alright so this is just a general rant type thing/i wanna see if anyone else agrees with me.

my problem with gunrunning is mostly how whenever you steal supplies, they give you 30 whole minutes. meanwhile, when you sell your stock, they only give you 15 minutes.

 

i like to wait until my stock is full to sell it so i can get maximum profit (i also sell to los santos). of course, this means it will take longer to transport all the weapons. i have never hired an associate in my organization to date (which y'all might think is stupid and say that will fix my problems but i don't like strangers + i don't trust them + i don't want to have to pay them lmao), so it is just me doing everything. and for the past two times i have sold my stock, i have had that mission where you have 3 or 4 vehicles equipped with 5 weapons/weapon boxes each and you have to go out and take them to the top of mountains and then when the vehicle is empty, you have to drive all the way back to your bunker and get another one and start all over.

the most i have managed to complete was almost 2 vehicles. and this is all due to the fact that they only give you 15 minutes!

 

i don't understand why they give you 30 minutes for stealing supplies. i have ALWAYS completed this in 15 minutes or less, but it's usually around 10. i feel like they should flip the time for stealing supplies and transporting the weapons. it's not really fair to those playing alone and transporting weapons, especially since if you don't manage to transport all the weapons, THEY DISAPPEAR! that's another thing that ticks me off. if another player hasn't destroyed the undelivered weapons and they're literally still sitting by the bunker, why do they magically disappear when the time is up?? acquiring stock takes SO long and i wouldn't mind it so much if i could actually successfully sell them on my own without any other players who will probably betray me and blow my stuff up anyway or if my undelivered stock at least returned to my bunker.

 

so there's my rant. just wondering if this ticks anyone off as much as it does me.

So sell at one vehicle then. Don't let your stock go above 175k and always sell at 140-175k.

 

You're not meant to transport multiple vehicles solo anymore, they made that very clear with Gunrunning.

 

Buy supplies for 75k or steal them until the bar is full and then wait 2 and a half hours or do other stuff meanwhile. Come back and that one full bar of supplies should have produced 140k of weapons for you. Sell them.

 

Repeat.

Profit doesnt change whether you sell at $210k or $1mil. I do my business stuff solo too and what I have found that works well is to sell at $420k (Los Santos). That is two full supplies worth and never more than two vehicles which can be done easily in 15 minutes.

The Dune FAV ones can be quite hard depending on where the drop-off points are when there's two and you're solo.

I agree the time limit is stupid. Why not join a CEO friendly crew to make lots of real money? They don't tolerate griefers at all.

Can't always do 2 delivery vehicles. I feel it always should be one delivery vehicle regardless of quantity.

alright, thanks y'all for this advice, it's really helpful. i have considered not waiting until it's full stock to sell and doing it at certain points but wasn't sure what those points should be. the ranges given will help tremendously. i guess it's just what us solo players have got to do!

All weaponized vehicles should be able to be stored and modded in the bunker, after all we do have a mechanic there (or is he only qualified to do the basic MOC modding?)

Even better: all basic customisation should be doable at LSC, or your office garage - regular paint jobs, performance upgrades, the usual.

 

After all, you can take a Faction into LSC and do all those things just fine, without having to give it the lowrider/donk treatment first - and heck, even when you have upgraded it at Benny's, you can still take it to a regular garage for conventional modifications.

 

And things like MOC-only camo patterns aren't an obstacle to that, because R*'s just demonstrated they can make it possible, with the Nightshark. You can do all the usual upgrades at any mod shop - only the camo schemes require an MOC, so if you're happy just sticking to regular block colours, you can get a fully-upgraded custom Nightshark without needing a Bunker or MOC first.

 

...and yeah, the fact that the current system means that you have to own and MOC, and have to kit it out with the custom vehicle workshop module, is bull - renders all the other MOC options a waste of time. IMO, the MOC should basically serve as a convenient mobile extension of your bunker, with bunkers also being able to cover the same stuff. But then, that'd mean fewer people having to shell out the extra $1 million+ for it, wouldn't it? :p

This is why my bunkers are either shut down or I didn't bother initiating the whole set up.

 

The bullsh*t wasn't worth it.

 

Macrotransaction content. Waste of time.

 

Edit: Looks like the interest in this DLC has dropped considerably. Can't say I'm in tears over it. The DLC is a disgrace.

Is the Technical Custom about as useless as the one in the Supply mission? I'm going down the freeway on the way to my bunker, and of course the enemy A.I chasing me a good distance away. Yet even through those small slits, me swerving left, and right, and them being far back. They can still pelt me with ease and I die in a matter of seconds. Might as well just make it a topless truck.

Kuruma has better protection against NPC than these two.

Gunrunning has some cool stuff like Mark II weapons but I don't like lots of things about it. #1, why the hell does it cost $20k when you destroy a vehicle like the APC like WTF??? Also, I don't agree with gunrunning vehicles being "personal vehicles" in a garage (well, some of them). It should be called from Peagus like all other things like the Rhino Tank. It's plainly stupid! #2, more tools for the griefers who think they're so MLG (or good) because they killed us but actually used explosive bullets, APCs, etc. It will be very nice seeing REAL gun fights back. We don't need more tools for them! I bump into them here and there but it's just frustrating and annoying when it happens but hey, they're scrubs anyway if they have to use those methods LUL. It has seriously ruined the balance of freemode. #3, let us pick what we want to research! I really don't like how it's random because it might be something for a vehicle that you don't have or camoes (they're cool but there are WAY important things to research instead). Sometimes, i don't get on GTA all the time because I play other games, so let me pick what I want to research.

My coke biz froze up while also doing gunrunning. I did 4 supply fetch missions and bought full supplies, never showed up at all, supply bar empty. I logged off and online, didn't work, had to shut off system and reboot. R* constantly effs people like us out of a few hundred K here and there.

Filling up FIVE warehouses. Holy crap! My eyes hurt at the idea of that time investment. I don't have that level of time to invest (or waste) in the game. I/E with a nice appetizer of Elegy Retro Customs a couple times a day take care of my finances pretty darn good.

 

Not playing much anymore. The game stopped evolving and is now microwaving mechanics under shiny new expensive pixels. The single biggest asset - story mode - is completely ignored for macrotransaction generating content.

 

Depthless. Not interested in a game that does this to me:

Think this is silly why we need rocket motorbikes and mobil operation center? You cant spawn at them.

Why need a bunker no nukes is avalible :barf:

And the research is sh*t cant select what i want.

 

It's the same with motocycle club and SEO sh*t missions and repetetiv missions and the supplise is sh*t! I hat it!

The Dune FAV must be the most useless piece of sh*t going. Why the f*ck would anyone use this to transport weapons when it's not even 4wheel drive? On a single sale mission it got stuck 3 f*cking times, and I never even made the final 2 checkpoints after it got jammed a third time about 10 feet from the drop off.

 

Luckily for me the servers a horse sh*t too so the game didn't even sync when I failed the mission and didn't use any of my supplies.
