Hello, and welcome to the twelfth issue of the GTAForums Weekly newsletter! We've had a bit of interesting things happening lately, so let's dive right into it all. To start us off, Round Three of the GTAF Snap Battle began a few days ago! The top scorers across all platform polls have been tossed into one big poll to see who will come out on top. As of now, it's still a bit of a close match up, with single digits separating first and second place contestants. The winner, or winners, depending on if there happens to be a tie, will take home a t-shirt with two designs to choose from. Interested in voting? Hurry before time runs out - click here to hit the polls!

In other news, @uNi posted a topic announcing two new GTAF International boards, one for Portuguese and another for Spanish speaking members here within the community. Of course, all GTAF community guidelines apply. uNi says that future expansion regarding new language boards will depend on activity. The Weekly Vehicle Showdown returned this week with the Pegassi Monroe facing the Truffade Z Type, this week's newcomer. At this time, the Monroe only leads the Z Type by just a few critical votes. If you're interested in participating before it's too late, click here to be redirected to the poll! Finally, for this week's round of News threads, Kirsty posted an update regarding even more GTA Online Gunrunning DLC details. The thread includes new screenshots that show off the new vehicles and equipment that will be featured in the new update. Gunrunning is anticipated to be released within the next week or two.

GTAForums currently has a total of 14,824,677 total posts (+14,487 from last week) and 705,231 total members (+621 from last week) at the time this is being posted.

Welcome to the twelfth week of Rockstar Central! I’m your host, Spider-Vice, and we’ll be highlighting this week’s happenings in the Rockstar Universe.

Grand Theft Auto

This week, on Friday, June 2nd, Rockstar had announced some brand new GTA Online: Gunrunning information! Teasing the brand new underground bunkers, mobile operation centers and weaponized vehicles, Rockstar provided some brand spankin’ new screenshots, along with some vital information about the things mentioned above.

- Any CEO, VIP or MC president can start their career from an Underground Bunker.

- For tactical operations on the move, you can invest in a Mobile Operations Center, which is storable in your Bunker. These operation centers will earn you some sleeping quarters, weapon customization shops, vehicle shops and a whole command center for upgrading and customizing your arsenal, and modifying your weaponized vehicles with turrets and what not.

- You’ll be able to enjoy many weaponized vehicles like the APC, straight out of the Ballad of Gay Tony, and a mobile anti-aircraft trailer.

- You won’t be managing your Bunker alone! You can hire staff who will do research for you, and get better at stuff to unlock a range of optional upgrades including personal weapon modifications, brutal tech for your Weaponized Vehicles and upgrades for your Operations Center.

Rockstar promises more details for GTA Online: Gunrunning soon, and you can check it out in the Newswire here.

Red Dead Redemption 2

After the delay of last week, there isn’t a lot all the disappointed outlaws can do. While still having a very large desert to traverse, a couple of things have happened in the forum.

- The RDR2 Screenshot Fun Thread has opened, which is meant to be very similar to the one existent during the V days.

- The Mapping Thread has been resurrected with the brand new screenshots, and so has the weapons thread.

There’s not a lot to discuss this week, as all the previous GTA Online bonuses are active, and the RDR2 section is still in mourning over the delay! Community Highlights should be back within a week or two.

This week, we'll be featuring a unique film based around the early events of Red Dead Redemption. The Man from Blackwater was a short, thirty-minute film revolving around John Marston's plan to hold an assault on Fort Mercer, the main hideout of the Williamson gang. The film was directed by John Hillcoat and produced by Rockstar Games themselves, using Red Dead Redemption's cut-scenes and game engine. Although not all of the cut-scenes used were placed in chronological order, they did tie into the story, sometimes using alternative angles. A unique scene regarding John Marston and Dutch's gang was featured within the film as well.

We were able to catch up with the infamous mafia pug lover @trip for a brief interview.

unbid: You've been on the forum for quite some time, now. What brought you to GTAForums?

trip: I needed a new home and I liked the edge that GTAF had.

What inspired you to create your username?

It's my real name. My memory is so shot that if I use anything but i'd inevitably forget my cute username and I'd never be able to sign in anywhere.

What do you enjoy most about the community here on GTAF?

The smell of all the hairspray.

Which forum member do you feel very close to?

Slamman. I think it's because we grew up at the same time in history. We are vastly different otherwise.

Picture this; you've suddenly become an Admin here on the forums. What do you do first?

Reinstate the age rule.

Tell us about what it's like to be a member fo the Andolini Mafia Family. Put out any hits lately?

Love Andolini. Our diversity is unmatched. Hits? What hits? I have no idea what you are talking about.

What's your favorite Rockstar Games series or title?

GTA Vice City. Just can't beat that 80's vibe.

I think many Gen Chat regulars adore your pugs. Could you tell us more about them?

Colonel Ted Pudding, RayRay, and Peaches. They have the same parents (except RayRay has a different mom) but none of them are litter mates. They are great little freaks...and they have a fairly decent Pugstagram(Instagram) presence @pugskie.

Do you often debate with Kirsty about whether dogs are better than cats?

Never. I'm a cat person too. And we all know better than to start sh*t with Kirsty?

Tell us more about yourself personally, things like your interests, hobbies, favorite music, etc.

I'm a Deadhead and lived on the road for a few years in the 80's. I spent most of my life going to the Philadelphia Folk festival. Music is a big part of me and my growing up. Video games are also a big part of who I am thanks to being the right age during the golden age of arcades. Also...I ride a Harley that eats babies.

Do you have anything special to say to our audience or to the GTAForums community?

We need more drama. Produce more drama, GTAF community.
