In this thread, you can post a story of when and why you started working with MC businesses, how much money you've made from them since you began. Did you have any success as an MC President so far? Like, have you made a fortune and got rich thanks to your MC business/businesses? Was your biker businesses the thing that got you rich or has it just been a side income for you?

I love the idea of making a fortune and getting rich by running MC factories because those 5 different type of businesses are each unique in their own way and you can see the actual work and production happening in front of you. It's interesting because one produces Cocaine, another produces fake cash, another produces weed where you can see the weed grow in front of you etc.

So yeah, a short and basic description of your success with the biker businesses. No need to be very long or detailed.

Here is mine:

I started playing gta online at the end of January this year. Of course I was very poor and low ranked in the beginning and I almost knew nothing about CEO organizations or MC clubs back then. About one or two weeks later, I started hearing more about these methods of making money so I realized that I need to start a MC club or organization to make big money. I felt like heist like fleeca job and contact missions is too ineffective and takes too long to get rich from, so after doing the fleeca heist several times I had about just enough money to buy a clubhouse and the cheapest document forgery in Grapeseed. I couldn't afford anything else so I had to go with that. Obviously, I couldn't afford buying upgrades for my business so it was quite slow and it took forever before it produced full product, so I was not very satisfied with the rate of production and the low value the product was worth.

After working with it for about a few weeks, I realized that this is not gonna make me enough money and it's just too slow, so the only thing I could do was buying a shark card which I got about 1.7 millions from. I used that money to buy my first Cocaine business and one of the upgrades for it, which left me with only about 20k in the bank haha. But from this point, I started making a lot more money because hey, coke business is much, MUCH better than document forgery one. It took me only like one or two days before I made enough money from the coke business to buy all the upgrades for it and then... I started making some serious money by keeping my console on everyday and let my business produce all day, making sure to resupply and sell every few hours. This was the beginning of my success. After only one and a half week of running my Coke factory, I went from having like 20k in the bank to 11.1 million, in just one and half week!

Since then, I've been working with other mc businesses too but the coke have always been my main business and my main income. So I made about in average 1.5 millions per day since then. Some days I didn't work very much because I was lazy or didn't have time, but now, after 3 months since I started working with my coke business I have over 42 millions in the bank. I made a fortune thanks to my coke business mostly but also my other businesses helped me too. So yes, the thing that made go from poor to rich in gta online was the mc businesses, mainly coke. It's been a nice journey so far but pretty tough because I've worked hard to get where I am today. I'm going to keep working until I reach about 50 millions which will happen this weekend or next week, then I'm done. I'm going to stop working everyday and only work occasionally when I feel like. I will have enough money to never need to work again so I can enjoy being free and do whatever I want when I play.

If you have any story, share here :)

When you leave your console on, don't you get disconnected from the server?

You can avoid disconnecting by rubber banding your controller, or by watching TV or security cameras.

I bought my cocaine business 56 days ago & so far it made around $15.5M but I spent on supplies around $1.5M & I spent on buying the business + upgrades around $2.5M so my profit is not amazing. I made more $ from the CEO's vehicles warehouse. I bought it 74 days ago & so far it made around $41M after I spent $1M on the office & $2.7M on the warehouse.

I love how easy it is to make money from the MC businesses even if the sales and supply runs may be tedious at times. Just something about them that makes it feel real good doing it.. it really paints that vibe of being a gritty criminal and profiting off of illegal drugs quite well. Sometimes I do MC Work for the immersion/role play itself. This game is so good like that.

Anyways, I bought a cocaine business when the update first came out, not knowing it was the most profitable, I just bought it out of the sheer coolness factor and the fact that I liked the idea of producing cocaine and selling it more than the other drugs at the time. Oh.. and the naked workers inside obviously how could I forget that... ever since I saw that teaser pic on the Newswire I knew this was going to be my first business purchase.

