^ You can't, unless you change the car class. Mac = drift and offroad, Tyler = race and drag, Jess = runner. IIRC tho.

New DLC SpeedCross free if bought Deluxe Edition $8.00 if only have standard game

I just completed all 16 events ,the only part of it, I hated is being stuck, with the same car through all 16 events.

It was so FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!

All I wanted to do was try another car, like I could at the beginning.

I picked GNX for RACE and then sold it and bought '67 Camaro SS instead it's a BLAST! to drive and the Subaru WRX for OFFROAD and then sold it for a '69 BOSS 302 it's such a BEAST!

The Camaro SS and BOSS 302 are way better than my first choice
Why the F*ck did Ghost release it that way?

But now I have no reason to play through again so soon.

I hoped I could sell the Mini and use the '65 Mustang instead but NO!!!!!!!!! the option was not there, very disappointing.
All through the normal part of the game changing cars was available.

I got this as a gift. Aside from the diabolical cliched script "you got this!" "I got this" and "we got this!" drivel spouted by these 1 dimensional characters with the personalities of wet tissue, the game is quite fun. The map is nice and with some of the purple lighting and glam of LV, it reminds me of driving around in Underground 2 at times. The drifting is fixed and is more akin to the perhaps OTT but very fun drifting of Hot Pursuit 2. You actually have a lot of control when drifting and you can go in to bends with confidence and not feel like it's a total gamble like in the 2015 game. The day/night cycle makes it a joy to traverse the map. The billboard collectibles is actually quite fun.

 

One thing I really like is that there's some map sections or at least one I've discovered which is nice to drift downhill at high speeds. Reminds me of The Crew when you have a nice windy and lengthy enough road to speed and drift down. in 2015 there was the hills to come down from but a lot of the times the roads were super-narrow and coupled with the bi-polar drifting, it tipped over the edge where challenge becomes a chore.

 

I like the idea of having to complete certain challenges before unlocking upgrades. I don't know, it just seems like a good incentive to play. I also like having little goals to work for to unlock things. I just bought the Ford Mustang Foxbody (pic below). I can't do much with her yet until I unlock some challenges. I'm fine with that. If playing game means I can have a more unique car, that's find with me. I also get to experience the car with little tuning or at least visually before I start going to town on her.

 

I've only played it for less than 10 hours so my "review" is early days. Haven't touched MP yet. I'm really excited thinking their might be some of the Hot Pursuit 2 online action. I loved that!

Oh did ya in '97 when I first saw a Yellow '92 Mustang GT convertible that's what I wanted but in my heart deep down I wanted '85 I ROC-Z Camaro ever since I recieived a Red Thunder Hawk from the show M.A.S.K for christmas when I was a kid My dream has kind of come true finally my daily driver is a Red Rock Metallic 2015 Camaro LT

but I did have '87 Camaro LT wrecked front end Then a '89 Camaro RS it was wrecked also ,such a shame

180sx is a nice car I had one in NFS Underground 1 & 2

I had 3 280zx 1rst was '83 Red and it was wrecked, after driving it, I fell in love, 2nd was '80 Brown and 3rd was Black and rusty but still was blast to drive, that 5 speed 2.8 liter straight 6 had a lot of torque for 130 hp

Last night I found some errors on DJ but now it's all finished

I'm playing Prominence Poker a lot and loving it. I'm gold and won a game against 2 platinum players which I was proud of. It was my second game as gold rank and my first time ever seeing platinum rank players. When it got down to the last three it was me vs two platinum players. Went from chip loser with barely 3,000 worth of chips at one stage to winning the game. I love those come-back games.

 

I'm also playing Need For Speed: Payback. Quite enjoying it. Played a little MP for the first time last night. Pretty intense races and a lot of fun.

 

Games I have on hold but am dipping in and out of is Fallout 4, Skyrim SE, Quantum Break and Wolfenstein: TNO.

 

I also bought Elite: Dangerous but need to spend more time breaking in to it. It's hard to as I'm distracted with so many other games.

 

 

Haha, I loved MASK as a kid. Good work on having some downloads. I only checked back a few hours later to see if anyone downloaded my new wraps.

 

Speaking of which I've made some wraps. It's my first proper attempt at making something more flashy and semi-download worthy (I think). I actually sold my newer drift again, going through drift cars like like Trump goes through hairspray.

 

I actually bought a Mazda RX7 for drift as I've been using one for racing after I stole or acquired the abandoned one. I thought it was a great racer, nice handling, speed etc. I thought I'd check it out out as a drift car and it's also the most powerful car I have unlocked for a drift. Anyway here's my kind camp/bublegum styled new wrap...

Got the game a couple of days ago, took the time to complete the story as well as to soak in the overall verdict. Handling is so much better than 2015's by far, I do quite like how you can switch brake to drift on or off. Customization is pretty good, although I'd like to see more rims than just the ones from the last game (why Rays was excluded I have no idea). I have noticed a few issues with it however, specifcally some of the fitting with the widebody fenders and weird Schafter-like offset on some cars, no idea why they removed the track width option from 2015.

 

The story, while short and extremely cheesy and sometimes pretty bad, is passable and inoffensive most of the times. While I didn't feel like liking two of the main protagonists, I gotta say Mac is a pretty likeable character. I also liked Marcus Weir and a couple of the gang bosses (specifically Aki Kimura, La Catrina and Gallo Rivera).

 

That aside and some other major flaws that have been mentioned a million times already, I've had quite a bit of fun playing the game.

NFS2015 reminded me a lot of Underground 2.

 

It still looks like they kinda dropped the ball with Payback. Doesn't really remind me of any previous titles. I'm still going to buy it eventually, when it drops below 20 euros or so. I've seen it on sale for 35 but meh.

 

I'm glad to hear it's a lot of fun despite the flaws though.

I loved NFS: U2. Payback really gives me U2 vibes. Also Hot Pursuit 2. In fact, it's like a fusion of those two games. The open and often windy roads of HP2 and the customization, city and drifting of U2. Throw some off-roading in for something new and you have Payback. I swear even driving though Vegas at times I think of U2.
