¡OK! What has Gunrunning (1.40) Changed?

Use to I could register as a CEO and start switching sessions to get a lobby to myself pretty easy. Seemed be registered as a CEO made it harder for the servers to find a lobby to put you in because each lobby will only hold so many CEOs. I usually got a quite lobby within 5 changes. Now they go on forever. Guess since gunrunning dropped everybody and their brother is trying to get solo public lobbies. Usually if I just wanna cut to the chase, I load up from the get go turning the console on (Xbox), with the LAN cable unplugged and load on WiFi. When spawning into a lobby its usually full. (And I got it set, by the way, to spawn me in bunker). After Im in bunker with a full lobby, just plug in the LAN cable, I get booted to a lobby alone (Lag out). Even this isn't working as reliable as it use to. Sometimes it comes up "Log back into Microsoft live. Returning to single player"

The Gunrunning sales missions include some NPCs in Dubsta 2s, so that's another new way to spawn the gold/chrome ones if you feel like it.

I think they patched that when you kick some one off the rocket bike from the interaction menu, it now boots them off the bike without warning. Meaning you fall and die if you don't have a chute while in a high altitude.

There was a dupe glitch that involved a friend on your oppressor so that may have been patched. You should always have a chute though, it gives you one same as aircraft.

The micro freezes/stutters are what caused vehicles to detach from my Cargobob (causing 0LDT1M3R to land upside down in a roof pocket in Chumash...), Gotta love how they stopped them from detaching, but I still get the lag freezes. Classic R*.

Have they increased the spawn frequency/locations of Tailgaters? I've found them at the racecourse and Rooftop Rumble/boat dealership car park recently, plus far more frequently at the golf course than usual. Even being on a Simeon list didn't make them particularly common.

Could be, although I was doing a normal contact mission, in the middle of recording, drove towards the Titan, the back windows are already down, we know this. But when I went in, the drive and passenger Windows shattered from normal NPC fire.

Oh, the windows have always shattered iirc, it's the metal that matters. The kuruma was released before BP windows were a thing.

Awesome, shame they reverted the Mallard.

 

They could at least have let me tow the AA with the Brickade. But at least now I can tow it with the blacklisted, North Yankton-only snowy Sadler!

It's supposed to be able to tow stuff, but Rockstar never gave it a tow hook so it can't. Same with BeeJay XL.

 

On the other hand, the Bodhi has a tow hook but it doesn't have any trailers specified so it can't tow anything.

I don't know if it came with gunrunning or if it's a bug, but escaping a 3 star wanted rating by using a garage won't give you daily objective credit.

It definitely seems as if Rockstar is making efforts to reduce, or even eliminate solo public lobbies. Before Gunnrunning, I could easily have my own lobby simply by logging into my router, and changing the MTU to either 800 or 900, and basically only my friends could join via invite. Now when I do that, I'll have my own lobby for a little while, and then suddenly 4-5 randoms will have joined in. Only by changing my settings again can I get my own lobby.

I believe so, always had a cool down for me if I request it too soon after putting it back in the bunker

I've noticed the NPC enemies in several of the supply missions behaving strangely. Like not moving, getting stuck, not attacking the player, etc.

Its on purpose

 

The complaints about I/E enemies really got to Rockstar

I did an appearance change on my first slot character then when I switched over to my main one on slot 2, I now have a permanent "SGT AT ARMS" badge on all my outfits :(

 

EDIT: another $100k and was able to fix it.
