Well, as you already have seen, OpenIV is dead, GTA SA Map in GTA V is also dead, everything is dead, now i don't know what to do.

 

If people get a way to make TakeTwo to Re-open OpenIV (what i doubt) maybe this mod can have another change, but for now, its dead.

I have working OpenIV, problem is that it's ILLEGAL to mod GTA now.

If people get a way to make TakeTwo to Re-open OpenIV (what i doubt) maybe this mod can have another change, but for now, its dead.

open iv still works and you can use a gta5 launcher bypass mod so you dont have to wait for an updated scripthook v

please dont abandon the sa map

I'll not give up, also i doubt that TakeTwo will really Ban Mods, All the community is TRIGGERED and protesting in all ways to try to make something, also Rockstar Said that will try to find a way to fix that, so lets hope the situation gets better.

very awesome work! i'm definitely looking forward to this. 2 Questions tho... when you say you have lods working, do you mean the lods or the slods? (hope im asking this clearly, i know that with only lods the game likes to stutter and lose frames looking toward the added map). Also, is it compatible with having the Vice V map next to it? Either way, incredible work!

Its soo cringy when people say GTA V modding is dead or going to be dead just because Take Two's cease and desist letter to the OpenIV team. I mean we can still use it and make mods and making mods is not the problem here its OpenIV that is being seen as a problem to them.

I don't know if i'm going to finish the mod, maybe if i release just what i have made i dont get a C&D from rockstar now that Total Conversions are not allowed, Whatever, here is what it looks like everything i made already on codewalker.

Oh no... Made it near Human Labs or Paleto Bay, please. It will be a great panorama. Also, if you Northern of Paleto bay - it will be a true geographical position. I think T2 will not C&D you if you made last patch. And T2 is not publisher of GTA San Andreas, it was published until R* was sold to T2

Please finish the mod. I can't wait to add objects around the old L.S with an map editor and make things more immersive instead of a empty map with no life on it :monocle:

Looks great but I wish you just added San Fierro and Las Venturas to the existing map.

 

Really no point in having a renderware Los Santos.

The map is working on CodeWalker, but the game crashes when i get near it, i dont know if its the models, the lods, or whatever, maybe its soo much things to the game to handle, because i can see all the lods and when it is going to change to the normal models, it crash, i dont know what to do, maybe i try to do something on the gameconfig.xml and hope to work, but idk

That's even worst. Do you know that this game has a boundary limit of [16000, -16000 ], [16000, 16000 ] for map models? Anything further will cause problem or even make the game crash. Edited by Mr.Arrow

When these crashes occur its typically memory related.

 

The answer to the problem is likely in the gameconfig.xml

 

There are several map related values.
