Mister Pink
Finally, I picked this up. I don't know why I kept putting it off for so long. Thematically, the game really speaks to me. I love anything to do with cults and it's not long ago I was watching Wild Wild Country, which I believe Rjaneesh taking over the town of Wasco, Oregon loosely inspired the game - although I think the game is inspired by many high-profile cultists. I'm quite enjoying it. I actually like the driving in this game. I'm not going to attempt completionist levels of completion as it's an Ubisoft game and I never follow through with my attempts. Instead, I'm going to casually play this and try not to worry on missing out stuff. There's a cut-off point I'll have around 40-50hrs and I'll get bored. So, I may as well enjoy all the "best bits" and actually try finish it, instead of trying to do everything, like in Wildlands. I was playing on hardest. Kept dying. Slowly going through the game and not finishing it. Vercetti27, Is this The Guy?, Ciaran and 1 other 4 𝙼𝚄𝚂𝙸𝙲 𝙽𝙾𝙽 𝚂𝚃𝙾𝙿

At least based on the play time I see on other games by my mates on XBL Yeah, I checked out, Howlongtobeat.com and says completionist done in 41 hours or so. Still, not going to try do everything. If I love the game I can always go back and do more things. I tend to enjoy the hell out of Ubisoft games for a moment but never really love them. Is this The Guy?
Can’t believe it took me so long to finally get this. It was sad really because I loved Far cry 2 and 3 so much and I couldn’t get into 4 and primal at all so I hesitated to get this. Loving it so far. What rifle does everyone in here use to go hunting? I usually use the bow sure but damn I need something for those situations where I just don’t want to deal with a bear. edit: okay so after about 2 days of playing I think I’m near done. I haven’t even completed a region yet. Planes are seriously ruining it for me. Luckily I have the 50 cal but still, I spent so much time shooting down or hiding from planes I forgot what the hell I was trying to do. At least let me fish in peace damnit lol Edited August 25, 2019 by Is this The Guy? Mister Pink
Gummy
I'm 50 hours in and I've already liberated 2 of the regions, but I still have a sh*t ton of side missions to do. I'm on my way in Faith's region now. Holy sh*t that first, trippy encounter you have with her was such a moment. Also

I got room for another companion and I take Jess everywhere so I don’t get randomly attacked by wild animals.

One of the main attributes of a sandbox game is the ability to do what you want when you want, not to be pulled away to do the plot because the game said you did too much. I had to withstand taking over any outposts because they give you too many points and I wanted to do the missions before taking on the heralds. Thejeffster
I got this game not too long after it came out, love the story, hated the ending. I wonder how they're going to do Far Cry 6 though, since the events of New Dawn and all.
Halal Cyborg
I loved this and new dawn in terms of gameplay but found the story to be frankly stupid and the subject matter while promising was handled badly

Craigsters
This is on sale at steam at 85% off $11.99 this weekend , that's a good deal and it's worth that price, can't go any lower in price Dryspace 1 "You don't understand! It was actually $7.56 ending ~7-13-20 at Green Man Gaming. I picked it up at the same time for $7.65 at GamersGate. $8.29 at Fanatical 8-14-20 $8.99 at Humble Bundle 7-20-20 $9.00 at Uplay 8-6-20 I don't recommend buying Ubisoft games on Steam as they are still Uplay games and still require Uplay (Same for EA. I mean, in theory -- if they had any games worth buying). Factoring Ubisoft + Denuvo + VMProtect + Always Online SP + Not Exactly a Masterpiece -- FC5 may be worth this kind of price, but not much more in my opinion. Mister Pink
This is on sale again on Xbox. I lost my hard copy and bought it digitally. Wanted to see what it looks like on Series X. There is a 60fps version but it only outputs at 1080p and it looks pretty awful. Playing in 4K 30fps and it's fine! I did something kind of stupid. I think when I put in a few hours originally, I wanted to try something different and travelled down to Falls End. I completely forgot the game starts you off in the centre of the map in Jacob Seed's territory. So what I done as actually take over Holland Valley and take out John Seed first. It makes sense as now as I'm in Jacob's territory again in the north. I like the change of scenery. It's more mountainous and I like that there is the Whitetail militia that's helping out. I has just had my character in militia gear before going into that region, so it felt apt. It's making sense I should have taken Jacob out first as there are some things like fishing, the game is only now introducing me to. But on the plus side, I do like going from the valley to Whitetail Mountains region because there is more water to be traversed and I just bought my first boat. Not sure if it's just me but perhaps Jacobs region is a bit easier compared to Holland Valley because Holland Valley can essentially look like a war zone at times. I thought it was very active and difficult at times (playing on Normal). But Whitetail is much easier to travel through without getting attacked. Really enjoyable game. I'll refrain from posting the all the same screens I posted in the screenshot thread but I'll leave two. Vercetti27 1 𝙼𝚄𝚂𝙸𝙲 𝙽𝙾𝙽 𝚂𝚃𝙾𝙿
