They made it obvious but here is one of the inspiration vehicle they used. I think you can beat some hydra with it since you can spam rocket and it's fairly quick... If you are just taking a stroll aside from using a plane it might be the fastest vehicle... Riko Kurosaki Posted June 14, 2017 Share Posted June 14, 2017 yeah since there was more rocket than the Ruiner 2000 I thought it was unlimited but I saw there was a limit after testing And you can take down hydra troller if they dont aim at you with rocket and use the cannon instead since rocket seems faster than the one on the buzzard... A few interesting things I have noticed: - The rocket recharge time is only about 4 seconds instead of 9 for the Rocket Voltic - You only have to touch the ground briefly to initiate recharge. This lets you "touch and go" and refire in the air at whatever angle or altitude you want. This lets you travel more safely (less time on ground for obstacle risk) and faster and with more directional control. The brief ground touch does not seem to cost much in speed if you are at full throttle when you do it. While the Voltic also only requires a brief touch, it's 9 second recharge and lack of glider wings makes it impractical to use this technique most of the time. - Another technique is to fire rockets while on the ground (at full speed with full lean forward), let the recharge cycle begin then lift off. This gives you another rocket firing at higher altitude than otherwise possible. Edit: after arming with the homing missles and playing some more this has to be the ultimate griefers tool now. Eqaulo Posted June 16, 2017 Share Posted June 16, 2017 We came up with the great idea: what if you take this bike up to 8100ft? It was a pain in the ass to find a way to take it up to that height and finally we managed to pull it off after a bit . Basically take a Vapid Contender, park the bike with the driver in the back of the Contender and EXTEND the wings, then pick up the Contender with the Cargobob and hold it steady up to 8100ft (maximum height), use the altimeter in 1st person. Once there open up the rear door of your Contender through the interaction menu and your friend can drive out and glide for a good while . You can pick up the bike with a driver on it with the Cargobob but for some reason he glitches off of it the whole time, it helps if the wings are extended but still glitches out after a while. We tried to put it in a boat, truck, other cars, everything we could think of. We've put it on top of big planes, left it under the cargobob with no driver and then dropped the bike and got out to try to get on it in the air while wingsuiting, nothing worked except for the Contender. It is easily worth it for me. but I can understand why some people don't like it. it is pretty unrealistic. but the way I figure it is as long as your having fun who cares. we play these games to have fun to enjoy. while sure I want the game to feel realistic which for the most part it is. I also have no problem with them adding some crazy over the top fun stuff too. like with the cunning stunts stuff. sure its not very realistic but it is fun. im not even a huge racing fan but I love those cool ramps and tubes and sound effects. its fun. some people didn't like that either. that's fine everyone has their own opinion. if you want a realistic race than do non stunt races or better yet play a realistic racing game. my point is yes gta has some crazy unrealistic stuff. but at the end of the day its just a video game that we play to have fun. of course everyone has their own version of fun. while you don't like the oppressor some of us do.
