Great end to the week. Here is hoping it goes from $128 and finish at $135-140 next Friday. Go TTWO!

I have no doubts that Redemption II will exceed the high-end expectations sales wise. The game is getting overwhelmingly positive reactions across the internet to a degree that I didn't foresee. Rocktar is making a high-quality investment in the title which will reflect positively on Take2's quarterly numbers by Q3 (February 2019), and of course, for full fiscal year.

That for sure Efreet. Take-Two is on the verge of becoming the most -envied- greatest gaming company in history in terms of everything come 2019-2020 and onward. And if NBA 2K League becomes another cash cow they will definitely buyout NBA's stake since they also have a wholly subsidiary for that Take-Two Esports Holdings. Long Live Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc.

Edit|Note: I am certain Social Point will be rebranded or incorporated under a namesake label of Take-Two (which will be first time since 2003) looking at T2M [Take-Two Mobile] consisting of all SP talents and further acquisitions in that space. NBA 2KL will lead to buy a media company likely 9 Story and renaming it Take-Two New Media consisting of Esports, Studios, Distribution, and Brands the last three will monetize Rockstar Games, 2K, T2M, and Private Division franchises. All that aside, Take-Two have the greatest slate in their history in the next few quarters: RDR2, NBA 2K19, NBA 2K Playgrounds 2, WWE 2K19, Carnival Games for Switch, few new IPs including one from Private Division. Go Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (TTWO)!

Take-Two (TTWO) will reach a new ath this week and finally crest the $15B market capitalization milestone settling into it before end of August. TTWO will start 2019 (or in mid of the year) as a $20-22B market cap company. Long Live Take-Two (TTWO)!

Video games stocks are looking stronger by the day heading into their best performing quarter in Fall. On the other hand, oh my, Chinese stocks listed on Nasdaq are getting killed day by day. Tariff escalations aren't doing China any favor, all that while prominent USA-based companies are enjoying their free Bullish ride. I've made a big mistake by betting Long on $BABA. I want off the Chinese ride and I won't touch them again, haha.

Haha nice one Efreet. Anyhow, Take-Two (TTWO) makes majority of it revenue in the US and the remainder is International. Even their Asia HQ is based in Singapore: Take-Two Asia Pte.

China is a manageable risk for Take Two.

They soon will start negotiations with Trump, because he can harm them more than they can him. Actually today it was announced that they is another chinese delegation coming to US to talk trade.

Speaking sales for the glorious christmas quarter. My ranking looks like this.

EA being the biggest looser in the overcrowded October. Activision solid with CoD. Take Two biggest winner. RDR2 to reach 1st year sales of >30M copies sold

Sales FC till Jan. 19
#1 RDR2 (Take Two Interactive, Rockstar) - 20-25M units
#2 Fortnite
#3 CoD Black Ops 4 - 15M units
#4 FIFA 19 - 12M units
#5 NBA 2k19 - 8M units
#6 Spiderman - 8M units
#7 Battelfield 5 - 7M units
#8 Tomb Raider - 7M units
#9 AC Odyssey - 5M units
#10 GTA 5

Sales: Amen brother!

On China: That for sure.

Note: Take-Two will invest on all of it labels come 2019, and so likely rename Social Point or make it part of a new branded mobile label. So it will be Rockstar Games, 2K, Private Division, and Take-Two Mobile Entertainment (it will be their first namesake label since Take-Two Licensing which was shuttered 13 years ago) come 2020-2021.

Strategy wise this would make sense but they need to buy another mobile gaming company and realign their ressources. This entity must be bigger 250M$ yearly in revenue.

The hype for RDR2 is doing great cant wait for the next hands on reviews after gameplay trailer #2.

this is the first time I preordered and bought a game since Titanfall 2 :D
