Remember folks it's not the weapon that makes the difference, it's the man/woman pulling the trigger. I honestly don't think that these weapon upgrades will change ground combat too drastically. Odds are a skilled player with less money and stock weapons will beat someone less skilled with new weapons. But when they're being used by highly skilled players, the results will be devastating. But if you wanna be competitive, you gotta pay the price.

The glitch where it makes your vehicle catch on fire when sourcing a vehicle in a solo session hasn't and probably won't be fixed. Happened to me 3 times in a row.

I hate they took away the damn coke supply glitch

Haven't played the game since then

It sucks bad

Well, it seems that they have one the extra mile to not allow you to sell guns solo, i'm watching a video on Youtube, unless there's a mistake or a bug, you won't be able to sell a full bunker solo.

EDITS:

Just when i thought that they at least gave you decent vehicles to do the sales, they force you to deliver from more than one vehicle to progress the sale, so basically, bye solo gameplay.

When i saw that you get $1.050.000 on a full bunker which (fully updated) takes 3 hours and change to fill i thought Ok, maybe after the HUGE upfront costs this may not be thaaaat bad, they proved me wrong

OK, so you now have to deliver guns from each sale vehicle to the same checkpoint in order to unlock the next one, solo play is dead.

I've tried hard to enjoy this update but I just can't, there's a few cool additions and ideas but most of it is just terribly done and very frustrating in the way it's handled. Most of my complaints have been covered here already, but here goes.

The new "Research" is easily the worst feature in my opinion, I mean you can't even choose which items to research first, what a load of nonsense. There's nothing fun about the research, it's just tedious and frustrating. Why not just let us buy or customize the items we wish too, instead of this utter rubbish?

I know why they've done it, because they know very well that players will quickly get frustrated with this BS and end up dumping potentially millions into the "fast-tracking" fees to reach the item they actually want, rather than having to deal with the ridiculously high waiting times.

Also, I login today to buy some supplies to quickly get a bit of research done, yesterday the cost was $15 000, which seemed very reasonable. Today, the cost of this has shot up to $75 000, what the f*ck?

No new weapon skins or anything at all for the standard Ammu-Nation weapons. They could've at least added maybe 2 or 3 camouflaged / Military style paintjobs for them, that just seems very lazy and half-assed.

The "drip-feeding" of content has returned again. I wish they'd return to the old method of releasing it all at once, the updates were much more enjoyable in my opinion when you could view all the new content on release day and choose what you want to buy when the update was still fresh.

And of course, as usual almost everything in the update is a massively expensive money sink in general. This is easily the worst major update so far in my opinion.

I was really excited about this update, but it's just been a massive disappointment.

I spent hours in the bunker gun range unlocking all 18 stars 3 for each of the 6 weapons.

The first tier star for each gun unlocked the metallic gold and platinum tints for all Mk II weapons.

That sucked me in to try to get 2 stars on all 6 weapons. I did and it unlocked +5 increase to my throwables (i can now have 30 sticky bombs, teargas, grenades, molotovs)

So naturally I was determined to get 3 stars on the 6 weapons to get that unlock and see how cool it was. You know what I ended up getting for all 18 stars at the gun range?? Check this out :barf:

- Caps x3 - Tees x6 - Hoodies x3 Not like i was expecting something epic like crew colors weapon tints or anything badass. f*ck you rockstar! All this work and for what you c*nts. f*cking ugly clothing items? You bastards!

I have all the weapons upgrades and its really not even that great to be honest. I mean the bullet limits suck and I hate that I have to have the weapon center in my MOC now just to buy bullets for a couple guns. The attachments are ok but I think the bullets are silly. I only use special bullets on my sniper and I am about to just go back to the regular ones, the others are not necessary in my opinion.

On another topic this update while I do like it sure has brought all the azzhats out. Today I was ambushed just leaving my bunker by two turds in an insurgent who also planted mines all around. I play with a few friends so we made them leave the lobby but it was just unnecessary.