Having no idea it would be the most profitable, I bought the cheapest one at Alamo Sea (turned out to be yet another great decision) but then ended up not having enough money for upgrades after not realizing they were even a thing. So I said fck it and started doing supply runs anyway until I could sell product at max capacity without upgrades. I remember I was working on filling the business up for about a week since Bikers came out and exactly a week later my business gets raided for the first time. If I had known I couldn't die once without losing my entire stock... I wouldn't have turned around while on my way to get snacks and armor lol

Of course I got killed and the notification that all my product was seized. I was livid and couldn't believe it was so easy to lose product. I finally told myself to buy all three upgrades someway somehow so I forced myself to sell one of my higher priced vehicles I rarely used at the time.. my Pegassi Osiris. Really didn't want to sell it at the time but I told myself I'd buy it back later since it was also one of my most prized possessions regardless of how seldom I used it. So I sold it and bought all three upgrades for my coke lab and notice everything improved massively as a result.. supply usage, product produced, frequency of raids etc etc. I remember I had worked on generating 140k of product for a week before it all got raided and after installing the new upgrades, I made 140k of product in about just a day of playing. Amazing investment.

Anyway, I only kept the coke lab as my main business at the time after looking deeply into how hard it was to maintain just one business let alone five! I was also broke as hell so there was that. This is also around the time I started playing heavily again with the regulars of my GTAF Crew (doing contracts, supply runs and sales as well as helping out with them) This honestly made biker work so much more enjoyable and easy to profit from. I had usually kept to myself and did CEO/VIP Work exclusively in solo lobbies but this update was made purely to enjoy with others so it worked out heavily in everyone's favor. I hadn't had a blast playing GTA Online like that since Executive and Other Criminals came out.

Anyway, I work on the coke biz for about a month or so before Rockstar decides to up the selling price of product at each business as well as discounts off the businesses for the first time since Bikers was out. I'd been meaning to get a second business for awhile after doing my research and realizing the meth lab was the second most profitable business out of the five. Bought that as my second business along with all three upgrades at once (I wasn't a broke bitch anymore thank god) and proceeded to work on that alongside the Coke business. One thing I immediately noticed is how much slower (I mean REALLY slower) meth produced than coke. It opened my eyes to what a marvel the Coke lab was and pat myself on the back for not only buying that as my first business without any prior research but also at the best location which turned out to be the cheapest too coincidentally (Same thing w/ Meth location wise)

Anyway, after I made back the money I spent on the meth lab including upgrades (~3m) I shut it down until like December and just worked on Coke until then. To this day I've made 26m from the Coke Lockup and ~6m from the Meth Lab. It really is passive income in a way after you buy/steal supplies and then just sit on your ass while your minions cook up that product for you to sell. Just do a supply run or two with a partner and then sit back and relax and watch that money pile up. Even if you do supply runs by yourself, it won't take you more than 30 to 40 minutes to fill up the product bar. The supply runs can be quite entertaining too sometimes. These biker businesses are by far some of the best investments I've made in my Online career, money is literally being thrown at me for not doing much. Coke and Meth will forever be my babies, fck buying the other businesses though. It's hard enough to maintain these two not to mention the steep, costly price of setting up each business properly.

In short, long live MC Work :D

Wow, very interesting story to read and I like it! It seems like your journey have been a bit similar to mine, you were poor in the beginning and thanks to your coke business you have plenty of money now.

I agree about the mc business being a very good investment because if you think about it, it's really an easy way of making money especially if you run only one business. As soon as you run more than one then it's starts getting a bit tough, but hey, it all depends on how much money you wish to earn per day. Some players claims that biker businesses are not a good way of making money and I don't agree with that because biker work is supposed to be done long term. Of course you can't get rich or make very much money by just working 1, 2 or 7 days. This is meant to be a long term source of income, so give it some time and eventually you will make a fortune.

Let's see if more interesting stories will be shared :)

I played around with the Biker stuff for a month or so, maybe made a little profit but probably just covered my costs. it was fun and I would have kept it going but LTJ and his constant pestering ruined the whole experience for me. I felt like submitting a support request to R* saying LTJ is bugged and keeps calling constantly. IMO it's spammy, R* product harassment at it's worst.

I had no option but to shut down all the businesses, fire the c*nt LTJ and put a restraining order on the prick. Now my online experience is much more peaceful and I don't receive a single call from anyone once again.

P.S does your business not get raided when you leave it on all day? f*ck, my fully upgraded businesses got raided daily

Well, I had to do that get the money I need to start a business, otherwise it would take forever to earn the first million. When I say I worked hard, I mean from the point where I started working with my coke business, not before.

