In my last 8 bunker researches are the opressor rockets, thermal scope, the cool thing with rockets for the apc, and the 8th last thing is the extended barrel for the sniper researching right now. The dual miniguns for the tampa were made just 2 or 3 researches ago. Damn R* really knows how to save the best for last.

I think when you consider the lengths people will go to to avoid others players in an mmo, and the fact I've been playing this game for the last 6 months completely solo (because it's easier and more profitable) it speaks volumes about how broken this game really is...

The Insurgent Custom has a first person view despite its slitty windows and chunky pillars, but you're stuck with hood cam for the APC, which actually has quite a large area of flat rectangular glass.

That's just it - they didn't even do a full update of the GTA IV model, compared to previous 'ports' from GTA IV, like the Tampa.

I love the APC, but damn if it doesn't feel a little awkward. It drives kinda weird, like... it's almost as if the wheels are securely mounted in place without any suspension to speak of. Like, when you turn a hard right, it just f*cking turns as if god himself is turning it, the APC is a heavy vehicle, right? why doesn't it lean to the right or left at least a little when you're doing sharp turns?

Yet even through those small slits, me swerving left, and right, and them being far back. They can still pelt me with ease and I die in a matter of seconds. Might as well just make it a topless truck.

You guys don't know? The armor is just pieces of styrofoam painted to look like metal, I saw a technical custom being made once.

They must have changed certain things of this DLC in the last minutes. This becomes quite clear with things like the interior of the Torero which is advertized as bein customizable in the respective news but there are also other things like resized camos as the following example shows.

Gunrunning stock should be worth 5 or 4.5 million not just a million. It takes 6 hours to get 2.2 million from crates. But thats helping the player so nah can't have that.

Remember that the bunker is passive income. A full bar of supplies makes you like 100k stock and you can be afk while the crates need your constant attention to make profit

That's ...not necessarily a bad thing, actually - at least, not when the actual in-game version resizes the camo pattern so that it's smaller on the vehicle (i.e., the blobs are smaller).

 

Smaller texture details like that suggests that the in-game version hasn't been 'blown up' when applied to the vehicles, which makes the texture look 'zoomed in', and with more visible pixellation. In other words, the in-game texture is probably at the correct size, whereas if R* released it with the camo texture up-scaled like in the loading screen ad, it'd probably look noticeably worse than it actually does. Or something like that.

Well, I mention it because that kind of upscaling/quality degradation actually happens with the clothing - same camo patterns, but on some items, the prints are smaller and crisper, while on others, the prints are blown up larger, and are lower quality as a result.

 

(also, there's a similar bug with some of the decals/liveries/etc. on things like the Sultan RS - the close-up, full-detail, best-quality version is a 2048x2048 image IIRC, but for some vehicles, the highest-quality version is the middling 1024x1024 resolution version, which should only show up when you get further from the vehicle, but for some reason, the game can't/won't load the original-quality file)
