A place where we can post images of players with bounties on their heads hiding in wall glitches on next-gen systems

 

I was wondering if we had a thread like this already and if not would the moderators be opposed to it

 

The rules would be simple No word of mouth you have to have screenshots and video

So far this last week I've spotted 8 people doing this exact thing

the sad part is they were high-level

One was over lvl 200

I fully expect actions like this from brand new players Who have no skills or experience at the game But a level 200?

No offense but who really cares? I always wallbreach when I want to be left alone if I can't make it to a safehouse in time to go AFK. It's only really a problem when people are sitting in a wallbreach griefing players. Good luck tho

You know if you really want to be left alone it's really simple all you have to do is go into passive or a private server

...Instead of cheating and climbing into a wall

 

Hence the exact reason for the necessity of this thread

I like to play in sessions with other people -- It's lonely to play alone IMO, I'm absolute sh*t at combat so it's annoying when you come back to your game only to find you're being griefed. Thankfully, I don't need to wallbreach really ever because of all my safehouses or whatever they're called are usually close but if I need to make a quick escape I just use the most basic wallbreaches. Keep in mind, I only ever do this if I'm not a CEO because being an AFK CEO is also terrible. Cudos to you for wanting the game to be glitch free and wanting everyone to conform the intended game mechanics but not everyone will follow the natural order, like myself. I have no shame, I don't really care if people are bothered of my choices of gameplay because I do what's doable for me and I don't bother anybody else in doing so. It's just a game afterall, and wallbreaches aren't exactly gamebreaking so YOLO

Well, here's the thing.

If people start posting videos they'll be asked to post them in the video thread.
If people start moaning about the wall-breachers they'll be directed to the B&M thread.

That leaves us with name-shaming which is generally frowned upon/bad practice.

I mean the site doesn't like this sort of thing, but they allowed the best/worst messages to stay open this long, IMO, I've seen real bullying happen in that thread, and this is just to expose those that in fact are cheating, with evidence only as asked by OP...

 

The site says it doesn't condone cheats or mod's, yet it's all here somewhere too, yet to shame the real cheats is a no-go area... Hmmm...

 

I'm in favour of this thread, if players can systematically accuse, berate and bully others because of the aforementioned thread, then to actually show what some of these cheats are doing and condemn them WITH actual proof should equally be allowed.

 

As OP said, it may cause arguments, but only from those that are guilty, in my honest opinion there is no need to cheat, and some of the tactics used are just pathetic, to expose these frauds for what they are will only garner hateful messages from those that are caught...

 

But there lies the entertainment of it all, they'd be PROVEN as a cheat somewhere, and won't accept responsibility... The fall out, and the excuses will be pure gold, and I fear also a good few forum users may also get caught out, even some that profess integrity too, that would be funny...

 

I certainly can name some, and some of them are here... But alas, no proof, so I'll keep it to myself for now...

 

Also, i can see this as a detterant too... A good one... a hell of a lot of players that cheated only did so because of the act they're anonymous and won't ever be caught by ohers and shamed, they know this and exploit the game feeling safe from ridicule... If this garnered traction much earlier in GTA:O's lifespan, I firmly believe SOME players wouldn't have cheated through fear of public ridicule too...

 

I can see the positives, but I fear this will be shut down... Unfortunately.
