Which car would protect me most Duke of death or armored kuroma

So I have seen a lot of people driving the Duke of death in online and my question is when in a solo mission with a lot of enemies shooting at me and using the car as a mobile fort which car would protect me the most Duke of death or armored kuroma

Deadman2112

kuruma

Also the reason you see a lot of players driving around in the DOD is because a lot of players are returning players and it cost them absolutely nothing to get the car Other than the cost of the upgrades and mods that you can put on At the Los Santos customs

The Duke is overrated, sure it offers protection from sticky bombs and RPGs,

but the weak spot around the driver window is a pain in the ass.

Especially when you are getting attacked and trying to manoeuvre the beast,

the wheel spin does slow you down and leaves you open to attacks.

The only defence I can recommended using reverse,

you are pretty well protected then.

NPCs can barely shoot you in the DoD, but they will in the karuma. DoD can ram things like the insurgent, looks better, and takes some explosions too.

I have both, because the DoD was free, so why not.

The Karuma offers much better protection from bullets. It protects better from bullets than any other car or truck.

Having used both in missions I've been in situations where I've had to scoff down snacks in the DoD, whereas in the same mission, same enemies, same location...but in my Karuma, I've taken just a tiny sliver of damage, or even no damage.

My Karuma has paid for itself over and over again.

That said I do really like my DoD, it looks cool, I really enjoy driving it at times - though I know plenty struggle with muscle cars & unlike the karuma, it will save you from an explosion.

Just last night I was driving along near route 68 and BOOM a jet appeared and hit me with a missile, but my DoD shrugged it off & I got under a nearby bridge for cover.

That said OP, it doesn't offer the level of protection from bullets that the Karuma does, which is THE most important attribute for a mission vehicle, so buy yourself a karuma

In terms of helping you in missions, saving you ammo, body armor, and snacks...as well as having to drop out of missions to get the snacks, the Karuma really does pay for itself. You won't regret buying one....just do me a favor & don't paint it some stupid bright colour, it looks it's best in matte, black, or earth tones.

Oh dear, my karuma is matte orange/black

Well as long as it's matte & there's black in there that's not too bad ;)

I have another car in orange and black myself, it's actually a nice looking combo. It's just that when it comes to armored stuff i think they look odd in bright colours, especially if it's metallic.

The one exception I have is my DoD, I think it looks it's best in matte black, more menacing, but I wanted to make it stand out a little, at least so I could tell it apart from any others in matte black...so I did the secondary, which is just the bumper, exhausts, engine block and bars that run to the roof lights, in metallic black.

Still looks menacing, being mostly matte, but the few touches of metallic make it stand out more, made it look a little sleeker.

My karuma I had entirely matte black for a while, then I changed to matte dark green primary with matte black secondary. Suits it & looks really good.

The car is three years old yet hardly anyone can pronounce or write it properly...

OT: for protection against bullets, get a Kuruma. For protection against explosives and a few bullets, get the Duke O'Death.

Heh, my three preferred color combinations seem to be orange and black, blue and diamond blue, and in my duke's case, black and crew color blue!

Its actually what are you trying to avoid. If you want to be safe from bullets go with kuruma otherwise duke o death will help you survive from enough explotions and some bullets. Its very important to inform you that, its easier to aim and shoot being inside a kuruma. Duke usually its annoying on driving.

Do you never learn it? http://gta.wikia.com/wiki/Kuruma

I'm gonna be harassed until I finally give up and spell it the right way won't I >:(

Deadman2112

LOL yeah They don't let much go around here

Another benefit of getting the armored Kuruma versus the DoD Is that if you are a low-level player it automatically comes With turbo Which can be beneficial at low levels

The thing I would be more concerned with rather than the paint job would be getting a set of bullet-proof tires on that car

Doesn't really do a whole lot of good to have an armored car Without bulletproof tires

Which gives you a better range shooting from inside the car, Karanjma or DoD? I remember sitting in one of them and I couldn't shoot rearwards (I think it was the DoD)?

Actually both cars have several blind spots that cannot be shot from but this varies depending on what seat you are sitting in and the vehicle

For example if you are sitting in the back seat of the armored kuruma You have a far greater range than the people sitting in the front seat

I'll try to put together a short video for you showing the differences from the drive seat

...edit...

Okay so in the video you can clearly see where the blind spots are from the driver's seat but like I said this varies if you were in the passenger seat or the rear seat of the armored Kuruma...

[Flash]https://youtu.be/vuTKFAeEhNo

But from the driver's seat The range is much larger In the kuruma Versus the DoD

The Wandering Hunter

insurgent with careful driving in freeaim

jets are 95% laughable

players can be ignored

cars fear you

in a kuruma only on foot players who aren't paying attention are dealt with

in a duke you're just a crap insurgent

in a armoured v12 you have a little of everything

Deadman2112

Insurgents are useless man

I snipe the driver out of those things all the time then two sticky bombs/rockets and poof their vehicle is gone

Along with the idiots who rode around with them

So in a matter of a few seconds I usually get quite a few kills

Thanks for packaging yourself up like sardines and making yourself vulnerable

And I'm pretty certain He was asking about which would give him the breast protection on missions and it is undoubtedly the armored car

Shooting in any car in GTA online sucks donkey dicks. Shooting in general sucks, because the combat mechanics are wonky as hell. The game was not designed for PvP, or even free aim. I'll just grind for money. PvP is boring as hell outside of crazy lobbies.

Since I don't grief others like a spoiled child, I'll choose the Duke because it has style and is just as effective when grinding missions.

Had too many failures with an Armoured Kuruma being blown up with a single missile from the enemy Buzzard on Humane Labs Raid: Valkyrie. The DoD will survive at least one of the Buzzard's missiles, however.
