So...Now that I'm starting to invest, I have been seriously debating with myself in taking the leap of faith with TTWO stocks.

My initial idea is investing in them now and see what happens in 10 months from now which is where I'm expecting the release of V on next gen consoles.

Or, keep on buying their stocks until GTA 6 has been released in for a year or two.

What you guys think?

Multiple NFL video games in development to include football's most prominent star players

OneTeam Partners plays leading role in player-driven partnership

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jul. 30, 2020-- 2K, OneTeam Partners (OneTeam) and the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA), today announced a partnership that will allow the label to include National Football League (NFL) players in multiple football games in development and set to launch starting in calendar year 2021, during Take-Two Interactive’s fiscal year 2022.

This press release features multimedia. View the full release here: https://www.businesswire.com/news/ho...0730005260/en/

The partnership will grant 2K the right to feature the names, numbers, images and likenesses for over 2,000 current NFL players. OneTeam, the NFLPA’s group licensing representative, facilitated the deal. Financial terms were not disclosed.

“We’re thrilled to be working with the NFLPA and OneTeam to bring the biggest and best stars in football to the games we’re working on,” said David Ismailer, President of 2K. “We want to give fans experiences that are authentic, memorable and fun, and having a roster of real-life sports heroes through the Players Association and OneTeam is a huge part of delivering on that promise.”

“2K has a proven track record of high-profile and successful business relationships with other sports leagues, professional athletes and their collective fans,” said Steve Scebelo, Interim President of NFL Players Inc., the marketing and licensing arm the NFLPA. “The label makes some of the best sports video games in the world, and we look forward to working with 2K, our players and OneTeam on future projects.”

“Sports video gaming is a massive growth category, and the partnership between the NFLPA and 2K presents an opportunity not only to excite current gamers but also reach untapped future audiences,” said Ahmad Nassar, CEO of OneTeam Partners. “Our role is to bring together strong collective rights that can be supported by the most innovative and creative businesses, benefiting all stakeholders. We are pleased to be a part of this important partnership.”

2K's NFL games will be non-simulation football game experiences, and are currently in early stages of development. Specific game titles, developers and release dates will be announced at a later date.

Take-Two is now at new highs of $180 and market cap of $20 billion. Just 12 years ago, EA was going to buy them for $1 billion. Excellent management, brands, and structure is what led them here. GO TTWO to $200 and beyond!

BREAKING NEWS: Take-Two is acquiring Playdots

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.marketwatch.com/amp/story/take-two-to-acquire-two-dots-developer-playdots-for-192-million-2020-08-18

With Socialpoint and now Playdots I can see Take-Two forming Take-Two Mobile Studios or something similar.

Speaking of Zenimax...

Microsoft just acquired them and they are now part of Xbox.  Did not see this coming.

Lot of console war talk on social media today from fans wanting Sony to buy X publisher in response to this. It's little bit hyperbolic but it will be interesting to see if they feel the need or want to respond to this. I don't think they do, their 1st party is exceptionally strong as everyone knows but Microsoft's 1st party is becoming gigantic and will, you expect, be pumping out 1st party titles on the regular in a year or two when they all get firing. Games Pass with this deal is going to become even crazier value for customers and Sony's answer to it the other day with the PS+ Collection didn't match it then, it's miles away now.

$TTWO is currently valued at $23B. I believe that it's still the best play (investment) from the other two ($EA and $ATVI) for a growth-oriented investor. It has a smaller market cap and a higher sales growth. In the next 2-3 years, I can see it valued at $40B, which is almost the current market cap of $EA. Grand Theft Auto 6, and its Online component, will be a major catalyst. Looking ahead into the future, say 8-10 years, or by 2030, I can see it knocking at the doors of $100B in valuation with $10B in annual sales (it currently does $3.3B in sales).

Great deal. NBA 2K is the #1 basketball game and they want to bolster that. Take-Two should become a $25-30 billion company by end of 2021 or mid 2022. GTA V for PS5 and XBX will push the stock price up, and RDR2 keep selling. Then there is mobile where they are growing. And $2 billion in cash and $0 debt. Great future for Take-Two

Take-Two should become a $30 billion company by 2023. GTA 6 and continued growth of GTAO and RDO plus biggest pipeline in it history should be catalysts.

They fought off getting acquired by Vivendi a few years ago but did let Tencent buy like 5%. What Ubisoft needs is a leadership change Yves Guillemot gotta go.

I don't think they'll do that. The NBA owns 50% of it and they have a good partnership going.
