I kinda said "f*ck this game" after I beat it Unlocking guns and clothes and cars for a dead world with no reason to use them The Vietnam DLC vaguely interests me, but that's it Oh well. I paid for the game and, while I don't exactly know the truth, my guess is that they drip-feed the release-day contents through limited time challenges until they ran out of it one day (and start doing repeat rewards for a period of time like in GRW). Should I say I hate having those contents locked inside my HDD and I will unlock them while they're free of charge despite of being in the state of dead end game. Anyway, just played for crap and ended up getting the challenge reward's muscle car. It's really fast. Not too shabby. Worth the grind. I'm gonna keep the outposts hijacked until they patched in a way to make enemies active again. They seem to think more people would be playing than PC for some reason. I don't get why they didn't lower it to 600,000 like the others.... especially since God of War was out. No enemies spawning post game, along with that was doomed to fail. Maybe they'll wise up and lower it like the others for this week. You guys are way more loyal than me. And the Cult outfits actually look cool. The Roadkill one was just dumb though if you're a male deputy, you're just walking around shirtless..... The Vietnam and Mars DLC are what intrigue me, couldn't care less about Zombies. But 3/4 things on the season pass isn't too bad, I'll just download it for any new weapons it'd add to the base game if any. Begoo Posted April 30, 2018 Share Posted April 30, 2018 AI can be sh*tty sometimes, it misses animations when cutting plants and animals after killing them, FC Primal was the same no animations at all. And other thing i find annoying is when characters wether its peggies or that other group milita i think you fight along with have some same characters, when you find and save i.e. one guy, in other part of region it will be the same guy who needs help or what ever, its like they are teleporting. So basicaly game lacks some variety in characters. Other than all of that i find game quite fun and open world is really cool, it could have been a bit more alive however. Live Events are to kill Jacob's Judges and Wolves. Personal to get Shovel Launcher and Community to get Jacob's Hunter set. 1000000 kill count for ps4 again ffs.. this is badass clothes. I got pissed off at first upon reading as I thought it meant just Hunters. I left Jacob's region entirely untouched after the Outpost Master so I'd have just gone to Cheeseburger's place to kill wolves, kill myself and restart to kill more if that was the case. Any wolves is very welcome, I doubt this'll take as long as it did for everyone to complete it. No previous task went on into the weekend before. And wolves spawn pretty commonly when you throw bait. They should really lower the number for PS people though, 1,000,000 community goal over a month after a game was released is just too much. Maybe I got lucky, but a wolf spawned every time I threw bait, and each wolf had bait I could loot off its corpse, so it didn't take long to finish that challenge. I imagine they'll make different story character costumes available each week. 1000000 kill count for ps4 Seriously? That's ridiculous. It's only 500,000 on the XB1, and even that seems like it'll take a while to reach. The PS4 must have twice the player base or some sh*t to justify that number. Grace and Mary May. While the male deputies got Sheriff and the Rapist. I really don't see why all these clothes have to be like three times as expensive as the best guns though..... really pointless unless we had New Game Plus. If you can forgive this games flimsy & god-awful (excuse the pun) narrative then you have a fun game for about 3 weeks well, outside of the hallucinations during f*cking gameplay rammed down my throat obviously! I'm surprised In hindsight I had the patience to complete it. Also, they set it in Montana yet I can't ride a horse and trample cultists to death? GTFO FAR CRY 4 HAD KNIVES & ELEPHANTS WHICH I COULD RIDE & KILL PEOPLE WITH AND A FAIRLY COHERENT NARRATIVE YET IT'S IGNORED!? WHY THOUGH!?!? I had to reset outposts just to test my f*cking launcher on something a little more challenging than two enemies that you find after 20 minutes of driving around. It wouldn't be a big deal if I could just start a new game and do whatever the f*ck I want without being forced to finish the damn story. You f*cked it up, Ubisoft. Perhaps making an actual inticing reward rather than a car livery helped this, along with an easy task. Wolves spawn aplenty in Jacob's territory I hope we get the rest of the cult outfits! And I do hope our personal goal rewards continue to be something truly unique, rather than another livery for a weapon/vehicle already in the game. jpm1 Posted May 3, 2018 Share Posted May 3, 2018 Hello, i'm thinking of buying that game. the 'Montana roaming' concept is definitely attractive. but is the game worth the 60E (i want to buy it on Steam). i enjoyed FC3 & 4 a lot. but i also hated some things like the drugs. how is the life sim aspect in that game. is it possible to roam the land peacefully, is there a hideout somewhere. are hunting, and fishing fun. do you think i should i go for it. or wait for a sale. if it's just a FC3 or 4 clone , i will maybe wait a bit. i enjoyed these games a lot, but if i have to pay 60E it's really for an exceptional game (like ACO) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There has never been a Far Cry where its fun to wander around after you beat the game and all the outposts. You think its bad in FC5 after beating the outposts, which you can reset? I'm glad they've lowered the goal, it took until late Thursday night to reach 500,000 when on older events it'd have hit 1,000,000 at this time. It was a good move, it may need to lower a bit more within a month though... depending if they still do these. I don't know who they're kidding with the PS goal though.... do they really think more people on playing on PS than PC? From what I've seen all three goals trudge along at the same rate, so all consoles should have the same number goal. PS almost failed last week, I doubt they'll fail this one since it's so easy but unless they lower the goal for them soon I'm sure it'll fail eventually. So help me if we ever get a "Win Deathmatch" task.... at least the personal goal is set to 10 now. I'd probably snap and go crazy trying to get 20 wins in a week. I was doing these live events for the first 3 weeks, then I realized I have no reason to do it, I got the platinum trophy the first week.. If I republish the map, supposedly the new one overwrites the older, right? If only Ubi can let people leave some comments (although I know it'll be abused) so I can see what people think my map has to be improvised on. My map was 3 stars, now went down to 2. Now I'll never know what's wrong with it. Is there a glitch? Is it too hard (heck I even hid RPG, Magnum, and GL for those who explore)? Alternatively, you can just go off into the wilderness to the west of the Lumber Mill. Just keep tossing bait, kill the wolf that comes, throw more bait, kill the wolf.