Edit: I'm not trying to inspire anybody btw. This thread is only created for sharing interesting stories for fun, not to inspire or argue about how to make money or what is better to do.

Lonely-Martin

Not a fan. (You'll love this guys, back on form... lol...)

Bought the businesses, naturally expecting a return, but long since made peace with it never doing so...

Firstly, TL:DR... I never knew about 'solo public' for ages... Got too much grief to care about the losses... f*ck that!

3 post op vans vs. a Hydra/Buzzard or even a f*cking Insurgent... No chance, and you think those other 2 vans are safe... Bollocks to that... A day gone!

Then, after finding friends, and spending time helping them, they blow up my sh*t, and run like bitches... Really pissed me off as I spent many an hour helping guys set up, refill, and sell, they help me refill, blow up a plane with a RPG... f*ck!!!

NOTHING IN RETURN!!! Bastards! Lone wolfing a MMO does nothing for me, but everybody want theirs...

Now, don't get me wrong, I see the potential, hence my frustration...

It was exactly the same with crates too, worse... I ended up giving up on all this freemode sh*t as it was tedious, for every crate/supply run, I had to have a half hour dog fight, avoid campers, switching sessions, and all sorts of troubles... Unreal.

Gave it all up... Heisting with randoms paid better, I stayed there...

Once MC contracts paid double in Jan/Feb (can't remember exactly)... I opened up here, to find like-minded to do the contracts...

Found a good bunch, some better than others, some too young for me, but good 'workers' ya know?

All good, yeah... Errr, no... Started well, soon got petty, too many that glitch or cheat got in too, not going into it again. It just didn't work, on both sides... Fair play. I tried too much too, my bad...

Similar sh*t from some, help them, not me, that sort of thing... But I wanted to get a network going, so I tried to 'suck it up' for the greater good... Though, I did get help from one chap on this forums with 2 full coke sales... Always appreciated dude, you know who you are, F...

After an unsavoury incident, I won't go into, it all broke down, I had to delete all and start again, didn't know who to trust, it was gone...

Research time... Ahh, solo public... Bazinga!

Time to make it count! Started with crates... By now, I didn't care about the money or any 100% collection/sales bollocks either, too many cost me that, and the time and patience I had with these freemode businesses... I just collected one at a time, selling in 8's to avoid trickier airplane drops... Plodded away, watching Only Fools and Horses (Watched all, one of the best, has to be done every couple of years, IMO) in the background, or a bit of (very loud) Cosmic Baby... I was at peace... Bored, but peace...

Got the gold statue, made $23m... $8-10m up from my 5 large w/h investments... A sh*t return compared to most anyone, but still a small win for me... Pathetic!!!

MC businesses... Well I tried...

Coke: $5m/30 sales!!!

Meth: $1m

Cash: $700k

Weed: $600k

ID: $ 500k

(How many sales I don't know on them 4)

Forget it, too much cash will be wasted in failed sales to buy supplies... Took too long filling and selling at 1-1.5 bars... After crates, I got bored quicker...

And then there's LJT... f*ck OFF!!! NOT WHEN I'M FIGHTING YOU ANNOYING LITTLE PRICK!!!

DEAD!... DEAD!... DEAD!... Every-damn-time I stay in public for more than a minute, anytime I'm on the run, or in a damn scrap, this prick, along with the damn cops WILL ruin any good fight...

And now we're here... Today onwards...

They're closed.

Everyone does their own stuff in public on their own, 'Show Offline' on their PSN's all the time too... don't blame them, but, f*ck, it's boring as hell... They only came out of their shells when something like heists pays extra, then they need me, or others, but MC... Nope, take, take, take... But that's GTA...

Then, some had the audacity to criticize the fact I delete them and moved on!!! Can't buy that entertainment from that asinine few... Funny f*ckers.

I'm done with them... Closed all 5... Torrid time... I'm way past done with these, especially after this past month 2x events, I'll never NEED the money from them... Never had $50m spare cash before... I'll not waste that, and think I'm good for a while...

