When I Join Stunt Races...I seem to only join one with one person

Recommended Posts

well i raced in the last 2-3 days and there were always many ppl ... even had 2-3 full lobbies ...

idk , maybe you should use the quick job menu ? it´s faster and chances are high that you´ll join a lobby with many players ...

I just start a job I like and wait til I get 6 or so people before starting it. Then after the race delay the race a few minutes to get more people. Everyone I do it in able to keep at least 9-11 in the lobby. Every few races I'll have a full lobby.

That being said, unless you're a really good racer with the custom cars that you need you're not gonna make a ton of money. You need to finish in the top 2-3 in a big lobby to make much. Assuming of course you're doing it for the money and not the rp

Pause, hover over stunt race icon and push square (or platform equivalent). 8 times out of 10 it'll put you in a good lobby. Also, if you still get put into lobbies with one player a lot, it's probably your connection.

Make sure you have your matchmaking set to open

It is set that way by default but many players change the setting

This can be done by pressing pause, going into the online menu then click on the Options

Scroll down till you see matchmaking

By doing so it increases your chances of ending up In an already populated session When launching the job

(note this does not apply when you accept an invite to a job In that situation it will depend on whether or not the host has matchmaking set to open)

Some people don't even know that this setting exists

..for example quite often I join heists through the quick menu in the phone and I hear constantly...

"who is this guy joining we never invited him"

Well that's because you have your matchmaking set to open

Personally, I only set it to closed when I am trying to purposely keep the session closed to random people

Many doing these solo to get all the money and RP.

Otherwise if I start a race it takes awhile for players accept. When one pops up if I wait for others they will get impatient and leave.

The advantages of starting a race on your own is use course you have practiced solo and set it non contact so they can't knock u in the water that way it's a real race.
