Mexicola9302 Posted March 27, 2018 Share Posted March 27, 2018 (edited) I can play it in 2160p if i reduce the texture res scale to 0.8 still looks much better than in 1440p. 0.9 are okay too but then i get some FPS drops. I expected it to be a bit more hardware hungry. Im glad that`s not the case. Sure i could set it to 1.5 and play in 6K with 30 FPS but 30 FPS suck rather 60 FPS with 0.8 scale. It's good. Also this runs great on my PC, I thought I would have to settle for lower settings, but no. I'm playing it on ultra with Vsync turned on 1080p GTX 980ti i7 4790k 16gb ram, the lowest I've seen the frame rate dip is 55 when things get busy. Here's a perdy screen shot for y'all. Also this. It's nice swimming in the water without sh*t in there that wants to kill you. No sharks, no gators... I hope they fix that soon it`s really weird seeing a very bright spot in an else dark enviroment and i mean very very bright. Far Cry 4 had the same problems after it`s release it`s like the devs never learn from their mistakes. In Far Cry 4 the complete second part of the map had these lightning issues at daylight it was so horrible. At least in FC5 it`s only in small parts of the map at random times. I don`t like the perk system very much it sucks you have to kill ppl with flamethrowers and sh*t to get points to unlock skills. The sniper is my favorite follower so far i mostly have her and another standard follower with an assault rifle the cougar is usefull too. Gonna unlock the rest of them tomorrow i guess. Played all day long lol. What i do like very much is that you don`t have to climb up stupid towers anymore but you also don`t have to hunt animals anymore for getting better equipment you only get some skill points for skinning different kinds of animals and if you go fish different kind of fishes. So far, stealth has been almost all I've been doing, using silent take downs and the bow instead of guns. It feels smooth enough, I did a little side quest and got the bow early, so it almost feels op, but I did run into tougher enemies later on that are hard to sneak up on. You can order your follower to do stealth kills as well. This definitely takes a cue from GRW. It's structured exactly like it - You have to take down the cult's lieutenants before going after the big boss, only there aren't a million of them like in GRW, they control their own part of the map and oversee specific operations of the cult, recruiting, enforcing, etc. The gun for hire system also feels a lot like the squad system from GRW. It's basically just a mode without a hud, where you can zoom in and out. It's all in real time so you have to be creative with your angles and such. The N. Bellic Man Posted March 28, 2018 Share Posted March 28, 2018 So far so good. I have only played around 6 hours, but this game seems to be one of the best Ubisoft games I have played. It definitely has that GRW feel, but I would say that is only a good thing even if I still haven't managed to complete that one. The map seem to be just the right size and scenery is looking great. Soundtrack is also good and I just love how relaxing it is to do some fishing or hunting after hard battles. Fishing and hunting games can be really boring when there is nothing else to do, but as a minigames they are just great. What really surprised me is how smooth the controls are. I have played only old games recently so maybe I'm a bit biased, but the gameplay feels just so effortless. Only negative seems to be that you can't get dogs into the cars.