I look after me now... I have a 'f*ck you all' attitude, may have shown that here, often... Those that do add to MY game, and I add to THEIR game, are always welcome, but, IMO, most don't want to help, they want the help!... It's a vicious circle of greed, that Take Two, and R* are rubbing their hands at. Fair play, I would be too with the amount of cash this game has garnered... But I give no quarter now, if there's one thing I don't like about you... Do one, I won't even try... I've put more than enough effort into being kind, and asking politely... Help me help you, or f*ck off... Don't try guilt tripping me, don't try to get a bunch of your other, or new friends alike, to troll me, making sh*t up, getting a group to follow me, just leave me be... I don't care once your gone! I like to talk GTA, this site is awesome for that, but some of those here, look to go far beyond that, in turn, I react... That's life, don't bait me, I will speak my mind, until censored, being English, and a child of the 80's/90's... Trust me, we're used to that!

But, yes, I do have good players added, very good, but unfortunately, they are lone wolfs too, until heists popped up double...

(*Except a good few guys I met recently, during heists/contact missions events, I've not spoken to them about working together regarding this stuff, I probably won't either... Not worth their time, I'm past caring about freemode, so broken, I wouldn't know where to begin... These new guys are NOT who I'm referring to, if any of them read this, sorry if I put you off with my attitude, lol, It's just this DLC resonates to a bad side of GTA, that ALL should avoid)

Anyway...

MC contracts on he other hand... I count them as a huge win...

Between the two times that they have been double this year my wall says... 435 jobs complete/$17.3m cash made, that's what I was 'the boss' for... Many times, at least that $17m's worth, I did with others as 'boss'...

Hugely successful, highly profitable, and more than covered my losses from the businesses... Let them rot...

IMO, The MC contract have THE BEST MISSIONS OUT THERE... Going into the police station, the O'Neils, the Lost clubhouse... Guns for hire and weapon of choice are fantastic, the pay was awesome too, but the jobs themselves... More of that!!!

But I'll not help another again, I won't ever ask for another to waste time helping me... I'll heist, do contact missions, and other things where co-op, teamwork, and communication are key, and what I thrive on... Never boring to heist on call, makes much better cash, and along with my Cargobob... I got I/E, anytime a heist job f*cks up, I'll sell a car... Easiest quick, solo cash out there...

Should have put this in the 'solo heist' thread too... This is a KEY reason why I love the heists as they are... Real teamwork, real gaming!!!

And for those hating on me more often than not... I'm not complaining here, I tried and failed, I accept that, and am glad I did try, I learned a lot, about the players, and R*'s new ways too... Very discouraging for me, but there are 100's of things, maybe 1000's that I could do other than this, I heist, race, mess about in my own way... Win some/lose some... I'm good, and the businesses themselves, just like most anything in GTAO, they're very attractive little things to add to the game...

Just a shame the opportunities/game modes are wasted on me, more so these days.

But for those with joy out there, hold onto it, it's fragile at times... I do hope gunrunning doesn't push me away by being far out of range in prices, or that the stuff to be unlocked needs others in session, solo public better stay, otherwise, after nearly 4 years, And with Gran Turismo and RDR2 on the horizon...

I'll be off, and use this game for pure entertainment...

Maybe, I'll do exactly as I did on RDR last time around... Get my self to the end of the game as a 'honourable' with John... But once Jack took over... Full f*cking bandit... All the way, undoing all that hard work... Seemed to fit in RDR for Jack to be a c*nt... I may just follow suit and play like a lot of players here, once my love for this particular game goes completely...

Some might not enjoy my story, some may react, that's fair... But the Biker DLC will always be a reminder in what, when and where I lost a whole lot of love for this game, crates too, but I didn't 'open up to others' anywhere near as much as I tried with the MC businesses part of GTA:O...

A dark part in my story of GTA, and one I fully regret at times, even trying... It turned me right off and into this, whatever it is you haters like to call me... I dunno... I just hated that part of the game, the fallout was horrendous, many saw me react here and it was embarrassing, for me, from me, and many added fuel to the fire, again, I allowed myself to be 'ridden'...

NOT AGAIN!!!

Yeah, I went into it a bit, but that's my story... And that was asked of the OP... Thanks GTASA-Pilot... This helped me clear my mind, hopefully others too, and I'm sure more positive stories, like Rafae's will pop up soon... Many love this DLC for the right reasons... Enjoy it people. A great way to play when it goes right...

Peace!

