So Pacific Standard helicopter got patched

^^ Doesn't matter; they remove the only legitimate vehicle (Armored Kuruma) designed by R* themselves for robbing banks from the heist, and guess what happens?

...players will continue finding new, easier ways to complete the heist.

R* clearly has no aptitude for learning that lesson.

NOOSE truck. Slow af but a guaranteed full take.

People still think the bikes are hard? Lol.

If the "one person runs down and blows up bikes" trick still works you shouldn't lose any money.

With players I know I'll do bikes. With randoms I make it as idiot proof as possible.

Dont care...bikes are easy.

Agreed. If you have a half decent team and crucially, don't shoot the cops, this is the way to go.

If you are playing with novices (who at least listen), this works fine too.

The way has been bikes since the kuruma was patched. Much faster without the pre-set up needed for the chopper. I am assuming that this means the civilian car for the run has been patched, too? I have made it to the boat with the full amount. The squishy mcnoobs trailing, of course, came rolling through in their swat van without hitting checkpoints, and died just as they entered the boat. Typical loss is between 7-20K, which is nothing.

The same as always. Bikes aren't hard for ME, but they are for that level 80 that thinks he's too good for the heavy vest.

This is about a 4 guy team, not about you or me. That's why all the tricks appeared in the first place.

First of all, regardless of team, you always have people that are inferior to the others, fact.

second, if the level 80 is to retarded to get a vest, just drop him out.

The same can be said about people that wanted Kuruma or helicopter. Drop them if you wanna use bikes.

I can do it with the bikes, just not so sure about my teammates, especially the last few months were so full of modders that a totally new guy can start the game at level 1 and go to sleep at level 300+ or so. So level is something that's not that credible, not to mention those guys who don't communicate, or don't know English.

This is why the trick and this topic exists guys, by now the civilian car works, so you can use it to rush to the bike with minimum chance of losing the money.

What about the heli on the police helipad by Vespucci?

I haven't checked it yet but last time I did that it spawns randomly, or I don't know the method to guarantee that it spawns ?

Edited by TienLP

Aww, the helo was good for the extra 100k payout but the bikes are fun.

Give it a week and someone will find a new way. This games got so many holes in it, you could use it like a tea bag.

The drunk method still work? I have'nt tried that way yet.

Darth, we need to do a drunk run before they patch it :D

Have also done this finale with players that "know all the tricks" and blab away on the mic. They get quiet by the 2nd time they fail. Nothing quite like waiting for one to go grab the chopper, land it, grab a car, rob bank, die upon exiting bank.

Had another one that "knows the leave glitch" screw it up and give us all a "heist member left" screen.

I prefer the times I actually complete it with quiet folks.

Here we go again with a heist thread and all the "holier than thou'crowd coming in.

You guys obviously are rich and don't do heists anymore,so let others get it done as best as they can.

The helicopter from the helipad by the marina IS the fastest, safest way to do it.It takes Less than 2 minutes or less even when you hit all the checkpoints.

Some of us do still grind multiple heists every day and don't always have friends on,so it is the fastest and easiest with randoms.

with high levels (150+) you really have to be on a bad day to go under 1200k. one guy takes money and tell others to cover. if the guys don't 'forget' to cover you. you won't loose money. no need kids swat trick, helis or other kurush. once on bikes go 1st, and don't shoot. glad they patched heli. all these lazy people made me depress a bit

That would work in a perfect world, unfortunately you must not play often because you would know that lots of people that join are kids, have no mic and may not speak or reply to you.

You can't sit all day waiting for perfect players.

If lazy means not losing money due to someone else's mistake then I'll embrace it.

that's the problem with all this patching, those aren't "holes". :) It's an open world game with vehicles spawning all over it. Sooner or later that heist will simply be us, our bikes and the cops. No traffic, no chances to change things up... Just as R* intended I guess. Edited by FlacidJack

so you play in a way you don't like because other people don't listen to you. it's easy take only 1 under level 50, never more. and say clearly cover me to others. adding the small sentence 'i'm holding your cut' helps a lot.

Next there gonna disable traffic and vehicles will despawn when you do that heist. All they have to do is make it time based like missions and give you half the pay for doing it quickly and give you the full payout for waiting 15 minutes at the end for the full payout just like missions. They just announced openIV is not allowed anymore even though it was allowed since 2008. They could delete the entire heist they have done so with missions. They could completely change the finale into a different thing entirely. They completely changed how you complete rooftop rumble multiple times and coveted. That heist finale has been more "exploited" than missions ever were.

Beating those missions were never "exploits". People quickly found out they could replay a massive paying out mission in 30 seconds and keep spamming it over and over again. Its rockstars fault people can beat all missions under 6 minutes and allowed them to replay them really quickly. And yet they completely changed how mission payouts worked.