Guys you know those tunnels in the bunker are for the guns, right?

I honestly thought some people would know that this is the reason why we cant have cars in there

Yes I think people know that. The point is that is a lot of tunnel for the stock.

Arrows to Athens

To be clear, i think nearly everything in this DLC content wise is great (except explosive rounds), my problem is how everything is behind a big pay wall. But at least the living quarters are a reasonable price for the Bunker, instead of close to $800K for the Office living quarters.

That's the whole point. Updates like these are designed to quickly drain your cash in return for cash card sale boosts. If you were to examine the sales of cash cards right now, I can almost guarantee you that sales were substantially higher after the release of the update than before the update, and it makes sense, and that's what Rockstar wants.

Just heard something that broke my heart.

I was in a party chat with a friend while he was doing one of the Gunrunning resupplies. And everything was going wrong for him.

Apparently he had NPC armoured kurumas chasing him while he had to drive a slow van.

They kept killing him and he kept raging in anger.

But that was nothing compared to him finally getting to his home base, and seconds before he turned the van in, a player blew him up.

He yelled at the top of his lungs so much that it hurt my ears,

"WHY!? WHY. WHY. WHY. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHCKK!!!!"

I didn't know what to say. But I asked, "What happened?!"

He stayed quiet for 5 minutes.

Then he calmly said, "I'm done. I'm f*cking done with this game. I'm selling it tomorrow. I paid for a bunch of nonsense Bunker and MOC crap and I feel like I can't make ANY profit. I can't go into any solo lobby because f*cking Rockstar wants me to deal with these dicks in Freemode who blow up my stuff RIGHT BEFORE I'M TURNING IT IN."

Then he quit the game application. Somehow, he accidentally restarted it and he yelled, "WHY ARE YOU RESTARTING, I DON'T WANT TO PLAY YOU GOD DAMN IT. AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Then he abruptly left the party chat and turned off the game.

I haven't heard from him since.

Wanna know why?, because C* just realized that they just want money, no matter what, so they sold their soul. Guys, GTA franchise as we know it is dead, it's just this GTA flavored version of Candy Crush what's left, man, i wouldn't have bought my ps4 pro if i knew that this was going to sh*t this quickly.

Of course it is sad, watching how they turn one of the best (if not THE best) franchise on gaming into a repetitive microtransaction-driven piece of trash is really sad, especially if no other games really appeal to you, that's what happens to me, i no longer want to play this game, is boring, it makes no sense, is repetitive, in game content makes no difference, it's all about make money, spend money and i don't really like any other game.

You know, it would be nice if I could get on and play.

3 disconnects almost as soon as I get in the game, then it takes 10 minutes to get back in. This game is just too much of a goddamn hassle. They're still raking in billions and can't fix this.

EDIT

And then I steal supplies for the bunker, and the supplies don't even show up in the supply bar...

God f*cking damn this game

It's sad it's come to this, when there are SO many more possibilities. I've always thought they could make such a beautiful, creative Underwater DLC since the ocean is so vastly detailed (even the sunken UFO is visible online) but nobody is ever down there! All we have is a slow submarine with annoyingly limited spawn points. Forget rebreathers, give us the scuba diving suit from Story mode, some underwater money checkpoints, objectives, weapons, new boats, submarines, sea sharks, etc. and you've got something fun and innovative.

This is just an example. But no, all we get are these same templates of resupply/sell with difficult missions where you *need* teammates to back you up, otherwise get obliterated by the endless D-bags in the session. But then no good friend wants to help because these resupply/or even the selling missions hardly pay squat, so it's not worth it for them.

Come up with a NEW structure to missions, a new template where it doesn't feel like the same sh*t, only a different toilet.

This update is a re-skin of the Biker update. For manufacturing guns you only sell them for only for 1 mil. Even CEO crates paid better than this sh*t.

