Cosmic Gypsy
Maan, wtf did Assassins Creed just do? I was havin mad fun spending ages infiltrating some temple and freeing people on a side quest, doing really well, killing mad guards all stealthy, then out of nowhere, i go to kill this guy and the game just cuts to a cut scene where i face off with some old guy in darkness, then put into a loading screen and I'm taken miles away, time of day changes and everything, forced into a hunting mission with 2 f*ckin kids? Wtf man. El Dildo
chronic lumbago
@post above You finished a main quest by killing that guy, which puts you into a flashback sequence. The old guy you faced off was the guy you just killed. Sorry to hear you accidentally confused yourself. Hope it makes sense now. Cosmic Gypsy
Damn I'm so uninterested in this mission/cut scene. Kinda pissed off i wasn't allowed to just finish my side quest in peace. Whats a main character like that doing in the walls of a side mission I've been on for like 30 minutes just sleeping on the damn floor? Spawned in town upon completion, ugh. It's pretty easy to kill a main target in the game if you're not paying attention, happened to a lot of people I've seen playing the game for the first time. Especially since enemies this time around do their own thing (sleeping, sitting down, on post, etc. etc.) Edited November 2, 2017 by Dbzk1999
chronic lumbago
But didn't Senu recognize him as a target? I admit, I almost screwed up myself and was doing the same side mission like you did. When I found out that NPC is my target, I quickly rounded up my side quest and moved on to do some other stuff first before returning.
El Dildo
yeah it's not a big deal. as far as I can tell, this 'mistake' will only happen to people once during the very first targeted assassination. he accidentally killed the first main target so it triggered a cutscene. but as soon as the cutscene is over you can fast travel back to where you left off and finish up side quests in that area. you haven't missed anything. rtie, MrBellicLC and chronic lumbago
darthYENIK
New update. https://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/1778695 Seems they fixed up photo mode, made it a bit more user friendly, gave you the ability to tilt the camera, and adjust colors. They also fixed the wonky grid that was off center. Edited November 3, 2017 by darthYENIK El Dildo
Edward Nashton
So I finally finished Wolfenstein 2 and I jumped right back to this. But I just encountered a bug ( I think?) I was doing a side quest for this merchant kid, retrieving some stolen merchandise from some compound, I stealthily took out most of the guards and fought the rest with the help of a captive lion I let loose and when everyone was dead I walk up to the box and a notification tells me I can't interact with it while I'm in combat. I sweep the area, no one's alive - I hide for a few minutes in a pile of leaves, nope still in combat mode - I leave the area and come back, nope. I had to restart the game and do the mission all over, which is irritating because I took my sweet time doing it the first time and it played out flawlessly, like an action scene in a movie. Anyway, is this common, has anyone experienced this glitch? I hope it's just a rare bug I ran into.

El Dildo
So photo mode, eh? yeah it's already become a sickness. chronic lumbago
is there a way to get the beard version of bayek back later on?Yes, it's actually a cheat code!! Go to your gear. Press L2/LT + Triangle/Y to changr hair. Press R2/RT + Triangle/Y for beard. Not available on PC yet. This was actually not an intended feature as a reddit user asked Ubisoft how to do it on PC. There's no key for it on PC yet, but I believe they will add it sometime soon as players like the feature. Are we there yet? I noticed that leopards follow you "forever" and don't turn aggressive like lions. Edited November 3, 2017 by fashion

I just tried it on my PC, I'm playing it with an Xbox One controller and it works just as you say it should. Long hair, no beard. Short hair with beard. rtie
El Dildo
it's only a "bug" if you're stuck using keyboard and mouse. there's no control button that you can map in the options for Bayek's hair, but anyone using a controller will have 'triggers' appear on the Gear menu to change hair the same way you change hoods. HaRdSTyLe_83
sucks for pc history will repeat it self, that always happened with all Denuvo "protected" lmao games, even if Denuvo games get cracked in hours anyway. my bet is they will drop Denuvo in a few weeks. Edward Nashton
^^ I haven't noticed any performance issues on my PC, i7 4790k. I'll check the CPU usage when I play later today. chronic lumbago
Ubisoft already responded to this and said it had nothing to do with Denuvo and that it's simply a performance heavy game. I'm not defending them though, just saying what they said.

El Dildo
sucks for pc speak for yourself I haven't had any noticeable performance issues. but my machine happens to be a beast so maybe it only affects outdated processors. so far the only time my game seems to slow down a little is when I've got a torch lit inside a cave and I'm free running. the dynamic lighting and shadows get pretty heavy. to be honest I'm surprised at how well the game runs in general. any time of day or night. in the city or out in the desert. diving underwater or flying the eagle as high as it will soar. fighting one guy or chasing a pack of enemies on horseback. being surrounded by like 8 hyenas. it's been pretty smooth. Origins feels really well optimized on PC which is something you couldn't always say for AC games across multiple platforms. Edward Nashton
Bayek looks like a convict with the full beard and shaved head lmoa Full hair + beard + no hood is the way to go. To me he looks too "modern" with the shaved head and beard, he looks just like one of my neighbors that way. I just stick with the standard shaved head and no beard look, I imagine this was more of a traditional look for ancient Egyptian men. chronic lumbago
tbh, Scarab's identity was kinda predictable.I just started going after him after exploring the surrounding areas. After almost 30 hours, still quite early in the game. I don't know how people don't get distracted and do no side quests and finish the game in 20 hours. I took 265 screenshots now. Check Ubi club for your game stats. Temple of Horus was incredible, the location itself, surrounding locations, the lore, side quests, everything.
