Technical Custom Discussion Thread

Is it still grossly overpriced?

What am I asking for... it's GTAO. Of course it is.

At least we will be able to fit it with BP tires now though right?

Actually it already has BP tires since some patches ago...

Drove a modified one in a refill job, thing had plates all over the windows but the armor didn't last long, it was overall pretty meh.

I think it's a drip fed version of the Technical.

I hope so, because I've wanted the Insurgent Pick-Up but didn't bother buying it due to not being able to customize Pegasus vehicles.

I've been hearing "drip feed" around, but what does it actually mean? From context I'm gathering that it means they're leaked upcoming vehicles that have files in the latest update but will be added for purchase later(like the Turismo Classic and Infernus Classic were). Is that correct or is it something else?

So we have to buy it all over again to do this? f*cking R*

No, you don't. Once you have it as a Pegasus Vehicle, you have to pay a small fee of $142.500 to make it a Custom :)

Really? Where?

Your MOC will act like Benny's - you can pull in a Technical/Insurgent Pick-Up called from Pegasus inside, and convert them into their Custom versions. Please note that this will make them a Personal Vehicle, and not a Pegasus Vehicle, so you need to have space in your PV garage.

Still dripfeed, unfortunately.

We gotta waity waity :/

Damnit Rockstar

Oh well, at least my Insurgent Pick Up will finally be put to good use after about 2 years of sitting in Pegasus whipe forgetting I ever even bought that thing. Like i dont remember buying that thing except on PS3 but that was after the account transfer. Got modded money on PS3 during Heists and bought the pick-up. I have no idea why or when i bought it on PS4. So im assuming probably 2 years ago

It seems like the Insurgent Custom and the Technical Custom upgrades will be drip-fed along with all the other currently unreleased vehicles.

Yes. These vehicles are, in fact dripfeed vehicles. They'll arrive together though, according to the hashed message, which Fun posted somewhere in the Next DLC thread.