Just focus all of your supplies on Research, or, if you have the money and won't mind a big dent on your wallet, fast track all of the research to get all the upgrades in one go to get ahead of everyone else. It's the only reason you should get a Bunker, really.

This.

If you're purchasing a bunker only for the option to make more money, I got some bad news for you.

And it's true, even CEO crates are more profitable - and that really says something.

Bunker = Research, MOC, and customizable war machines. Nothing else. Profit? Naaah, forget about that. ~7 hours of passively generating money (with supply runs) is around a million - and you can easily get a million if you do a 3-hour VIP Mission streak. Or sell Sourced Vehicles for that matter.

I only do the supply runs for unlocking the Special Missions for each respected vehicle, and that's it. After I've unlocked the Shooting Range challenges and all Research, I'll shut down my Bunker.

And the Biker DLC was a reskin of the crates one, just like I/E was, guys, is the same game mode differently themed, but it's the same, they just made this last one extremelly expensive, even more disruptive to FR, and went the extra mile and made obligaroty multiplayer, so this is the same as before, but worse

Yup. Cash grab that's all it's evolving into. Macrotransactions, paywalls, designed to bilk you - the list goes on. Evolving the game isn't really on the radar. Just make those monies for T2.

What's annoying it's really killed the content. All these last several DLCs have been the same mechanic and set up with different interiors. It all serves the macrotransaction beast. Waste of a wonderful franchise.

So just sell under 200k shipments. You get one vehicle every time. You don't get any bonus profit by selling full 1mil shipment vs 5*200k shipments.

I play solo and just steal supplies until the bar is full and start doing I/E and vip work. When the bunker staff have used all the suplies you can sell for 199.xxx$ using just one vehicle.

It could really be a massive DLC. It doesn't have to be tedious like the Crates, Bikers and Gunrunning businesses were handled. Hell, I'd be fine if an underwater DLC doesn't even present new business properties. We already have too many. I'd be fine with just new gear, weapons, sea vehicles, etc. They could even finally add animals and sea life, with the addition of a harpoon gun or something.

To make money, we could have ordinary freeroam events such as underwater cash checkpoints, or if you want to make big money, we could, I dunno, find something akin to underwater treasure boxes and sell them for profit. No need for a "resupply and sell" model.

I'm just spit-balling here. It could be anything, doesn't have to be underwater themed. But SOMETHING to counter the mundane world that is now the resupply-and-sell structure for all these various businesses. It's all too much of the same thing with no real incentive to try one more than the other.

Bunker is utter garbage, pointless piece of sh*t. Wish MOC was a separate option. Then again none of those guns that are customizable interest me. 6 f*cking guns, really R*? What`s the point adding 6 random guns?

Atleast do polls on social media on which 6 guns should be added to MOC.

Pay-out for f*cking GUNRUNNING IS UTTER JOKE. I AM TRADING f*ckING HIGH LEVEL GUNS, IT SHOULD PAY AND CHARGE UP TRIPLE FOR THE AMOUNT OF WORK I DO AND TIME I SPEND ON THAT SH*T!

I regret buying every single thing that I bought in this update, especially that f*cking bunker. The only saving grace is that it has unlocks, otherwise it would be completely utterly pointless. I thought Gunrunning would be better, but NO! Its just a reskin of the same BS as before.

ANOTHER THING, The game is again, completely f*ckin broken just 3 days after the update, BIG FU*K YOU R*!

B*tching and moaning over from my side.

Minor B&M:

If you buy the Halftrack, it should come with the same electroshock doors for unapproved players that the Halftrack in its mission has.

If I have my vehicle-access set to No One or Friends or Crew then random players should get tazed when they try the door/gun and not just shake the handle.

And you only unlock a couple of bog-standard hats and clothes after completing tier 3 for all 6 guns, which are ridiculously hard, and then they have the audacity to dripfeed us with the new vehicles AGAIN! And to make matters worse, they add guns to the sports classics cars, or at least one of them.

They just don't care.
