I went with the Farmhouse bunker, it may be expensive........ But i wanted a bunker in the middle of the map. so no mater what mission i get, I wont have to travel from one end of map to the other trying to aviod other players.

I currently have the Smoke Tree location, and honestly I don't like it. Only positive thing about it for me is how close the Peggy spawn is. I really wanna be closer to the city. I'm debating on Chumash or Farmhouse. Farmhouse isn't that closer to the city compared to Smoke tree though.

Farmhouse Bunker. is 30% off this weekend.

Decisions...

I was in the oil fields and the sale made me think about moving to either the Farmhouse or Smoke Tree. I did a couple sales from my place and checked how long it took me to get to the Farmhouse with the sale vehicles, about a minute. I also did a couple sales by driving to smoke tree then seeing how long it took to get to the Farmhouse, about 40 seconds.

That time doesn't seem like much, but it adds up if you're moving multiple vehicles with not enough drivers. 15 minutes isn't long to sell a half full bunker with two insurgents while solo. My casual testing led me to believe I'd save 3 minutes by moving to the Farmhouse. (1 minute on taking the first truck down, 1 minute back, and 1 minute down with the second truck.) Even though I prefer to sell just a single load for $210k, this time savings seemed worth it for the times my product got beyond the single vehicle mark.

If you do want to move, I'd recommend doing the same testing for yourself. Do some sale missions and see how much time was used while you drive past the Farmhouse. It's on your way, anyway.

I purchased the Farmhouse location before seeing your message. It only costed me a little over $200k to trade in with the 30% discount going on right now for the Farm House location (didn't purchase the golf carts or shooting range though, not really needed).

I already love how your PV & buzzard spawns right outside the bunker. But I gotta do a few deliveries to see if it was a worth it upgrade for me, I'm pretty sure it will be.

I have Zancudo, nice to have Lazers ready when you run supplies.

I'm going with the ''Smoke Tree Road Bunker'' because of 2 things :

- 1) Near of Sandy Shores (Airport + Stores)

- 2) Near the spawnpoint of the '' Breakdown Recovery '' Special Vehicle Mission

(which can be used as a ''teleport'' if added alone in a playlist when you aren't in CEO or MC.)

I currently occupy the Thomas scrapyard bunker out in the lonely desert and i rarely encounter anyone else up there when im on...kinda envious of the route 68 bunker since my mc and its business are all located in walking distance but im fine because its not that long a drive.

I'm torn right now. I have the Grand Sonora Desert bunker with all features and upgrades, and I always buy supplies. But it is annoying to have to run to the road to call my PV. I do like it being close to the Hydra spawn. Also I'm usually in a solo session on PS4, so "high traffic" not a big concern. Recommend moving to Farmhouse or no?

I had the Paleto Bay Bunker first, but I got only missions in LS. 10km to the target and back. No way.

Then i bought the Farmhouse Bunker (for 30% less this week) and this is really great.

I bought this for my second character because I liked the look of the location, close to the airfield and second mine entrance. Terrible choice. Never pick a bunker more than a few metres away from a paved road, as it's a bitch for vehicle spawns, and getting underpowered supply vans back to your bunker.

I simply got the most expensive one. But well, the location is beautiful with the farm and all.

There are at least 4 bunkers closer to the airfield, 2-3 closer to Coke, and most of them have actual paved roads nearby. Raton canyon is sh*t.

^ Agree.

And on top of the missions, consider there's only 3 locations on the map with full-range Peg spawns, LSIA, SS airfield and grapeseed, so yeah I'm perfectly happy at Smoke Tree Rd.

Raton Canyon is a beautiful locale and seems a realistic spot for a bunker unlike most bunker sites in the map. The dirt roads and its somewhat obscure location definitely make some supply missions and travel to airfields a little more awkward but the location actually feels like a proper hideout for criminal activity, discreetly hidden by bushes and out of the way. It would feel wrong and be too immersion breaking for me anytime entering my bunker if there's main roads right next to it where my headquarters of illegal activities and all of its comings and goings are plainly visible to any and all who pass by.

Just like you think Raton Canyon is sh*t, I think your opinion is sh*t. If all you care about is immediate road and airfield access then have at it. A more authentic experience appeals to me more.

I think I'll just stay at Chumash and just buy supplies.

This is what I do for a living now 😂 Double cash on bunker sells still gives me a 345k profit every 2 hours or so. Even if I am not playing.

It's an ex-military bunker, not a petty criminal hideout. Easy access for heavy vehicles would have been essential. Also, since we're talking about realism, where do you go once you've entered the bunker? There's no room for a 180 degree turn, so in the all-important real life you'd just pop out of the cliff and end up in the river.

Paleto Bay is the ABSOLUTE BEST... strictly for a strategic aspect.... ONLY the Bay offers youb2 homes within close proximity, especially seeing how all the new bunker vehicles can be stored in a personal garage, you have 12 vehicles withing very close reach.

Not to mention, you can have your MC also within extremely close proximity, with one RIGHT NEXT DOOR to the Ammu Nation...(ps... the one closest to the bunker also provides excellent sniper positions and awesome ground fighting locations behind the MC.

There is ALSO the awesomeness of having your Yacht... Right there in the Bay offshore. I mean... come on... ya can go party at ya yatch while still watching over your whole empire from the ocean.

And as if ALL of this wasn't enough.... You still have all the resources you need right there also to customize your cars, new clothes, snacks, and theres SO MANY other things to do around the Bay... Not to mention theres not alot of strategic minded people in gta who actually go up to the Bay... dead alone make their Empire there.

Just My 2 Cents.

I think I love you for saying this about Raton Canyon.

I also went with Raton Canyon because it felt more "Hidden Bunker" then others that are in the open, Yes it's a long drive to everything, but it's a fun drive and the mountain sides makes perfect launching platforms for the Oppressor.

To be fair, the road down curves, so it runs along the side of the cliff until it ends up under water. Edited by Khaisz

Yesterday I had a "destroy truck" resupply within 5 seconds of my bunker (first truck), then a 25s jaunt to Redwood Lights racetrack for a technical, then an undefended Rumpo at the wind farm, so that's 5 units in probably less than 10 minutes :) Staying put.

I chose the Farmhouse bunker first for its proximity to the centre of the map.. I quickly realized its also the perfect start point to spawn a Sandking. I've been keeping an eye on the time whenever I'm through there. The king will pop up from 10am to 4pm game time. If your quick there is time to sell one and stack 2. I've been hitting this every chance I get to mitigate the staff costs and pick up a few extra bux.

I haven't seen it mentioned yet but its an awesome little perk for the Farmhouse. LSC is right beside where the sandking spawns. Very quick 18k if your there at the right time.

I do this all the time too. They actually spawn from 9-5 (09:00-17:00). I'll often grab one while on my way to my coke lockup. It's also good for spawning a few an filling up the route 68 garage if you start a time locked contact mission from that bunker before going AFK.

One downside I've run into at the Farmhouse is trying to drive the Phantom Wedge out of there. If you're not careful you can get stuck in the ditch to the right of the driveway. It's a pain to detach the trailer and hook it up to the MOC truck when the Wedge gets stuck and aim-bot cops are gunning you down.
