in soon.

I was able to save enough money from ceo work and liquidating other assets prior to this dlc release to buy the bunker, MOC and the tampa. I bought all upgrades for the bunker and production rate is still painfully slow. Ideally used in combination with other money making options. As long as you are in freemode, your research and manufacturing will continue to tick. There are 45 research projects and a fast-track option once research has started on the current project. Fast-track automatically finishes off and unlocks the current research for 225k I believe. I spent the first day of release fast-tracking all 45 projects. My first project was the turrets for the back of the MOC. Third project was the missiles for the tampa. Most of the unique ammo for my guns unlocked in a cluster in the middle while the thermal scope for the heavy sniper unlocked at project number 41. I am impatient which is why I chose to use all remaining money to fast-track. My absolute only two complaints with this dlc is that the rate at which you get stock is either to slow or not worth enough money each tick and that once you unlock the special ammo for your guns, you can only carry a very small amount. A lot of people complain about the livery research upgrades, however, they do look pretty cool when you apply and shift the tints after you upgrade your guns to MK II. On a side note, it costs a little over 10 mil to fast-track every single research project if you do it as soon as research begins. Waiting for them to progress further into a research project lowers the fast-track cost on that specific project as well.

Was letting my character watch the security cameras at the clubhouse but I did it at the bunker now after realizing they're right beside the laptop
