Why are Tryhards"(rebreathers) so good at gunfights

Seriously, they are not modding( I play on PS4), but when I fight them, they easily wipe Los Santos with me. My KD is 1.33 and rising after having to learn the ropes/mechanics of GTA 5 Online (because I skipped story mode), I was so naive that at level 30 I was still using the handgun Lamar gave me because I had no idea I had access to the other guns(started on PS3 last year, transferred on March of 2017, yes I'm late). Anyway, I like to think I have gotten better and in general I can beat most players in the lobbies. But these people, you know the ones with the Rayman legs and those rebreathers, OMG they are stone cold killers. Or are they Bullsharking 24/7? I mean, I thought you can only drop BST like 3 times or something?

Some of us wear nice dresses or hot pants. I'm partial to a nice suit. :colgate:

Happy Hunter

At the top you get two types of players - the ego'd out ones (tryhards); and the humble ones (who don't go on about it, but are usually infinitely superior to their insecure cousins, the tryhards).

Basically, tryhards are second-rate versions of the players on the top. That's why they can be annoying, but typically are more like an annoying fly or something, rather than a problem for really good players.

I prefer my look. Good thing we get to choose how we look and don't dress each other.

because they've learned that gtao relies less on skill and more on cheap tactics

They take advantage of all of the overpowered imbalanced things at their disposal to bolster that K/D stat they religiously sperg over. Despite what some may try to have you believe, GTAO freeroam PVP is an absolute joke and you should point your nose elsewhere as soon as you smell it marksman dancing it's way toward you while off the radar. These people are generally pathetic and should be given your disgust/pity before going passive and leaving them to their number farming.

Yes.

The rebreather makes them move faster

Is this true? I still wouldn't do it. Just like the bp helmet it looks silly IMO.

Of course it is true.

Also, the word "gullible" isn't found in the dictionary.

It's also written on every ceiling in the world, which is quite amazing.

But seriously, from what I know, BP helmets, Biker helmets, Bandanas and the Tron outfit helmets all protect from headshots, so does the rebreather add to this protection, or have a different side effect?

No, I have never once heard of it doing anything other than allowing you to stay under water for an extended period of time.

As true as the elite skills of the tryhards preteen alpha males.

Fixed.

The rebreathers look utterly stupid and I never got why they became a trend amongst the free roam warrior types. Same goes for those trashy low crotch pants.

"bandanas protect from headshots"

"bandanas"

"protect from headshots"

That's incredibly f*cking stupid and I believe it because Rockstar.

Yellow Dog with Cone

There's "good" and there's also "fires a rocket at you then blows himself up without even making sure if it hits you".

Even if I get into a fun gunfight, it soon deteriorates into a jets galore, RPG spamming, marksman dancing and EWO abusing bullsh*t.

Deal with all of them except the last one, suiciders are f*cking lame and ain't worth of your bullets and time.

Lets you identify em easier. Just like real life.

To be fair about the Rebreathers, they can look decent on proper outfits, I got a decent Post-Apoc "Division" style outfit that makes it work.

As far as I'm aware, all items of headgear from Bikers, for whatever broken reason, give added headshot protection, including the bandanas.

The rage of tryhards is usually a lot more rewarding than that of non-tryhards. They get angrier and lose it more quickly.

They're best scraped up in a Savage; gives the optimal flavour.

Swooping them up in a Mallard or Besra if they're battling on the beach works too. Sure, the Mallard is a species of duck, but it can still be a bird of prey.

We need to get the Savage covered in that cloth then.