(Please don't remove this, edit if needed, as I feel I didn't 'label' anyone, and I'm not looking to crate any hate, just my story is showing that there are more sides to 'success' within the game, and sometimes, for my own faults too, it doesn't work out as well for some, no offence is intended here, please, I hope that can be seen)

Well I won't have paragraphs of success stories but just to add that MC businesses are currently my favourite thing on the game. I steal supplies 99% of the time either solo or with a friend and always sell full product with a friend so it's far from tedious.

I've made

Coke: $20m

Weed (now closed): $7m

Meth: $5.5m

Meth I only opened recently. I've had 3 or so botched sales where one of the delivery vehicles messed up for whatever reason but apart from that I've had a successful time with them. Beats crates collecting and vehicle work for me. Even though I've made $35m combined with those two.

Having businesses and clubhouses in sandy shores really was what I wanted for a long time. I used to spawn in sandy shores on the regular on ps3 just because the game felt different. I like messing about up there so it fits in well with my play style.

LJT only calls you if have a business not upgraded and/or running out of supplies. Yes, it can be annoying but just hang up on him if it's not something important. Martin and Dom calls me all the time so they are the biggest problem for me, not LJT.

The business doesn't get raided because I idle in my business by watching the security cameras. I disband my mc everytime after I'm done working (resupplying or selling). You can't get raided as long as you are inside your business or not registered an MC president.

MC is a good way to start a new char./Acc. and to make some cash quick.

I'm on that journey right now. respectively left that behind me. Started my 4th account on the 3rd of May 29th of April, skipped accidently the intro and was online with just 9k in my pocket and a gun in my hand. My first couple 100k I made was done by grinding/joining missions so I could afford the route 68 clubhouse which was on sale, a Bati and, of course, a Coke lab. Participating in random heists to save up for the Buz which was on sale too (and I think its very usefull once you play MC stuff alone) and enjoyed the event week arround the biker missions.

Every cash I earned was spend on the upgrades (one by one) for my lab and at the time it was fully upgraded, I earned enought to by an apartment just in time for the double $&RP week we just had. Once I log in the game, I do a supply run, do some freemode events, dailies and a MC-sale and mission 1st. After that everything is possible, but here and there I have a look on the supplies and do a sell at a max of two bars.

That's my fix routine and with everything else I do online I'm now lvl 64 with 12mil in the bank (MC clubhouse/Cokelab, Apartment, Buzzard, Kuruma, Bati bought, some other cars stolen but yet nothing tuned). I love it that now the races are 2x cash & RP, though only Stunt and Special Vehicles and not the classic ones. So I only need 26 more races to win to be able to fully tune every vehicle I have. Next will be an office and I/E garage. But I will run my Cokelab until the servers are down :). I owe him much!

My main account on the other hand owns all five fully upgraded labs and stopped using them for half a year now, tbh.

Edit: started 29. April not 3. May

You can avoid disconnecting by rubber banding your controller, or by watching TV or security cameras.

This. Whenever I watch a TV show IRL, I turn on GTA V and make my character watch TV. Meanwhile the drug factories fill up, when I've finished watching TV IRL, I sell. Even with buying supplies, it's still very lucrative for the amount of time you have to play the game - and the delivery missions (with the exception of Post OP vans) are fine to play. Also they fill up when you're doing other stuff, such as CEO activities. It's a great income supplement. Made $10m from coke alone with minimal effort.

The MC Contract mission "Fragile Goods" used to frustrate the hell out of me and my friends. The vans are heavily armored and you go through a ton of explosives trying to take them out. Plus that particular contract mission doesn't really pay all that well compared to the rest, so it's not really worth the bother...

until one of us got a Buzzard. Now it's easy money.

If you are in the business or not in your mc you will not get raided.

Whenever I get online I check my coke lockup first, supply it, and then putz around doing CEO work/crates until ljt calls about being out of supplies. Repeat, sell, go to bed.

I can see how you appreciate your coke lockup for helping you so much :)

-snip-

Quite agree with you regarding the immersion factor of the MC business work.. CEO stuff feels very 'cookie cutter' & repetitive in comparison. Only downside is the MC pickups take you all over the map, although ill never tire of cruising the highways on my various choppers so its not all bad..

Hécate-II

Made +-30 Mio with cocaine(Morningwood lockup),currently its bugged(PC)and peoples of my crew prefere to do IE anyway.

