Games for Windows Live) and they failed horribly. Hell, even now with Quantum Break they notice how peole avoid their store. 3 years console cycle is a bad thing if that's going to be a new trend. Maybe 1 platform specific fanboys might like that but I like to enjoy games on different platforms with my friends. If that will be the new scenario and they have nothing great to offer well that's it for me then. Because piracy and most people aren't into modding. Quantum Break is not well optimized for DX12 (UWP requirement). Probably a dev issue since the Forza games run excellently on Windows 10 (for the most part). It's the same thing Sony is doing so...I'm not sure what your point is. Funny, I don't see Sony forcing their console sh*t on PC gamers? And really, your arguments are clearly coming from a console only focus. Not that many people into modding? Funny how alot of great games/franchises that sell and do really well come from modding communities. This whole sentiment that modding = hackers = piracy is something Microsoft/EA/Ubisoft all started to protect their sh*t and justify increased pricetags and sh*tty DRM policies. Xbox does and that's a good thing. They did speak about modding at one point I think. It's not unreasonable to imagine that they will bring that feature to their platform at some point. They've actually been listening to fan suggestions quite a bit so far. And now when they finally try to make their platforms more like PC's in the living room they are finally experimenting with it (only game so far I know that allows it is Fallout 4). And yes, sony doesn't give a f*ck about PC gamers and has their exclusives. Which is actually a smart thing to do. I don't regret buying a PS3/PS4 for exclusives. I do regret buying a Xbox 360 at the time. Because either the console titles available where also on PS3 or they eventually came to PC a year or so later.
