I mean, I love old Hondas, but the RS beats the Civic Type-R in every aspect.

 

It looks less gaudy, has AWD and RWD drift mode, 350hp/350tq compared to 306/296tq, and the Civic is FWD. There isn't a single FWD car that's remotely fast or fun in GTA.

I've grinded my rear end off, usually solo, to get everything. I just got my 2nd guy the Rocket Voltix and Ruiner2k, simply bc I wanted something to buy but I'm not doing it with military crap that's a half assed expansion of I/E. No thanks, I'll stick to missions, some VIP work and regular races.

Would be nice if they added a few different cars you could madmax out, not just the one.

Didn't one of the leakers say that R* was done with madmax/post-apocalyptic/redneck stuff for now? I for one prefer more professional and clean-looking vehicles.

I do not enjoy dumping hours upon hours of my time into a singular game to progress and I'm way beyond tired of seeing my favorite styles of games (sandboxes and open world games) go the route of "spend 100 hours to upgrade your BB gun to a .22 LR! OR spend 100 dollars to do it now!"

 

Say what you want about grinding...but it keeps people interested. You can simply do some glitches or hop sessions until a modder forces money on you, and you'll see how quickly you get bored of the game once you have everything.

 

No game that hands you over everything on a silver platter ever manages to keep a steady playerbase. It's good for players, it's good for their business, it's a win-win.

I never beat SA without cheats and put way more hours into it than I have the last two gtas combined. SR:2 I beat countless times, with and without cheats, unlocked the legit version of immortal war god and STILL kept playing and finding new ways to entertain myself.

 

Just because YOU and all these other idiots are blind to this scam doesn't mean the rest of us should have to suffer for it.

It isn't a just car guy's wet dream or a thug-life simulator, the series is something that's meant to appeal to a wider variety of people. This includes those of us who are into more military/combat/PvP content.

 

I get that there are people who aren't into military-based content, and that's fine. If they don't want to deal with others who enjoy this new stuff, they can simply enter passive, keep their distance, or just enter a private lobby.

 

B**ching about new content is absolutely stupid, as participation isn't mandatory. For example, I'm not a "Car/Bike Guy", but I sure as hell won't b**ch and moan about the Bikers Update or the Hod-Rod & Tuners Updates (if they're ever added). There's nothing "horrible" about new content.

 

Besides, who can call that sexy-as-f**k APC "horrible"?

Exactly. There have been so many updates that have appealed to what the community has wanted for so long. The creator community made stunt races with the old race creator. And everyone wanted actual stunt races to be a thing, and we got that. Then the bikers wanted an update with new bikes with more customization, and we got that. Then we got import export with new cars that the community requested like the retro Elegy. People wanted more unique vehicles and we got that with the special vehicles. Now with Gunrunning we are finally get the long requested military update with what looks like a form of "Pegasus vehicle" customization. Or at least "Pegasus like" vehicle customization. Morale of the story is, the game is meant to evolve and be the greatest at everything it can be. Let's be honest, GTA is a better racing game than most racing games out there...

Thank goodness I have a couple of fast cars. I will avoid the mayhem. Part of running away is the fun except if you're in a clothing store because you always have to beware of people running in and killing you.

This update just feels like its for little kids that totally loooooooove explosions and boom boom.

Grand Theft Auto was a long time ago. This game is turning more and more into Grand War Zone. I bet this update will bring mixed feelings over time. Some great because of some new gameplay, but also some bad in terms of the constantly increasing chaos in freemode (which means lots of solo/invite sessions).

And before anyone says GTA always had military vehicles, you're right, it had.

 

But this update is changing the whole focus on pure war zones that public sessions will become, combined with stuff like bulletproof helmets, skull masks, First Person mode, spammable explosives and pretty much all the other stuff you see in COD and BF...

 

...This game will become heaven for the most cancerous player base that exists, but oh well, good thing solo sessions are easy to make.

 

I have too agree. I do not welcome this further move towards military vehicles. There are many games out there for military combat. Its a shame GTA is moving away from a game of criminals to a game of warlords set in Los Santos. Wish I could play GTA without any military vehicles at all.

The Blista Compact is awesome fun guys, before Benny's tune shop, that and the Futo a Penumbra or other cheap street/sports cars were gold for customising a car, the Rhapsody too, love those toys...

 

Weather they're 2wd, 4wd or other, I don't care, but for 'basic' cars, they have decent mod options... Must be this boring flake is a newbie that only knows Benny's for options... Bless, so naïve...
