This update = More unbalanced crap. More mindless free roam missions/public only. More stuff to buy, which you CAN"T buy unless you buy other things 1st which then allows you to buy the thing you wanted to buy in the 1st place.

 

 

 

I don't get why we are running guns...Players are walking weapons stores with a quick menu to fill ammo at will.

 

Only thing i want.. Is a reliable Anti Air weapon. Vehicle or gun. Don't care.

You should be happy then as this update shows a vehicle that looks to be a dedicated anti air weapon. And nobody can really complain about them adding more ways to make money for free anyways. More variety is always better. All of the updates are free. regardless of whether you have to pay in game money for stuff.

Sure it looks like a dedicated anti air weapons. But this is R*... Two steps forwards.. one backflip back is pretty much their motto when it comes to updates. They don't get sh*t right.. like ever. They make good looking updates.. but not that much fun, balance or depth to it.

 

 

 

Besides..Just because something is free doesn't mean anything to me...especially not in this game. Its free for a reason. (kuuurshkaaards)

Ever since the Heists update came out I hoped that one day we'll be able to buy the Cargobob which has a big magnet (the one from The Fleeca Job). I guess that if we won't get it in the Gunrunning update we'll never get it.

100% agree with everything you said tbh.. This must be the last 'big' update, unless they are gonna do something fundamentally different with the gameplay.. As I really dont see where they can go after Gunrunning.. We can whip an RPG out of our back pocket & order attack aircraft from our phones, I dont see why we're now selling guns either.

 

It can only escalate further, or else people will be underwhelmed. [insert 'sharks with freakin lazer beams' memepic]

 

I understand the majority are in favour though, & they gotta cater to the masses.

I rather have a 2016 1017 honda civic to be able to be modded into a R version then.

You can get it. Since last summer? Hopefully we can use it for something relating to the gunrunning (picking up supplies/cargo/else).

Ok guys my "janitor" or "source" says that there will not be multiple MOC's just the truck&trailer.

 

 

Idk if he is truthful or not, just some things he sent an hour ago. Another thing is I met this guy on the French forum last year around this time

If anything they should introduce the skylift for a magnet.

 

Even though it's really large (fits the whole downtown LSC parking lot) and has weird controls that need fixing.

It's actually not, which is the stupidest part. It's longer on the VIP job that uses the Jetsam, but if you call in yours from Pegasus it has the same stubby hook that's on the original Cargobob (not to mention, the same tiny radius for a successful hook-up).

 

I can't figure out how or why Rockstar has failed to get this right for going on 4 years. All they need to do is expand the hook-up radius and give us the longer rope (which is obviously already coded). Failing that, sell us the magnet version that is actually useful. Let the dumb thing lift like it used to be able to, where we could carry around tanks and buses. Stop it from unhooking randomly (it didn't used to do that so clearly they changed some code that is making it act that way).

 

And if they're worried about dupe glitches, maybe try fixing their code so you can't dupe that way.

Man the amount of tears from players getting griefed when this comes out could fill up oceans. Players are so sensitive these days in freeroam, you kill them and it's like you disrupted their safe space.

 

Can't wait to see what the forums will be like when this is released. I'll be hovering the bitch and moan thread.

You make it sound as if they've been trying to fix it for four years.. ;) My guess is that was forgotten about long ago. As for the hook detaching, it wouldnt surprise me if that was deliberately implemented with Imp/Ex, they knew we'd be using the 'bob since they included a delivery cutscene for it.

I've noticed the Jetsam is a little bit quieter, but that's about it. Speed, climb rate, hook, cable - all the same. Also, there are some very minor changes to the fuselage.

 

The magnet is strong enough. Its the same as the Cargobob. It can detach with a car but usually only if run into something or rocked hard. I do notice that the cable will occasionally glitch and "break" after delivering a car to I/E warehouse. This occurs on both the CB and Jetsam.

 

The CB and Jetsam are cash cows in I/E and with some creativity can be used for 90% of the work.

Oh who am I kidding...GTA Online has always been unbalanced. We gotta quit complaining as if it will ever be balanced. Never has been and never will, just gotta appreciate the new content. And like always, I hope for more cars.

Not sure, but I hope so. Last week they announced the details at ~ 4:45pm eastern time which was pretty out of the ordinary for them.

 

If not today, then tomorrow might be a good time to expect news and if not tomorrow then.. I'd consider the chances of this coming on the 6th VERY slim

Giving that it's R* we're dealing with, we very well may have to wait until the last Tuesday of the month. Probably won't be that long, but i would never put it past them and they have yet to give a solid date..

Highly doubt that. Whenever they say "sometime during x month" It's almost always the middle of the month, not the first half due to it being slightly too early but not the last half either due to it being too late. Obviously I could be wrong but in the past whenever they said "sometime during" without a release date it dropped mid-way through the month.

 

Eh, we'll just have to wait and see.
