I currently noticed something odd and had a closer look at it today: When I was going to my Alamo cokelab on my Oppressor, the rockets were suddenly locked on someone or something. Today I just fired a rocket to see what I would hit, but missed :/ Some NPC was running away and the lockon was beeping aiming at him. He did not drop a weapon or money on kill and when I came back later, the lockon was beeping again targeting another NPC. The location is this particular house:

It is on the right side before where the traintracks cross the road when heading to the cokelab from the clubhouse or methlab direction. The thing next to the guy is a baseball bat weapon pickup btw.

Npcs there sometimes turn hostile. Had the same blips with the Buzzard when doing Sightseer. If you hang around the house for too long they attack you.

 

The lock on is probably an oversight.

When I upgraded my Technical, my Oppressor disappeared again. I had the original problem with leaving my oppressor in the MOC and having it disappear and I figured that one out. I haven't figured out where my Oppressor went this time. I called Mors and no luck. I checked all my garages and no luck. I destroyed the Technical and no luck.

Try registering as MC President and seeing if it's on your list of bikes in the interaction menu.

Hmm, I didn't think of that......I'll do it when I get back in town from work. I've literally tried everything else I know and the damn bike is still MIA.

At first I thought the bike was silly and way too over-the-top for my tastes - I usually go for a more realistic playstyle. But then I had saved up some money on the side and was going to save it for the XA-21, but instead chose to let my 12 year old stepson purchase the Oppressor just for the lulz. Figured I already have a bunch of hypercars and don't really need another per se. Also the rockets had already been unlocked prior to the purchase, so I figured "what the hell".

 

I even mentioned, while typing a shoutout to R* containing various other input, that I thought the Oppressor was too much for my tastes, just to state my opinion. Fresh in my memory was the fact that someone had stolen my supplies while I was in an APC and he was using an Oppressor - he blew up my APC with some rockets, took my stash and then he was gone like the wind. My gunner must have been blind as sh*t for not seeing where he was coming from (hits came straight from behind us), but anyway.

 

However, having used the Oppressor for some time now, I can readily say it's one of the most enjoyable vehicles in GTA Online. The way it lets you glide and just touch any surface to reboost lets you feel almost like if you're playing Arkham Knight. It allows for a great sense of freedom. Until of course, you ultimately smash into a brick wall and fall face down onto the pavement, the bike being stuck on a rooftop somewhere in Downtown Vinewood.

 

It costs GTA$20k to replace, so just be careful not to land in water. Other than that it's rather hardy so as long as you're careful your bank balance shouldn't be drained because of it.

 

It is, of course, also very versatile and comes in handy when you need to fix for a quick getaway. I've never been much of a griefer so I can't speak for its usability compared to say, the Hydra, but it's certainly come to grow on me.

 

The Buzzard is still my go-to vehicle for traversing the map though, effin' love flying that bug-eyed thing.

If the URL you paste includes junk after the .jpg or .png or whatever, it throws that error. Just delete back to the filename.

Not a fan.

 

Just a silly novelty. I have the bike on both characters, got it via a give cars to friends.

 

Once I hopped around a bit, got bored. Haven't touched in weeks.

 

Just like so many other things in GTA:O.

 

Coleco was spot on that was a 'jump the shark' vehicle.

 

Stupid and really doesn't belong in GTA as a franchise.

FINALLY unlocked the rockets last night, took about 20 research unlocks to get it. It was my most wanted research item so I'm glad that's done. :cool:
