LazlowsucksiloveslutS
I don't know why this happens. I turn antialiasing off in options and every time I start the game again it resets antialiasing to 8x every time while all other settings (draw distance, anisotropic filtering) stay as I previously set. It is one of the worst pc ports ever, yes but is the game supposed to run with 8x aa by default? 8x aa is too much for my taste and it is annoying to change setting every single time I start game. Leone Family
Dude... you're insanely lucky to have a PC that supports the game because the PC port of Scarface is absolute sh*t. It totally isn't "future proof" by 2006 standards so making it work on a modern PC is, 99% of the time, impossible. So I suggest you forget anitaliasing because seriously, you're already super lucky to have it in working condition so don't ask for the moon! Personally, after trying to make Scarface work on PC for years and even getting my OS corrupted by the glitchiness of the game (yes, it went as far as corrupting Windows 7!), I gave up and bought the PS2 version 14 months ago. It is now my favorite PS2 game of all time Edited June 10, 2017 by Leone Family Audi

chronic lumbago
I can't help you with that, but I can warn you of another issue. I played the game waay back when I was young and remember that your scarface mansion had a serious issue with disappearing furniture that you can place. I played it on PS2 and didn't look into it on the net but since you're on PC, I highly recommend to look up whether this issue has been patched or if there's a mod that fixes it. Have fun! I'd love to replay it someday though I don't own a PS2 anymore. I might try playing it on my sh*tty laptop sometime..
kBlaise
It might become playable in the Xbox backward compatibility program soon (providing possibly the best solution to play it on a modern machine). Mister Pink
LazlowsucksiloveslutS
There are numerous ways to get Scarface working: 3DRipper, ThirteenAG's fix. and then there's an updated and fixed version courtesy of nosTeam. I used to play it on PS2 too 10 years ago and it was much better on console anyway. This game was clearly not made for PC. Didn't these cocksuckers test the game at all? Say what you want about Rockstar's PC ports but at least they are playable, more or less. I don't have a PS2 anymore either that's why I decided to try it on PC. i finally gave up on this sh*t. Since "D" key on my keyboard is unresponsive and I can't rebind movement to arrow keys, driving became really difficult.

Dream on. Games like this don't make it to such programs. Game was playable for me in 2007 already on 1 CPU 256 MB GPU 512 MB RAM. It made the graphical glitches less worse but it still made the game crash and I was actually using it when it corrupted my Windows 7 OS.
Presidential
Was never able to get it to work after Windows 7 and even on 7 it took days to get it working right.
