GTA SA: San Fierro DLC for GTA V

So how are you on it ? Almost finished ? Also dont you have skype ?

The map is working on CodeWalker, but the game crashes when i get near it, i dont know if its the models, the lods, or whatever, maybe its soo much things to the game to handle, because i can see all the lods and when it is going to change to the normal models, it crash, i dont know what to do, maybe i try to do something on the gameconfig.xml and hope to work, but idk

 

When these crashes occur its typically memory related.

 

The answer to the problem is likely in the gameconfig.xml

 

There are several map related values.

 

I make the mod load only Las Venturas and San Fierro to test and it work, i'll try to make it load the countryside also to see what happens

 

Please, stop asking to move the map, it would take a sh*t ton of time and probally will pass the in-game barriers and f*ck all my mod, so please understand that.

I discovered why it is crashing, it is something on the countryside that when it is going to change from the lods to hd models it crash.

I think you can remove the bottom half of the map because GTA V already has Mount chillad and Los Santos

i think i can solve it by re-exporting the models and re-doing the ymaps because i think i did something wrong when i did it.

100% proof! About 20 h ago OpenIV officially discontinued their Liberty City GTA IV port mod for GTA V due to those legal issues coming from R* and Take Two's new policies related new map mods :die:. I'm guess :cry: now also NO release for ViceCry improved ViceCity map for GTA V as well... :/

Most mods or fan games that got taken down usually because it got too popular.Unless this mod appeared in the front page of a gaming website,we should be fine.

Then why is the thread called San Fierro DLC for GTA V if its now going to be all of San Andreas. I would prefer if there would be two versions then.

No buy maybe someone can make a HD addon or something like that idk, i'll trying to fix that f*ckin error for now

What exactly is the error ? And are you 100% positive that it's related to the map it self ?

Maybe you can pass the map to someone in order to test it and try to corner down the crash issue (unless it's related directly to the map then theres no point for that).

Also you have to spin the map clockwise so the sunset is at the beach.

Would love to fly there,you know get in a cab to LS airport then fly to SF or SA or maybe drive all the way then take a boat,take my time to get there,get that felling as if you're really travilling to another city instead of having it directly in the face of LS.

Problem is he said that he's gotta rebuild the whole map if he wants to move it to a different place.

He already said that he won't move the map