Cocaine was the best stuff before, thanks to glitched infinite supplies, I managed to get these infinite supplies for counterfeit money too, but failed with Meth, hence I only made less than 10Mio from meth. When IE was released, this supply glitch was fixed...

  • 3 weeks later...

I didn't get into the MC business for a long time and I missed the Executives update and Import/Export as well because I was busy playing other games at the time.

What drew me back into GTAO was the announcement of double RP and cash for heists. I made so much money that week but I didn't go about spending it frivolously. I knew it would be wise to make an investment in the businesses so I did. I bought all five of them as well as all their upgrades.

All my businesses are located in Los Santos because I prefer selling in Blaine County where it's much quieter and less likely to deal with trolls.

I ended up shutting down the document forgery when I realized just how small the profit margins were and after a while, I actually started making a loss on it because I always buy supplies instead of stealing it.

Now, I only have four businesses: Coke, meth, weed and cash. I will check and see how much money I have made off them and update my post but I suspect it's a lot.

I don't steal supplies because I spend the time running my CEO double crate warehouse and vehicle warehouse so I end up making the money back in a couple of minutes.

I have a question for you guys, do you prefer selling in your county or the other county. For those with business(es) in Blaine County, what's it like selling in Los Santos?

Following up to my story, since this event I have put more effort in to these businesses, I'm now close to breaking even on 2 more, cash and meth, and more than halfway with weed and ID... Easy back-up money that I'm plodding with between some cars, crates and goofing about...

Not in any hurry with it all, selling at 1/2 bars too, it's not about the cash as much, more the fun of mixing up all freemode businesses including CEO... 1200 crates and 205 cars now too...

It all goes in the pot, lol...

How do you guys handle the constant calls from Lest... LJT? That just made me not even want to open a business at all.

Lonely-Martin

@ Verstappen, I only have 1 business open at any one time, to avoid a raid on one while selling another... To stop LJT calling, fill a business with some supplies, bought or stolen, but wait for bought supplies to be delivered, and shut the business down... Stops him calling about the inactive ones...

What I'm doing now is, from a starting point of 5 businesses all closed with at least 1 bar of supplies...

Load up, run playlist, open the business of the day, fill it to my preferred level (knowing how many bars of supplies makes how much product), once full, run playlist again, do 4 crates, source and sell a car, do 4 crates, source and sell car, playlist, sell MC, playlist, fill MC...

Repeating that loop, my playlists are contact missions, that's where I either semi-idle drinking coffee, smoking, or doing paperwork for work, lol... Always plodding at whatever pace I feel like, always earning, and if distracted by a fight, special cargo item, or fancy heisting, I sell at the end of my session, refilling if time, or next time I log in...

Been building up... When doing this, even the ID biz has made me money... My stuff now is:

ID: 900k - 15 sales

Weed: 1.3m - 15 sales

Cash: 1.3m - 12 sales

Meth: 1.9m - 20 sales

Coke 5.3m - 30 sales (no changes here, beefing others)

Only had 3 raids cost me money, no change from my earlier post too... Even after this event, I'll keep these running I imagine... Got it working for me now.

Out of county always, for max cash reward. If you're going to be doing these painful delivery missions, you may as well do it for the highest cash reward possible. Always sell at full stock too.

Selling from Blaine County to Los Santos is not too bad if you have your businesses around the Sandy Shores/Alamo Sea area. Anything beyond that and you'll have a hard time transporting the product all the way to the other side of the map. Don't even think about buying businesses in Paleto if you plan to sell out of county lol.

ONE of my accounts got banned, got 4 mill refund,

Bought a mc and coke only.

So I steal supplies so I get 3 bars then I switched session back to back intill the product fills (takes about 15-20 minutes depending on problems it's a glitch) then sell.so far I've made 2 mill in a couple days but I only play 1 hour a day cause it gets boring im not grinding but I imagine I could make mad money.i bought the paleto bay one.level 11 lol

I have the opposite. I have the Cash business in Los Santos at the beach and I want to shoot myself in the head when I have to deliver to Paleto Bay. SEVEN MILES with a Post Op van is NOT fun. Lol.

There are only two options for Cash business in the city and the other one is even further south. It's in Cypress Flats. Lol.

Off topic: I like having all my businesses in the city because it's close to my CEO office, warehouses and apartments.
