Suspected of cheating by rockstar?

I got a message today that I was suspected of cheating and to improve my behaviour. Not sure how exactly it was worded, I didn't have enough time to take a screenshot but that's basically what it said. I know I get reported a lot because of my high rank and high kdr and players sometimes just assume I'm not legit but this is the first time I got an actual notification from Rockstar. If Rockstar is going to investigate my acc I don't mind since I'm not cheating, but this got me worrying, can I actually get falsely banned if I get reported a lot? In addition it bothers me that my total money earned from crate work and I/E doesn't count on my social club and I know I'm not the only one with that problem. My spent money + money currently in bank is about 85mil more than my money earned and that's basically the amount I earned from those two activities. I'm not sure Rockstar knows about this bug and it looks like I got 85mil illegitimately gained. Is there any reason to worry, and should I contact rockstar support? Or just ignore the message?

Rockstar does not care for proof nor does it care if you take the time to report an apparent bug. They'll likely label you as a cheater if your funds appear suspicious or if you are lucky, they'll reset your money and leave you with a warning. I would suggest that you refrain yourself from getting reported as much as possible. Play in closed crew sessions or with friends. Avoid those disastrous public lobbies if you can. If you get in Rockstar's cross-hair again, keep your fingers crossed and hope they are having a good day.

That's the problem, I don't like closed friend sessions. I love to PvP in public lobbies or just do VIP jobs in full lobbies. Guess I'll go play something else for a few days so my reports don't pile up.

Well the stats that you can see and what Rockstar Games can see aren't the same (the latter will be more detailed), and that message generally pops up as a result of being reported a number of times for "exploits". With a high rank, it just isn't possible to avoid people thinking you've cheated to get there, and hit the report button - unless you're willing to play on your own (which opposes your play style). I often get fed up of explaining the game's coming up to 4 years old and people are, and can be over rank 2000.

 

It's possible that this has flagged your account and it will at some point get reviewed, but if you're legit, I wouldn't worry.
