^ This.

OP, just start the mission near the sewage tunnels at the north end of the city and it'll spawn an Armored Boxville for you somewhere close, near Mirror Park I think. Grab it and just hide in the tunnels for 10 minutes. Granted, there may be a few npc's you'll have to get out and kill but the majority of the time you're just getting paid to be afk. Source a car right after and you'll be ready to sell :D

Having a hard time placing the tunnels you are talking about, I am sure its going to be a , oh yeah, those

It's the same tunnels you use for the Jewelry Heist in SP and in the online mission Sinking Feeling lol

Always fun starting that in a public session and when other players want to attack you they are under fire from the NPCs on the "ground level" :D

Actually if you are in a solo public session you can leave the armored boxville where it is. The npc comes after you, not the boxville. After a certain distance they give up.

Fortified is that good?

Well I'm definitely buying that Armored Boxville whenever it goes on sale then.

Piracy Prevention is still my p*ss break 30k. I run Fortified a lot the exact way Rafae describes.

Sightseer is an easy 5 to 6 minute 20K if you have a Buzzard

I love all VIP work. Stockpiling is impossible to complete solo, but still fun. Sightseer is still my fave. No shooting or ponsing around, just a nice drive or flight to three packages.

Fortified is like a passive income, It's good if you are tired of grinding or need to get some armor from a store, do some preparations or just casual sandbox activities.

But it's not that good in terms of money. 30K-35K for 10 minutes. Meh...

Same with Piracy Prevention

Unlike contact missions, VIP jobs do not suffer from the fast completion. You will receive nearly the same payout regardless of the time spent. So, the whole point of doing the VIP missions is to complete the job as fast as you can

Headhunter with a Hydra is THE best in my experience.

20K for a

in a best case scenario. In average you can complete it under 3 minutes. When you cross the 5 minutes threshhold, I would consider this as a failure.

Unlike the Sightseer, you never have to land, that's what makes this job fast.

There are several tricky areas when it's hard to reach the target using the aircraft. But "hard" =/= "impossible"

My Boxville spawns always at the docks and there's a shelter behind the hall where the 1st wave spawns. They can be taken out quickly and once done, drive to the small shelter and go afk for the last 7min. All enemies spawn outside the area/behind the fence and are to stupid to get on the right ground. It's boring af to but I take th time to make a sandwich or cook a tea meanwhile.

TL;DR - Fortified :^:

I'd rather just run crates. Cars are crazy tedious. Never gonna sell cars again.

In what world is stealing and selling cars more tedious than fetching crates? Complete opposite for me and many others I can tell you that much

Really?

I find crates bore me to tears, just alot of flying around in my buzzard back and forth, back and forth.

Have to wait a few days until I can sell.

I/E is more involved, nice cars, and you can sell quickly and easily for tidy little sums. Great way to get 1 mil a day without busting your chops. 1.5mil if you play more, 2mil if you go all out.

@ wehweh01... Must agree with Rafae, I/E, especially with a Cargobob, is awesome... Using the 'bob at times, driving other times... Easy, reliable solo cash that combined with VIP work is a sure fire way to get those essential cars and things bought out... And, if it fits in for you, a coke lab too, so much to be made solo combining all that up, at a plod too...

The best alternative to heisting, for some...

@ flexcreator... Agreed, to an extent... Best for time, yes... Best for doing sweet FA... Not in my opinion.

Soo, is the Armored Boxville worth the VIP work? We're definetly getting 2x on VIP work so is it might be worth it if it goes on sale.

I basically get 30k for Piracy Prevention, so that's my go-to VIP work.

Or Transporter in Solo but it's 22k.

I love Plowed! It is fun, don't take more than 5 minutes and pays between 27k & 30k

Fortified is the way to go if you need a "break".

When I want to drive around I go with Velocity.

When I want to make a quick money I keep switching between Transporter, Headhunter and Sightseer.

So many people think making 30k in 10 minutes makes it better than 20k in two minutes? I honestly don't understand you.

I dunno its just my preference. I own a vehicle warehouse and all the biker businesses. I average around 10 crate pickups (3 each) per hour. I tend to fill 2 large warehouses in 2-3 days and sell for a hefty $3,108,000. Vehicle warehouse solo on the other hand it might take me about the same amount of play time just to fill the vehicle warehouse full and even with the glitch method for selling high end one is still like 7 or 8 cars per hour. Be lucky to get over $2,000,000 selling a full vehicle warehouse. Maybe the old 32 car trick works better mixed with VIP work. I dunno its all just a matter of preference.

You totally missed the point. Pretty sure OP was looking for a way to occupy the 15 or so minutes between selling cars (the 20 min countdown timer starts right when you hit export and export missions are usually ~ 5 minutes).

Sure, Headhunter may be better but then you'd have to wait for a cool down for all the other VIP Work too. If OP is just grinding I/E, wouldn't it be better to just source car --> sell car --> Run Fortified --> Repeat?

You get 35k for being afk and it helps the I/E cool down timer pass by quickly.

If you are doing just the Headhunter, you have to wait 10 min for the next Headhunter. However, it's only a 5 min cooldown for the next VIP job.

You can complete Hostile Takeover (which is 2 min long) or Sightseer (5 min long) and then back to selling another car.

But remember that you have to source the car as well.

My routine is this:

1) Piracy Prevention / Fortified

Within these 10 min

- Refill your ammo at the cheap price from a store, refill your body armor (because Ammu-Nation is available during these missions).

- Navigate to LS, call mechanic, prepare a Sandking XL for selling

- Kill a salesclerk at the store just before the mission ends

2) Empty the cash register after the mission (rob a store) - no cops will arrive

Go to LS, sell the Sandking XL

So, total profit at this point: 30 + 16 + 2= 48K

3) Export the car

4) Headhunter

5) Source a car

7) Sightseer

8) Sell a car

Somthing like that

...You get 35k for being afk...

Personally, I'll never get the point of being AFK in the game, even if you get paid for it.

I was an associate once, helping guy to deliver crates. After the delivery the guy went smoking IRL for 5 minutes. Wasted time...

That's why I rarely become an associate. Because most CEOs have no idea how to optimize the business.

Sounds like a bit too much if all OP wants to do is grind I/E cars and still make a profit. Sure, this method nets more profit but at the expense of being all over the place in terms of jobs between selling and sourcing cars.
