Yinepi
I've been thinking about retiring my GTX 750Ti 1GB and getting a GTX 1050Ti 4GB. I'm curious, for those that have the card, how much improvement would I gain from doing so? I plan to use the same rig, just change the cards. Currently I can run the game on with everything on high settings, except grass and textures, with 50fps average at 1280x1024 res. The frame-rate does fluctuate from 60 in deserts and 45 in Vinewood area. I have no plans for 4k. Monitor does not support it. Current specs: AMD Fishera FX-6300 @ 3.5Ghz 24GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600mhz 2TB 7200RPM HDD Would the 1050Ti be beneficial when paired with this or would I just be wasting money on a potential bottleneck? Yinepi
The massive amount of VRAM this game uses is the main reason why I need an upgrade. With the 750 currently I'm already using 980 of the 1024, which likely is why the performance stutters occasionally. My main concern really is if the older CPU could cause potential for the 1050 to be unable to reach its fullest performance, being a 5 year old CPU with AMD architecture.
