Holy crap, did the bullet go through Maze West?!

Sure seems that way, although the explosion does look like it's on this side, which just raises further questions.

Indeed it does. Either way, I gotta get me one of these! 🙃

Maybe it's just that guy :D

Srsly tho, that seems to be the sweet spot with range. More playing required. Gonna try with stock ammo.

Theres a sweet spot between when scope goes outta range and bullets stop and when solid walls visually remain but become non solid. Its the easiest way to kill "dug in like a tick" wallbreachers. This usually only works on consoles as PC walls render and become solid further than bullets will reach because PC has better graphics.

I get this, but the buildings go solid again after a certain range. I have tried plenty of times to find the max range of the ammo and the range where walls aren't solid, and past so far the walls work again.

In my gifs the guy really isn't that far away, like a block or so?

Ive seen you tube videos where they were on a building rooftop then shoot 2 blocks into the side of the building where somebody was in a wallbreach. It was with regular sniper rounds. Couple years ago too. Might have changed the graphics and wat not since then.

Anyways, I rarely get it to work myself. I agree with the walls goind solid again at max distance. Ive shot at things sticking way up in the air from half way across the city and never see the round actually hit so.....yeah its a sweet spot for sure. I wouldnt dought that sweet spot is just 10 or so feet at a couple blocks.

Another effective way to extract wall breachers, especially if their standing right next to the inside of the wall is 4 or 5 stickys.

Funny thing is I use to put stickys in a friends back while their in passive and he'd climb in and stand next to the wallbreacher. He'd holler "fire" and Id detonate them killing the wallbreacher without killing him. Think its patched tho.

You're not supposed to have any choice, it's supposed to be random.

You're not supposed to have any choice, it's supposed to be random.

I heard there was a way to manipulate it to get it to give you what you want...I know a method but its a long process

I was wondering if there are any other ways

M*A*R*I*N*A

I reverted all but the heavy sniper because they're seriously pieces of sh*t and a waste of money. it cost a fortune and takes forever to buy more ammo. you only get like 300 rounds

Makes for a better first-person experience, apparently.

Otherwise ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It also makes your character close their eye when aiming... so there's that too lol.

Haha, so they've got both eyes open for sights and scopes that you should have an eye closed for, but an eye closed when using holographic sights which (especially at shorter ranges) are a 'both eyes open' type of sight?

Nice work. :/

<Snipped>

Is it true that Assault SMG has no damage drop-off whatsoever?

Yes, but the amount of range required for the damage of other weapons to be reduced significantly enough to make this weapon worth it, is so great that you'd be using the Marksman Rifle and/ or other types of Sniper Rifle.

Alternatively, the Combat MG's power (either variant) won't get below 30 even at maximum range, so you may as well just use that.

I have a doubt, with the full metal jacket ammo would be able to traverse the armor of armored vehicles like the kuruma? Thanks in advance

I have FMJ in my SMG and AP in my MG, try saying that fast, and both have sent Kuruma drivers to my happy place just fine. I'm a little confused by the whole thing tbh.

That's what I figured, but pretty sure my Combat MG didn't used to kill Kuruma drivers.

Not very many people driving round with BP windows so FMJ is of limited use.

sh*t the standard MkII MG bullets shred enemy NPC Karumbas in like 2 seconds. Amazingly fast IMO.

Has anyone experienced their incendiary ammo acting like normal ammo? Seems to be another world famous example of Bugstar at work...

What do you mean by "acting like normal ammo"?

It's not supposed to set people on fire with every single bullet, if that's what you're thinking.
