I have $47m but I tend to stick more to buying the essentials. I'm sure I'll purchase a lot of the weapon customizations but don't see myself buying too many of the special vehicles, unless they serve a useful purpose and enable me to do things I can't do already.

The APC might take a sh*t ton of rockets like the insurgent does with Ruiner rockets. Not to mention the standard APC's Cannon will probably knock the Ruiner around if it has the Valkyrie cannon on it. If not, the insurgent does the job against Ruiners.

i'm a griefer sure but i use it for everything else too. it's the fastest vehicle in the game, has the most firepower, can dodge missiles, can tank a missile and is only threatened by other jets. it also spawns everywhere.

 

it's great for most of the mc ceo missions, for several free mode events, for vehicle collections, for protecting friends doing anything in freeroam, and for transport. in fact a lot of my griefing starts when someone homes me while i'm just flying by.

 

that said, you can still use your hydra with a few SAMS about, just fly low or high enough, i doubt they'll be much worse than homers and they'll have an icon.

I think Import/Export 2 looks pretty sh*t so far. No new cars. The trailer gives everything away and I guess there are already 2 million trailer breakdown videos, sad thing is, only two things were not known yet. The ugly ass Insurgent/Contender baby (which will be more than likely as armored as the Contender) and thermal scopes. Yet everyone is suddendly super excited for the fourth time they'll receive the same f*ckin update. Wow. R* is clearly lying by saying Gunrunning will be profitable. It will be as profitable as Bikers and FaF. You have to play the same sh*t over and over and over and over again in order to make your investment back.

 

It's obvious the I/E special vehicles and what we gonna get now was made at the same time, nothing is going to be OP, nothing but the new bike will ever get used in freemode. Or have you seen any Armored Boxvilles aside from Fortified? Will be the same for the other sh*t. The MOC and the Ruiner 2000 were meant to be together - but you'll probably won't be able to drive it in.

Only useful thing is the thermal scope. A bunch of noob vehicles and a huge money drain. If you leave enough time between those updates, people forget it's nothing but a reskin and shark card sales increase again.

After almost four years in the game you can still fight Merryweather - but this time with miniguns and rockets. Wow. How original.

I'm definitely one of the people not jumping on the hype train for this one. I understand the excitement but we've seen this recipe from Rockstar before. You'll have to purchase a bunker, provide the staff with supplies to create "product" and eventually make some sort of a sales run. It'll have all the same bullsh*t cool down timers as CEO, Bikers and I/E and its profitability will be controlled by Rockstar (can't have you making more money than they want you to make). The cutscenes are likely to be part of "mini heists" that, once played by the early adopters, will not be touched again...just like special vehicle missions or the god awful Lamar Missions. The new toys will boil down to one or two worthwhile purchases while the rest will be fodder for your bank account. In a few months you'll start seeing posts like "do you still use your MOC" once the novelty wares thin and people realize moving the damn thing around is pointless in a public lobby full of try hards rolling around in their new armed toys. Jet griefers will be A-OK as I have little faith Rockstar "balanced" anything and it's likely they only succeeded in making it that much harder for a helicopter to be anything more than a useless death trap.

 

Don't get me wrong, it looks fun...I'm just expecting more of the same.

You will need a bunker to upgrade weapons. Get to grinding, youve got plenty of time to knock out another 500k

So the dude who was pretty much shot down and told he was a fake when he listed practically everything correctly about this update back in December was right then...

Not at all.

He had a vague idea about the concept, and kinda predicted some vehicles, like the APC.

 

But most of it was actually not true.

 

 

Not at all? While I can't be bothered to find the post (since it will probably just get shrugged off with a "not at all" or some other BS) it was more than a not at all.

Bunkers, new attachments etc. etc. were all mentioned. While we don't know every vehicle in the update, some of these were also correct. Bearing in mind this was 6 months ago and things can change/be cut.

 

He was more right than wrong yet so many were very quick to throw down the "fake" reply.
