Why are GTA VCS/LCS not released for PC & Xbox?

VCS & LCS are only playable on PSP & PS2 [LCS has mobile port too]. Why aren't they released for other platforms? What do you think?

Because back in the day both games were a Sony exclusive. Nowdays maybe a PC port it's ok but in Xbox, I don't think so. Anyway, won't happen soon or maybe never, excluding emulators and total conversions mods of course.

Yeah, we have an awesome LCS total conversion, but unfortunately, all the VCS conversions were eventually abandoned

Rockstar have terrible legacy support, by the time the contract for exclusive ran out, the people who worked on this were gone or changed studios, the only reason Mobile exists is because they auction it off to the cheapest port studio.

LCS mobile version is good. I think they'd sell well if they brought the PS2 versions of LCS and VCS to the PS4, put them in a double pack or something.

You are correct, just set the right settings and it should work fine... or it will just lagg, even if you have a Gaming pc...

Because they are lazy, you can play them using PPSSPP though.

Yep ppsspp is pretty good, I have a very basic lenovo laptop and the game run well.

Yeah, you just need to use the right settings.

 

I believe there's even a cheat (yes, a cheat, that should even work on a real PSP if you have a CheatDevice) that makes the 30 fps limit to 60 fps! However, it didn't work for me

nah... VCS on PCSX2 is pretty light weight for now, I only have a bit slow down with some high speed driving, I'm on an APU

but surely LCS runs terribly on both of PCSX2 emulator and PS2 console
