Dude, that's exactly where I am right now. I just recruited cheeseburger and have tried the Lord of the Wings challenge 15 times before quitting.

 

But you said "one of these", I hope you don't mean there's more of this sh*t. I managed to fly up to the wooden bridge with fire spraying under it. I recommend not holding the stick to fly up/down, just pull it for a short second as if you pressed a button. That's how I did a little better but quit eventually.

I think one of these Clutch Nixon wingsuit bullsh*t successfully making me want to slam my joystick away.

 

The whole thing from the late and hard effect control, the checkpoint, its placement and hitbox, the f*cking music and monolog, the long loading just became annoying during replay even after I muted my tv.

The wingsuit?

I didn't find those hard at all.

The Clutch Nixon I struggled on was the one with the final checkpoint right past a bridge you need to fly below with the plane. I kept hitting something and crashed to the ground right before the checkpoint. I really don't like flying planes in first person....

 

The wingsuit was the easiest imo, both of them.

There is a one of those side missions where when you end the bulk of the action you have to return to the quest giver.

 

I remember seeing the destination off in the distance and wondering if I could wingsuit all the way. It was great...I made it.

 

 

I have the silo bug. It will forever read 13 of 14 silos taken out. I'm in no way a completion freak but it is kinda bugging me since I have cleared all missions from my quest log.

The only major bug I've had so far was during "Confession" Where I was supposed to get to Deputy Hudson, and I could hear her screaming, and see her and John through the door, but I couldn't access it. Restarting the game fixed it, but it was kinda traumatic, like he's raping her or something but there's nothing I can do except listen to her scream

That's the one I did last night. There is another wingsuit challenge, which I think is much more doable than Lord of the Wings.

Yea, first the bridge, then the hole at the cliff.

 

The bridge can be ignored and skipped. The cliff, not so much.

Like others, time has now stopped in game for me. And for no apparent reason. I wasn't recently captured, and time has passed for me since the last time I was (killed Faith). I noticed however this evening time has been stopped at morning and has been for several hours, tried traveling around and fast travelling but it's still morning. Complete with that savage glare in the east.

So I discovered the 8 bit pizza parlor for the first time, was collecting bobbleheads.

I wondered where all your companions were at when they weren't with you. I thought that was a nice touch, watching them all walking around and talking to each other.

Very familiar with the song. It's an old folk song that a lot of people (me included) play. I did not know Nirvana did a version/cover.

 

I may even have the short tab handy. If so I'll edit it in.

This is a fine example of how a playing experience varies with different players. I heard that song at least ten times during my playthrough. At first it was a nice find, but after a while it was becoming a bit tiresome. That must be the most popular song in fictional Montana. I did heard some other songs at the early stages of the game and was beginning to miss them. But no, it was Where Did You Sleep Last Night all the time.

I've seen a lot of people with guitars but it was the first time I've heard that song in the game. Didn't know Nirvana only covered it, thought it was theirs. Recruited the guitar player after enjoying the sunset to that song lol. Had a great view up in Jacob region's mountains.

Oh... so this is the roadkill mission I saw people complaining about.

 

Well that mission's pretty much something you should pick up at the start of the game, if you want to do it. So many deer and other sh*t with antlers running out while I was in John and Faith's region.... nothing these days

I just remembered that last time I used to hit something, but it didn't die. I didn't intend to do a roadkill so I get off and shot the animal.

 

The loot was still considered as Roadkill Meat.

I'm at an impasse, on the one hand I want to beat the game and see this controversial ending people are talking about, but on the other hand I still want Cultists attacking me, and clearing this last region will get rid of them for the most part, I don't know what to do now.

Well, I feel ya. I have no will to play the game anymore now apart from wanting to touch the control to feel good. But still, whenever I'm playing this shooter game, I have nobody to shoot at anymore. This is pretty much becoming every post-ending GTA for me. f*ck around with innocent civilian or f*cking around the authorities, in this game that would be the Resistance patrols. Good grief.

Word on ubisoft forum is that both endings suck and the best ending is the secret one at the beginning of the game. Been trying to avoid spoilers about them though.

 

Makes sense that the secret ending is the best, if you didn't arrest Joseph, none of this sh*t would've popped off

But FC3's and FC4's endings sucked too. It wouldn't be a farcry game without a sh*tty ending. Lol

 

I'm still far from done. Haven't even touched Faiths region yet.

Phew! only just around the clearing my first region (holland valley), damn does that

last mission where u have to clear john's bunker drag on, so many enemies, so many gas tanks and sh*t to destroy, almost ran out of ammo, my big gripe is that shooting sh*t gets boring after like twenty minutes, seeing as i'm only one third through, i don't think i got the energy to do that twice more, and i'm guessing there is one final blowout mission after taking your third territory so i'm not sure i can be bothered to do it twice again anyway, not to mention with those mandatory little missions i've got coming for when i progress on third of my way through

 

 

anyway heres some nice screenshots i felt like sharing to remind myself that this game is quite beautiful when you're not being dragged into repetitive shootout mission or being stalked by cultists in choppers:

I'm almost done with Jacob's region. I have one final mission left if you know what I mean. I'm exploring the rest of the map and will do the remaining side missions before doing that mission, so that the enemies don't stop spawning just yet.

 

Then onto my last region - Faith. Hopefully it'll be a little better than Jacob's. I liked him but

 

the drug trip missions were meh, I wish they explained the brainwashing process a bit more, Judges could've been a little more fleshes out. I enjoyed exploring Holland Valley more but the mountains are fun to explore too.

 

 

At least the companions are superb. I love Hurk, Cheeseburger and Jess.

I really hope one of these live events at least add a second grenade launcher

It sucks there's only one in the game... and it's expensive too. Pissed me off three perk points were locked behind it.

The fact I can start over and still have that stuff thanks to it being connected to your Ubi Club account cheers me up on those things.

 

There's like five Flamethrowers(For some dumb reason) yet only one grenade launcher?!

That's what I tried. Off roading in an ATV and still nothing showed up

 

I've decided to go Jacob's route first whenever I feel up to starting a new game. That way this mission will at least be passable at some point.

hehe, funny thing happened exploring that haunted house place in faith's region, told my companion to come with me and she said "that ain't happening", love the little details like that in the game

My 3rd map will be done soon. There's still some work left to do but I should be upload it in a few days. It's nice. It takes place in the desert during a sandstorm. Enemies have occupied near abandonned outposts and set camp around the river. Your job will be to take them out. You can always go on foot or just look for enemies in a quad but the more interesting option is to grab either the plane or helicopter and airstrike as many as you can, then take care of the leftovers.

 

Any ideas for a map name? I randomly named it Spec Ops.

that is what happens with every other game after the ending. Even with Final fantasy games that can be could be 200h +. yeah you can get back to freeroam, but it doesnt make sence now to "go back to a couple of hours before".

 

the game is "alright" and if people do the side missions it can be squeezed for alot of hours. i liked the ending and i dont understand the controversy, if its just bcuz there are no more enemies on the roads, starting a new game or an old saved game fixes that.
